Purchased in September of 2020. Gave me a battery that wouldnt hold a charge. I bought a new battery, they reimbursed me! Had issues with a fuse for the battery. Was told I should carry extra at all times which is fine. So far, 2 - 30amp fuses later Im still curious what the problem is. Winterized it and well see what spring brings! So used 2 times, and its a 2021. I have to haul it 90 ml. to have maintenance done. Also my new equalizer hitch wasnt set up correctly!! Not impressed!!!

My husband and I purchased our first camper from Kenny in Fargo. He was very knowledgeable and very patient with all our questions. He was also very thorough with us going through all the different options on our camper. I would definitely buy from them again. Highly recommend.

Typically has great deals on campers and a good selection of parts. Service is crazy expensive as well as parts. They wanted over 600 dollars for a new hot water heater, got the same thing online for 316.00.

I want to start this review by saying our sales rep JC was great (he did nothing wrong)he was very helpful with us getting our first camper and were happy to be working with him. Now lets get to it.We purchased our camper July 27th. Being used we were told it would need to be looked at after we purchased it for a once over from their shop (otherwise we could skip it and save like $400)being new camper owners we say no we want it looked over to make sure everything works. Ok sounds great! It gets into the shop the 31st I believe. We never get an update call so I call JC. JC checks and lets us know it needed something (told us the shop didnt say what,so he assumes it is something very minor) should only take a week or so, again great. A week goes by and we here nothing so I call. On this call I am told that it needed springs to the loft. (rare camper, patented springs etc) this does sounds minor to us. The parts had to be ordered and made to order but would be in by August 17th or 18th and only a day to install from there, now we are going on 3 weeks...whatever if it needs to get fixed well it has to be done, and they were going to fix the one water damaged panel since they have to, to fix the springs.So the 18th rolls around I have not gotten a call if the parts have come in, so I call that Tuesday morning at 10:04am. The guy I spoke with told me nothing had been ordered and he had no idea what was going on with it! I get a call back saying they were not able to call the parts place due to issues with the parts places phone number....for 5 days?!?!? But magically they were ordered before he called me back with an update...super suspicious and sounds like someone dropped the ball and literally forgot to order them!Sooo all along the springs had not been ordered and we were not updated,more time WASTED!! My husband at this point gives them a call. The guy on the phone then says that the camper was in fact ready to go but their cleaners broke the springs by over extending it or something and that it fell on one of their guys...WHAT?! WHY was this NEVER told to us!!! The sales manager says its not their fault....are you kidding me they are your cleaners (or contracted under your care)!! Whatever it gets fixed over a month from when we bought it and 2 weeks past when we were told we should have it.When purchased it we paid an extra $400 to have it transported to their Clearwater location so we wouldnt have to make the long 6 hours to pick it up. Get the call the 24th that is done and ready to go to Clearwater, I ask to get a call once its there. I get the call the 25th its ready to be picked up. Due to work schedules I go to pick it up the 27th. My husband calls Clearwater to let them know I am on the way....Clearwater tells him its not there!!!! They knew nothing about us coming!! I dont get this message from my husband until I am pulling in 50 mins from home. So of course I am fuming! I walk in and the Clearwater guys tell me never mind they have it...Fargo just never called to let them know, and these are the words said to me,Fargo must of snuck it into our back lot and didnt tell anyone(while shaking head). The only guy there is their finance guy so he doesnt know how to help us get the stabilizer hitch on. Lucky I brought my class A driving friend so between the two of us we got it figured out.O and today I call to find out the status on getting our lisence plate... it wasnt filed with the DMV until August 25th....so you guys know the DMV has been behind yet you wait 4 weeks to even submit it...come on!Our biggest thing is the complete and utter disrespect for not communicating with us at all !! They also straight out LIED TO US, TWICE!!! We were not offered anything for all the hassle and headaches either! At least they were consistent in not even communicating with their other location. I would never ever ever recommend anyone get their RV at this location.

I will recommend outlet Recreation to NO ONE!!Our salesman Brandon was very friendly and tried!But when it came to upper management, absolutely hopeless!!We purchased a camper from them in late July and were told it was 100% ready to go and was ran through the shop and PDIed.It was anything but that, we did the paperwork on the camper on a Saturday afternoon and left it sit on the lot so we could do some school shopping in Fargo.We then picked the camper up after hours.On the drive home realized that the brakes on the camper were not working.Then the next day we proceeded to work on the so called ready to go camper for 6 hrs fixing a wide variety of items.On Monday when I called to discuss the list of issues that I had with the unit I was reminded that I bought a used camper!Yes I did buy a used camper!But my question is are used 31 campers from a dealer not supposed to have working brakes??When you pay over $20,000 for a camper I would at least think you would get that much!Later that week I spoke to the salesmanager.He said he would put a smile on mine and my wifes faces before we were all said and done.WE ARE NOT SMILING!!!Outlet Recreation in Fargo seems like a large dealership wanting to sell a large volume of product and not care about customer service!!I will never buy anything from them ever again

In May, I had reached out to look at a specific camper and left a message for a call back from the same sales person that had just sold my parents their camper the day before. We put in a finance application online while waiting for a call back on the camper that we were interested in. We get a call back from the sales person the following day as he was out of the office. He sets up an appointment for us to come in to look at the camper. Within 30 minutes after the call ended, we received another phone call from a different person stating that there was a deal made after hours and the camper was no longer available. I was irritated, but asked for a call back from the original sales person to look at other options. We have yet to get a phone call back which is just bad customer service. Based on the reviews and my parents experience so far with their camper, I feel we may have dodged a bullet.

