Very bad service, I did my 4 rims there and on the paper it said full guarantee but literally after 4 days my tire got a whole, went to change it and they said we don’t cover it and can’t change it. Just taking ppl money

These guys are amazing! Service is second to none. They are professional, fast and courteous. Set me up with the perfect winter wheel/winter tire combination for my 2012 Cadillac Escalade. They physically brought out two sets of rims just to see what I like. It may sound simple but this is the type of effort not many other places will do. Most tire places take your money and put no effort in your decision. They knew exactly what I wanted and I was in and out in 1-1/2 hours. They keep you up to date on whats going on with your vehicle and give you their personal opinion not just sell you whatever they have. It is very hard to find a GOOD tire shop with GOOD people. I have gone to Firestone and town fair tire for 20 years. NEVER AGAIN! Thank you Star Tire!!

I went to Star Tires today and was met with an amazing experience. Nilda was not only helpful but she was knowledgeable and made sure that my experience was one to remember. 2 days ago For the 1st time I brought 2 new tires to be replaced,rotated and balanced . As I was pulling up I witnessed what seemed to me a transition of something very small which made the 2 individuals seemed very nervous. They had been looking around alot until one of them seen me that ended up being the employee that ring me up and took the money.. I should have known not to do business with a place that let allows theses kinds of things to take place in therework place.The only reason Im leaving this review is because I came there to just have tires placed and rotated now I left there with a control arm issue, do to that control arm my starter is having issues because of how this control arm thing is making my tire out of sorts.. Also, I two other thing related to the tires .My car is older and isnt pretty on the outside but my car never has problems I keep up with the things inside thAt matters. All of theses things that are now wrong with it has to have been a result of the work they have done ... I believe they did this so I would have that work done at there shop ..No, way never ever will they ever touch my car ever again...I have read some of the other reviews. The responses to thoses reviews and whoever is responding to theses should really be ashamed of themselves for looking up the customers record(if it was really his ) and putting him on blast its like your companys being represented by a teenagers in high school. I know taking someones personal information now must be legal and using it for your own usage must be totally legal. I couldnt even believe i was reading that as a response from a business about bad service 😲 wow. Maybe you should be using that energy on checking your own employees recorders .I know you would probably would denied any wrong doing on your part for things that wasnt broken before I sadly pulled into your place - So Im not gonna even try and theres no way I would ever let u touch my car ever again. My real mechanic will fix, diagnoses what was done to my car .

This is the third time that I got service done with them and they’ve been consistent every time. But this one visit in particular outshined the others. Shayna who covers the desk was so kind and helpful. I was emotional and stressed because time wasn’t on my side but she made arrangements for me that made life easier. It takes me 4 hours out of my day (I live in Brookfield) to have a snow tire charge over at Star Tire. (an hour drive each way and 2 hours waiting around to have my tires changed) I cold easily go to BJs or Costco which are minutes away. I chose Star because theyre a Jewish-Owned business (Im Jewish) and they offered free tire change-over, BALANCING and $50 per season tire storage. I bought Blizzak Snow Tires two snow-seasons ago. Ive the tires an dI believe that they are the best, performance and noise-wise. See the review by Ra Ra which tells a similar story. I am now ASHAMED that this is a Jewish-owned business. It gives us a bad name.BUT they now (and last time) want to charge me about $65 for balancing even though initially, when I bought my tires, they said it was free. I am NOT mistaken. They claim that even their family pays for balancing. (What???!!! They charge their family !!!???)When it comes to replacing my snow tires, Ill go to BJs or Costco.Note, most of their reviews are VERY GOOD but several refer to the so-called Nasty owner, Andy. I met him when I had my dispute over balancing and he did off THIS and ONLY this balancing for free, but from now on I would have to pay for it. That was NOT the deal that was made when the tires were sold to me.My point here is that The Customer is always right. Its far too costly to have a disappointed, much less angry customer, then to do the right thing. Make the customer satisfied, whatever it takes. this is sometimes called the Nordstrom philosophy, after the department store known for the absolute best customer service.After reading The owner response, I change my rating from 4 to 1 star.I did not request anything free Because I am Jewish. I chose Star over Town Fair Tire because Star is Jewish-owned and I believe in working with the Tribe as a preference when possible.I expected Free Balancing because that is what I was told, as I stated in my review, when I purchased the snow tires 2 years ago.After seeing the response from the Owner, I believe that both parties would have a more pleasant life if I took my business elsewhere. Which I will do immediately.As I said, what goers around, comes around.I will avoid STAR TIRE and take my business to a facility tat understands Customer Service and integrity: Costco and BJs, both less that 10 minutes from my place.The owners response refers to Colorado. I dont know what point they are trying to make or refer to.

