After visiting the other Best Buy in West Des Moines, our hopes were not high for getting any assistance from associates. We were pleasantly surprised, the employees here were extremely helpful and informative. We told the guy in appliances what we were looking for and he helped us find the best solution.. He did not try to upsell us or make us buy any unnecessary things, but did suggest a few parts we might want in correlation with our washer and dryer purchase. You wouldnt think of best buy being a good place to buy appliances, but it certainly is. They had great prices, wide selection, free delivery, and helpful workers.
Best Buys selection of electronics and media has dwindled over the years, I cant seem to find many of the things I would pay a premium to find at a place like best buy. Its a shame, because I love the idea of being able to buy same day as opposed to using Amazon, but Best Buy has the worst buy in terms of pricing, and very little merchandise to select from.
I went in to purchase laptop and a television. Sydney and Zane gave me A+ customer service.They both were knowledgeable and very helpful. My experience was great and I am greatly pleased with my purchases.

If I could give them a zero I would have. I bought an item a year ago, never opened it up, had the receipt and they would not give me my money back even though they were still selling the item. I hate Best buys and will never shop there for anything. Just remember if you do go there dont plan on returning anything .
The visit at the store was fine, but when I called to make appointment to take my iPad in, I was waiting on the phone 20 minutes then it disconnected. I tried on line but it said my email wasnt right. I have had the same email for over 20 years. Not happy

Came in to get a new phone Royce was beyond helpful. He greeted me at the door and walked me through the whole process. He was able to answer all my questions. Had me all set to go before I left the store!
I had an appointment here with Geek Squad to install a new car stereo in my old car. They did a fantastic job!!! My car is old but has an audiophile sound system and this new stereo makes it sound just perfect. They installed it just right and in just 45 minutes!!! Also, the overall customer service was great!!!
A pretty standard Best Buy location. The staff is usually helpful, the selection of items on display is good, and its nice to be able to see things in person before purchasing if you have questions. I like that Best Buy has started carrying more cameras and lenses; the prices are competitive with specialized camera shops most anywhere in the U.S.
The people in their are very helpful and polite.i go in their once a week almost just to look around at stuff I cant buy.

Absolutely love this Best Buy at Jordan Creek! Staff is outstanding, extremely helpful, friendly and willing to go the extra mile to be sure that youre happy with your visit. They are not pushy and even assist you in price matching if youre trying to do so through amazon or Newegg. Cant say enough about how great the staff is!!! The days of me shopping online to buy expensive electronics are finished. Best Buy has better rewards, a better experience, simple returns with the best price you will find.

Stood at the automotive counter for over 20 minutes trying to buy a $600 radar detector that was locked up asked for help got the good ol “I’ll get someone for you” waited another 10 minutes then I left never had any help ordered it on Amazon. Store had maybe 15 customers in it so a total of 30 minutes of waiting is crazy.
Getting help is not so easy. You have to sign up with your smart phone and get in queue to get any help, and the person you get may not know anything about what you are needing help with.
This bb does a good job being organized and well inventoried. Great job guys.

Its nice to be able to walk into a store sometimes and look at a working model before you buy particularly electronics. That bring said, Best Buy is usually sold out of what Im looking for. Apparently they dont keep much inventory and if you do find what you want then try to price match. Overall they are easy to do business with.
It was my first time in a Best Buy since the pandemic. I was impressed by their selection and layout of the store.

Really random experience. Store was super disorganized & more than half of the items we looked at did not have prices in slot or in frames above. Seriously more than half- what gives? No one offered to help us so we left & made purchase elsewhere.
Their customer service has really gone down big time. They didnt know how some benefits are applied or worked, like the student discount. Definitely sticking to ordering online from other companies from now on, customer service is way better and they seem more knowledgeable about their products.

Been here twice. First visit the employee wasn’t helpful and wasn’t answering our questions. Second visit it was severely understaffed and when we asked employees for help we were ignored or told they would call someone but no one ever came. We waited for 30 minutes before someone finally helped us. Do not recommend this store at all... The one on university avenue is way better. Will not be going to this one again.
If you need something, you can probably find it here. If youre willing to look around, you can most likely find a better deal elsewhere. But this company usually has what I need in stock and staff tends to be knowledgeable.
In and out very quickly since I knew what I was getting but the service was great and theyre doing a great job with safety due to Covid.

The prices are a premium, but youre most likely able to find what you need. Today (Oct. 8) they had almost no cell phones, but Im not concerned about that, as new shipments come in weekly.My first spot if I need something today and willing to pay a wee bit more.
My daughter needed a new laptop. They werent busy at all for Black Friday which is sad! We got the cutest and most helpful associate named Dante! He had a nice smile and made our shopping experience easy!