The wife and I had been looking for a camper for a few weeks, unfortunately we couldnt quite find the exact camper we were looking for within reasonable distance, but we found one that came extremely close. Erica was our sales lady and she was very nice and extremely easy to work with. Erica went as far as working with us completely over the phone since we live in the minot area. She updated us frequently and went well above and beyond her duties as a sales associate often contacting us well after business hours which realy shows her dedication to the company. 100% recommend this place and 150% recommend talking to Erica!

Scheduled a boat pickup. They had been storing it for the winter. I rented a trailer and scheduled a pickup of the boat. They had no clue where the boat was and bounced me to three locations. Less than helpful. They’re so big that they can’t keep track of things and give you a clueless look when you just want to know where your stuff is.

Mike and Austin gave us great service. We love the park model we purchased. I highly recommend Outlet Recreation for your vacationing needs!

This place has nice campers. But doing business like services, insurance paperwork, and trade ins are a big headache. I will Not buy from them again.

We love looking through the units envisioning some great camping adventure.

Used this company for winterization, wrapping, and storage of a wake boarding boat. They were happy to seal and store the boat with my payment; however, when we went to pick it up several months later, we were told we would have to pay $200 to clear their lot of snow. We refused. Upon arrival, the boat was accessible and able to be removed without their assistance. Once we retrieved the boat and unwrapped it, we found damage to the tower speakers that impact their usability. We are still in the process of uncovering the boat but are sincerely disappointed in the quality of care and attitude towards storing our property.Update: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We contacted the after finding that our boat speakers were damaged and broken off (wires snapped). We were told this must’ve happened in transit and had nothing to do with where they’d serviced and wrapped the boat. Property was DAMAGED unapologetically.

We want to give a 5 star review to Outlet Recreation. We just recently bought our 2nd camper through them & had a great experience. The saleswoman Lynn was great. The financing gentleman Trevor was outstanding. We also had some issues with a former camper - and Becky in service helped us out a lot with that and helped us with our decisions. I just want to let them know that they all have done a great job for us and we really appreciate them. It is pretty hit and miss here to find good customer service. Often times when I ask a question of someone, they dont know and dont ever offer to find someone that may know. They have a lot of stuff there but good luck finding the right person to help you.

Very friendly and helpful staff

Came here for my first permanent fish house, they had a used 2008 ice castle which was set up exactly how I wanted it, I had Greg as a salesman, he was a very nice guy! Financing was a breeze. Had to wait a week for pick up so the service guys could clean it up a bit and check to make sure everything was working as it should, turns out the ac unit was bad and had to be replaced, I didnt even get a phone call! They replaced it at NO cost to me. He shared that news to me when I went for pick up, got it home safe and sound, I did have an issue with my jack, the snap ring was almost off so when i put weight on jack it started to fall off, very easy fix, 100 will back in the future for my next purchase!

Absolutely worst company to deal with! Bought a used camper that they said 100% ready to go after I looked at it, turns out they DUCKTAPED the hoods instead of replacing them, so it ruined the brand new mattress I had put in it, it had a water leak I wasn’t told about, had to drive back TWICE (hour one way) to have them fix these issues. Now my AC won’t work so I called to ask how to trouble shoot why it just all of a sudden quit working, and the service rep was absolutely horrible. I will never suggest or refer anyone to buy a camper from them.

Purchased a pontoon from Brian and he was great to work with. Answered all my questions, was on top of making sure I received what I wanted, and I cant thank you enough for putting a beautiful pontoon on our lake to enjoy it with family. Thanks again, Bryan. You did a great job.

This is a decent place to look for trailers but we were looking for class a motorhomes and they did not have any selection. We looked around for a little bit but we were not interested in the things that they had. You can get a wide range of new and used trailers here.

Purchased an Ice Castle from Matt Martodam and he was very well versed on all of the product knowledge and extremely helpful with the delivery and product demonstration. Highly recommend Matt for any and all of your recreational needs!

Would have been a 5 star rating if the customer service even came close to friendly. Bought my camper from them. They have most everything one could need as far as camper supplies goes. And every time I go back for something I hope that the staffs attitude will have improved but, it never does.

