Prices are about the same as the grocery stores. There are almost too many employees, but they do keep it well stocked. Its a busy store but usually not crowded. They dedicate too much space to alcohol and cigarettes. They also sell lottery items there - good place to go if you have a lot of tickets to cash in(it would be nice if our lottery sold winning tickets).

I shop here multiple times a week and I just want to say the young man named Clay that works there is the nicest most helpful young man. He always helps me find things and will even sometimes push my cart for me. He is a great kid. I drive further to this store just because Clay works here. I hope he gets recognized for his hard work. Thank you Clay! And keep up the hard work. There is also a older short dark-haired woman that works there I believe her name is Alice she is very rude to me every time I go in there for some odd reason even though I am always very polite and try to crack a joke to enlighten her. She almost seems to follow me around the store like I’m going to steal something even though my outfit is worth more than her two week paycheck. Not trying to brag but I don’t get why this lady has such an attitude and I’ve seen it with other customers too. I hope I have her name right, she is a manager I believe

The selection is NOT what you are used to if you normally shop at the full sized Hy-Vee or drug store. They seem to have lots of odds and ends that you wouldnt expect, but you really have to look for them. Always end up leaving mostly satisfied with what they had on my list. I would recommend as far as location and staff.

It was really nice, very clean. It was my first time . I am new to this area, it felt good to have a place close to my apartment to get groceries.Thank you for reminding me if my Hy-Vee Perks membership.It the best choose U have ever made .The best money spent ! I am very satisfied with my Hy-Vee Perks membership.

The staff here are always friendly and helpful... even during this time of the pandemic. The location is so convenient and the ability run in and grab just about anything, you would find in a regular-sized grocery store... makes this place essential.

Staff is nice at this location...however i bought coleslaw mix there and went to use it as soon as I got home and it was spoiled :-(

Great store, we refer to it as the little HyVee as it has just about everything the big stores do, just with less brand selection or quantities. Staff is always pleasant and store is clean and well stocked.

They never cease to amaze me at how much they have there that I can avoid going to the regular store!

Hy Vee Drugtown is my choice for groceries and just about anything else I need!!!

Not one shopping lane that is anything but self-checkout. If you’re interested in waiting for others to finish scanning and bagging their own groceries and you have the time to wait awhile for the one worker available to help you when you need it, shop here. They need to at least change HALF of their lane back to a cashier.

This Hyvee Pharmacy is good. There are a few people in the pharmacy that are not friendly. The rest of the staff are great; the store is clean and well maintained.

This place is just down the street, and a little neighborhood gem! They are so kind and helpful, and have such a great selection of all the basics a large grocery store would have just in a much smaller scale!

Never answer phones and very rarely have my meds ready when they call me to say theyre ready. When I have to walk to the store, thats wasting a lot of my time.

I used to shop here all the time. I went into the store today and went to check out to see that it is 100% self check out. I don’t understand why this was a decision but it wasn’t a good one. An older woman at the self check out in front of us was struggling with very little help from staff. I had multiple things from produce that I was struggling to find and had an employee start helping me and after 1 thing was rung up (I had 4 different produce items) he said sorry I need to go help someone else. I don’t think this is efficient and self check out should be there as an option not the only option. Employees are hired and paid for being cashiers/baggers. I am not.

The best neighborhood store! Prices are largely the same as a full-sized Hy-Vee, but the store is smaller making it easy to do a quick shopping or pick up a couple of items you need. They do have a pharmacy with a drive-through of you need it. Considering the size they have a large selection, big alcohol section and fresh fruits and vegetables the staff is great and you can use your Hy-Vee rewards card just like any other store.

Run out of hand sanitizing wipes often. Some are flirty to my so right in front of me, unprofessional and made us both very uncomfortable and was just awkward. Some lack communication skills and basic manners. Should always check eggs and ask if milk needs to be bagged. I get weird looks while coming here. Not coming back.

A convenient place to stop off for last minute groceries. Obviously not as well stocked as a regular HyVee but is quite helpful if you need something basic. Its possible to be in and out in under 5 minutes. The produce section is kinda hit or miss so you cant plan on the having a particular item on any given day. For what it is though, a small corner store, it does a great job. Definitely better selection and prices than a gas station.

Pharmacy: EVERY month there is a problem. A prescription not on the list to be refilled, doctor needs to approve refill but didnt know about this until attempting to pay, auto refill did not pick up this or that prescription. Every month its something. I have to keep a list of prescriptions to ensure all have been filled, and have to maintain a calendar to ensure prescriptions are filled in time. Sometimes an excuse, sometimes an apology, but most often they simply ignore the customer - never take the opportunity to improve. Sadly, Wal-marts pharmacy is more attentive.

Lots of reviews about how this Hy-Vee is small and has a horrible selection....um, thats by design? If it had all the selection of a big Hy-Vee then it would be a big Hy-Vee. If you are looking for the selection of a big Hy-Vee goto a big Hy-Vee. If you are in your pajamas at 8AM and need a gallon of milk but dont want to run into everyone, this Hy-Vee is for you.

Pharmacy staff are always extremely helpful, and there doesn’t ever seem to be much of a wait for picking up prescriptions. The drive thru pharmacy is a plus.