Stand and wait for someone to come unlock the item you want. Go to the customer service to have someone sent to help you, stand and wait even longer. Someone else finally got a person after about 30 minutes

I bought a Sony TV and speaker from Best Buy Mills civic West Des Moines, a BestBuy agent informed me about payment plan and convinced me to take 24 months payment plan, I wanted to get 5% rewards offer and I was informed that you would get it either way and he added that it usually takes 15 days before one could see it! I took the offer and when I noticed no rewards points three weeks past purchased I called Best Buy credit card/Citi bank and was suggested to visit Best Buy that I did and was perplexed with the attitude of the staff, have been with Best Buy for more than 6 years and never had such a disgusting experience what I had in that particular branch, they disregarded all my requests and said they can’t do anything. I will never visit that store again!
Way better than Apple Store!Daughters I phone XR not working, called Apple, went online, and went to store - but no help at all. Went to Apple store - and they turned us away! So......drove from Mall over to Best Buy - walked up & asked for new I phone deals - Offered $300 for phone & he found an additional $140 trade deal from best buy - yes $440 for used phone that sells for $500 - great deal & was able to trade up to I phone 12... and the tech at Best Buy handled everything!! Swapped sim, backed up & reloaded phone and offered advice on new features.... awesome!

This store is alright. Not a huge selection, they didnt have what I was seeking, and the employees are as finicky as deer. (Be careful not to spook em) Overall positive experience though.

Multiple calls with the 800 number, more than 5 hang-ups. Multiple contacts with the store and no one knows how to fix the scheduling and delivery and installation issues for the $4000 in appliances. we ordered Memos on the order notated but apparently deleted or missing. Lots of promises made, and none kept.Very poor service on the part of 800 Best Buy and the corporate office support staff. The store seems to be at a loss, and the staff was generally nice (Dakota, Josh, the store manager) but either didnt have the authority, ability, or knowledge of how to fix the issues. With no support the store is a lone island that cannot assist their customers.Very poor experience all around.
I was met at the front door and asked what I wanted when I told them the person directed me straight to that area where I believe he radioed another sales person that was there waiting for me when I arrived to that department. I was able to purchase what I wanted in a short time I was very little contact with anyone else

When you dont want to purchase items you get a lot of best buy seller coming to you, but when you want to buy there are no best buy persons to help you out.
Went in to look at laptops, specifically the new Microsoft Surfacebook 3 that was released in May 2020. After looking around for a while, a staff person finally asked me what I was looking for and asked if i needed help. I said the surface book 3, (the staff that helped me didn’t even know that a new surface book had been released, (working in an electronics store...and doesn’t even know that a new version was released?! Anyway he showed me to the surface book 2.) Only one size, and configuration on display, and I wasn’t very pleased. After showing the surface book 2, he said he would look if he could sell me the surface book 3. (Even though it’s not on display) The sales person wasn’t very pleasant to talk with, and seemed irritated and a bit annoyed. . Very disappointed in this Best Buy store and will be going to a different one next time. Given that they always have the latest Apple products on display and don’t have the latest surface book 3, I was overall very disappointed.

Went to the Best Buy at Jordan Creek near my house to purchase everything I needed for my new home. I went to the customer service desk to inquire about a store credit card and spoke with a bearded gentleman who said he was the manager. This guy had to be the most rude and condescending person I’ve ever spoke with. I had to just walk away. Use a professional audio/video company. These people are not it. Also, they had virtually nothing on their shelves and look like they’re going out of business.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Needed to pick an item up and return another, both easy transactions.
Too much wait time. Regestered my name to visit, waited for 45 mins in car.. Then went back and asked they said sometime sms sending has some issues.. If sms confirmation had issues they should implement call facility.

We went in to help our daughter decide on a smartphone between the iPhone 12 Pro or Samsung note 20. After waiting our turn to be waited on, the man said he really couldn’t tell us about either phone. Left way disappointed!!!
Brother needed a new fridge. Best Buy wanted to charge $150.00 for delivery and would not put in the ice maker unless they delivered it. We said by and got a better deal at Lowes.
Low stock levels. TV I was looking at was out of stock. Could order for home or store delivery in a week.

Had to set up an appointment for mobile phone upgrade, but despite Corona craziness, it went smoothly. The manager of the dept helped me and was super friendly and made the process go smoothly without a hitch. Kind of enjoyed the by appt. Process versus standing and waiting like traditional experience.
Asked an employee for help and he radioed for assistance. Waited for 15 minutes and no help. While walking out we see 3 workers walking around the front of the store.
Just wanted to ask someone if they could track my credit card because the worker said it would be on week. Now it’s been two weeks just sat on hold for 20min could even talk to anyone...Thanks Best Buy!
We drove 3 hours for an out of box TV which saved almost a third of the cost and it was in perfect condition. All staff were helpful and wearing masks, even helped us load the tv that barely fit in the car. Totally worth the drive!

I was looking at putting up a mesh Wi-Fi router system. The sales associate assisting us in the router area is very helpful and friendly. Toilets for the money the orbi by Netgear seem to be the best bang for the buck. message systems are not cheap but they are well worth it in terms of coverage. This router actually covers about the maximum distance it was rated for which is 8000 ft. Very pleased with the product and the assistance at Best Buy.
2 hours on hold for an issue regarding their product that was purchased just to be told to take it to the store for an exchange. Finding out info that was giving on the phone was wrong and the problem could have been taken care of at home if given the correct Info. Store excuse was we have 1 person answering phones for the district.