Was looking for a part for my old pop up camper. Didnt purchase the camper from outlet but they had the part. Called a few places is town and they were the only one that had it. Guy at the parts counter was nice and it was a quick and easy transaction. Part worked perfectly.

We had some damage done to our camper so we took it here to get fixed. It took them over 2 months to fix it and they never called us to update us on what was taking so long, we had to call them to find out. Once they finally started to fix it they found out that there was more damage than they originally estimated ($2,700 more). They went and fixed everything first instead of checking with us or our insurance company which has prolong the process even more. Also, we had asked them to check our wheel bearings when we dropped it off. Again, they went and fixed those before checking with us and wanted to charge us $300 for something we NEVER ok’d. After talking to a manager about everything they eventually agreed to refund us a portion of our money.

Worse customer service ever!!!! Called on Friday to make sure our camper was accessible for pick up on Sunday and when we got here it was parked way in the back of customer drop off and blocked off! What a waste of a 3 hrs drive ! Their service department is so rude!

Our family has purchased 2 Tige boats from the Detroit Lakes branch and Josh was great to deal with. They also have been servicing our Forest River RV. We have had two different dealers do warranty work in the past, but this is the best work I have seen. They have a tech named Matt who has been to recent training on new systems, and even came out to the cabin to help diagnose an issue. They handled the warranty issues and have had the unit read to roll when we needed it. I hope this great service continues after our factory warranty runs out. It is refreshing to see a dealership that actually seems to care and not just park your rig out back and never call you.

Bought a brand new 2018 Innsbruck camper last fall. The first weekend I had it at the lake it rained and ruined the complete front end of my camper. They came out and fixed it. Which was great! But why is my brand new camper leaking? Then about a week later the fireplace went out and wouldn’t work. Which they came out and fixed! Which was great. But why is my fireplace not working in a brand new camper after the first week!? Then they took it and stored it for me over the winter because they had to change out everything in the front end. Which was great. But then I went to pick it up in the spring, and noticed dents and a big scrape. They said someone must have hit it when it was stored. And they offered to fix it. Then I get it out to my campground and notice my toilet is leaking there is a huge creek in the floor one of the ceiling openings is falling off and my fireplace does not work again and it’s leaking thru my cable antenna. So my wife calls BECKY the service manager which tells her that they will get someone out there in a week or two, well this is mid May. It is now the end of July and still no one has been out! I still have all the same problems that are all covered under warranty. I’ve called numerous times and I keep getting the run around. Still have no date for a tech to come out. BECKY has been nothing but rude and has not helped in the slightest. I have asked if I could trade it in on another model same price and was told no because they are all made on assembly lines and all have problems that why there is a warranty so they can fix everything before it’s up. Which is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I am on a campground where everyone has a new camper! And none of them have had any problems like we have had. Outlet is by far the worst place I have ever bought anything from in my life!!! I will never buy another thing from there!! And will make sure I let everyone in my campground and everyone I know to stay far far away from that place! My cousin works for pleasure land in grand forks and says they would never treat a customer this way! I can’t believe I can spend over 20k there and I am being treated like this! Worst place I have ever been. Will not be coming back when I upgrade in the future!! You have lost my business and will make sure you will loose more by word of mouth as my wife does marketing for a living. I wish I could have given a good review.

Bought a 2year used camper and everything we wanted checked. Got it and used the toilet was plugged called and said take a stick and try to unplug it. Hot water didnt work. Kitchen sink was broke . bathroom door handle was bad. Paid 300 $ to block it. Said if it settled would redo it in spring. Called 3 times. Would get back to us by the end of the day. No one called back yet.

Bought a camper and was not impressed with buying process and the service afterwards. We had a problem with one of the blinds in the bedroom. Brought the blind in to have it fixed an outlet rec lost the blind. They had no record of the blind be brought in and had no idea where it was at. Initially helpful but when trying to order another blind would not return phone calls. I wont be a repeat customer.

Just bought out first Airstream in January from Outlet Recreation (Ken was our salesperson) and we had a great experience. I received excellent communication from Ken, and he set up delivery/meeting for us in Indiana (half way home) where we picked it up, and with all the necessary paperwork in hand we headed home. And yesterday I received the replacement lens covers for the ceiling lights that were either missing or cracked. And don’t forget the starter package that was left for us to begin our adventures in Airstream camping. I would definitely do business with Outlet Recreation again and hope to make North Dakata a stopping place while traveling in that area. Give them a chance and be patient…..you’re not the only customer they have to please.

We just went to trade in the 2009 5th wheel we purchased just four months ago, and found out that two of the four slides had soft rotted spots. The back wall was also rotted three feet up. The value of the unit dropped $3000 in four months. Unless you walk the roof line, check the caulking on every seam, check the slides for rotting and check the walls for soft spots you may find yourself in our boots. We are not happy campers😡😠

My sales person, Lynn Monson, was excellent before during and after the sale. Even answered an email 3 weeks after the sale at 2200 hours when I was having trouble with my furnace. Was not expecting a reply until the next day!
