I gave these guys a call after seeing all the positive reviews on google. They deserve every bit of it. I called to get a quote, they had the tires in the next day. I showed up, got them changed, and the price was quite a bit more than what the quote was. The person the quoted it wasn’t in that day, but I called back the next day and it was resolved right away. They did great work, quickly resolved the pricing issue, and Jack was just a great guy to have a conversation with while the work was being done. Highly recommend!

They went out of their way to be extra helpful to fix my Jeep. Didnt try to over charge me, or get me to fix things that it didnt need. If anything...they didnt charge me for some of the work, because it was inexpensive to them, and my bill was already so high. My whole family brings our vehicles here now...and NOWHERE else...

I have a unique car (tesla model x) that uses unique tires that aren’t anywhere in town. These guys went out of their way to not only rush the tires into the shop but also fit me in even though they were extremely busy. They showed me everything along the way and could not have been more professional and efficient. Highly recommend and will be back.

Great place, had 4 new tires put on with an alignment and oil change. They did all this is 1 and 1/2 hours. It was done correctly and Im extremely satisfied. I will recommend these guys to anyone. Thanks Freedom Tire.

Amazing customer service. I went in there with my fat tire for my bicycle that I was trying to seat to the rim. I have seated it in the past at home with my little air compressor and even tried the local service station, but could not get it to seat. As a last ditch effort I stopped in to ask of they could help me out. Not only did they seat a bicycle tire for me, they didnt charge me anything to do it.

The staff at Freedom Tire is very informative and honest about what is wrong with your vehicle. They do not recommend unessessary service and always keep the customers budget in mind. They perform good service on all of my vehicles. The work is performed timely and correctly the first time. I do not hesitate to refers others to their shop.

This place is a joke and you should not waste your time.I’ve taken 2 different cars to this place to have the “oil changed” by them. The first car I took there, they got me with an add-on…stupid me but I understand everyone needs to make a profit. They also gave me a quote of a list of things that needed to be done to my car. I know it wasn’t in the best of shape but $2000 for stuff that didn’t need to be fixed is ridiculous. I took a second car there while the other was being repaired (for an issue that was NOT on their quote) and they told me that my rear brakes didn’t work. They gave me an obscene quote of over $1500 just to replace the brakes. This car wasn’t mine so I let the owners know and they told me they would take care of it. I proceeded to drive the car knowing the brakes were faulty. I took the car in again to have a second oil change because I was passed due. They gave me another quote for just over $1000 saying I needed a sensor for my oil or something and sway bar links (which was not on the first quote) and said my rear brakes were FINE!! What the hell?! You just told me 3 months ago that I was in desperate need of new rear brakes and I didn’t change them?

They give great customer service! As someone on a fixed income I appreciate getting a reasonable cost on repairs plus their prioritizing the things that need to be immediately fixed and those I can save for. I always recommend them to friends.

I had an appointment at 11:00 this morning to get new tires. I showed up early, they got me in and I was done and home in under an hour. The cost was what tbey had told me on the phone, to the penny, and everyone was friendly and did a great job. I highly recommend this store.

Mark the manager was incredibly rude to me on the phone. He told me I didn’t know what I was talking about, even though I worked as a mechanic intern for 3 years. He told me he was too busy deal with me and hung up on me. I promptly went into the store to find him speaking with another customer and making jokes at my expense. I asked the other associate if they could please reset my tire pressure sensors. They checked the pressure and told me that they would attempt to reset sensors, but were unable to. All in all, I felt disrespected as a woman and a customer. I own my own business and I would never hang up on a customer. Let alone act like they don’t know what they’re talking about.

My husband and I always come here to have our tires changed. We both have snow and ice tires on during the winter and once spring arrives we come here to change to summer. Great service every time! The only thing I wish was to be able to purchase bottled water, since one might get a little thirsty during the wait.

Appreciate their willingness to explain any issues and work with us for affordable pricing.

I take all my cars here, and have never had any issues with them. They are always fast, professional, and explain any issues the car is having. I will be dropping my car off later today and I know I will get it back in better shape than when I dropped it off!

Very friendly service and saved me a ton of money!

I bought tires recently for my 2005 Tucson. The mechanic said I needed brakes. When the service manager gave me the estimate, the charge was over $900. He then pressured me to do the work right away. I told him Id have a second opinion first, since Ive used Terrys Auto Service in Urbandale since the 70s. He said, fine, go ahead. Terry charged me a little over $300. They just laughed when I showed them the estimate from Freedom tire on Grand in West Des Moines. Not all that work was necessary. Now I just got another recommendation to replace a power steering hose when I took the car back for 6000 warranty tire rotation. They also stripped out a lug nut and I had to come back the next day for the replacement. My wife had the same experience: Freedom recommended brake repair, Terry said, not necessary. I caution anyone using these guys to get a second opinion.

I visited Goodyear a couple of weeks ago thinking I needed new brakes. The manager Mark told me that I was nowhere near in need of brakes and did not want to make me buy something I didnt need. I highly recommend this place.

I was worried when during a blizzard my low tire pressure light came on--Im still realtively new the area and didnt know which tire places I could trust but I drove to Freedom Tire because they were close.The guys assured me my tires were only losing air due to the cold temps and filled them all at no charge.They easily could have taken advantage of the situation and tried to sell me new tires I didnt need but instead they helped me even though it meant no profit for them. This may not seem like much, but I know for sure where Ill be buying new tires when I do need them!

Free diagnosis for TPMS issues. Everywhere else I asked it was a minimum of $79 to do an electrical system check.Havent had to do any other work at this shop but will definitely come back for any tire related issues!