Went in for a Rubber valve stem replacement. Was in and out in under 20 mins. The boss wouldn’t let me carry the tire back to my car my self either she had someone help me even though I could have done it my self. Very polite and very professional!

Last year before my birthday my back tires was constantly going flat. They ordered my size and told me it arrives next day. I needed to fly out the following day though. Once i told them this they promised to get me in and out first thing in the morning and they put me onto snap financing so I wouldn’t end up spending extra money out my pocket before my trip.I recently ended up getting some work done on my tie rods and ball joints and was told i needed new tires so i drove all the way back to this location because I remember how they held me down in the past. I live all the way in Hartford!

I purchase 4X from this place all over 1K each transaction..... Every time I come here everyone is unorganized, all over the place, very unprofessional, and take forever to get the job done! .. My car needed tires and I was referred by Norman Stewart to Star. I am 74 years old and a woman, which made me vulnerable to being over charged for service. When I was greeted by a friendly staff, I relaxed a little. It was the young woman who provided me with a selection of tires. I felt she was allowed me to think about it, before I made my selection, never feeling pressured. She provided me with the information regarding your SNAP program. The men were gentlemen, which I appreciated. They made my nightmare, a happy event and relieved my stress. I will refer people to you in the future.

I got new brakes and pads for my front tires on 2/2019 and they have started to squeak again a few months after the one year warranty ran out. I will go somewhere else for brakes and get something with a lifetime a warranty on them. The service and everything was good.

A very good place to buy your tires. Unfortunately I never had chance to buy them because I could not afford them with the pandemic going on .. But they were very helpful and they have an online shopping website that is quite interesting and quite helpful.

I needed a couple of tires for the Volvo Wagon and Star Tire Associates were very friendly helpful and I was in and out in less than an hour. Ive been going there for years and I go back again.

They were professional, and due to the nature of my requested service (just a quick single tire mount) they were able to fit me in quick and I was in and out in 20 minutes max.

Meeting with the owner and staff as a new employee It seems as if everyone is very nice. Ive worked only one shift but from what Ive seen everyone is very professional and takes the time to do things right. They offer a wide variety of wheels and tires amd many services to vehicles. Could use some updating to the interior and lobby... new paint/revamped as things look a bit dated other than that the service is second to none. Soon will be offered complete custom and one off rims with the help of new CNC machines.

I got a flat tire on my way to work and I needed it to be fixed as quick as possible. Star tires was the closest place so I pulled in. They were able to help me right away. They were super nice and prices were great. They seemed like they really just wanted to help me and they didnt try to sell me on any unnecessary services. I would definitely recommend coming here!!!

Not very honest. I went there to fix a flat tire. My tire is new with just 10k miles on it. But the guy told me they cant fix the tire because its too close to the side. But, in my understanding, it wasnt that close. It was about an inch farther from the side.Another repair shop fixed it without any problem.I have left the picture of the tire after the repair with this review. People, you decide if it was unrepairable. The little patch you will see in the photo is the place where the nail damage was.When something is broken, how hard you try it wont be the same as the new one. There are always risks associated with that. And, customers too have to be aware of that. But, it doesnt mean that you refuse to fix the thing when you have a business of fixing things. It will be just a strategy of selling a new one.Update: Its been nine months and the tire they refused to repair is still working excellent.
