8/12/21 @ 11:39 am went shopping at 99 cents store in 1516 Amar Rd.West Covina Ca.I always shopped at this store,it’s close we’re I live and they always carries fresh fruits and vegetables.cashier is always friendly and helpful.but today is unfortunate shopping day. at this 99 cents store parking lot.I was rob of my priceless jewelries decades old wedding ring and pinky ring.I was approached by a man and woman driving a brown Mazda SUV out of state lic.plate New York.and the man said his name is Akmed and his wife name is Shaira,she came in my attention because she had a huge bruised in her right eye and face and felt bad for her.she held my hand and crying praying.and not knowing she had removed my jewelries off my fingers.and gave me a small baby sock with something inside.and they drove off like a lightning.as I put my hands in my car steering wheel that’s when I found out my jewelries were gone.I will never shop at this 99 cents store again.the parking area is not safe for customers.sometimes homeless people around and outside vendors rooming the parking area.

It is a great place to buy good things, fresh vegetables and fresh fruits for much less money than you would spend elsewhere. You can find almost anything.

An excellent experience about all the items I need it where I normally pay $4 for one can of rug cleaner I paid $0.99 and the product works just as well as expensive one however I get to do it five times more five going to 99 Cent Store

Our garage door spring broke and we found Precision through Google. They sent a tech to our house the same day. Roy was not only very professional and explained everything very well, but also very nice, courteous, and personable. We chose to replace all moving parts to ensure everything will continue to work properly. I would highly recommend this company.

The cashier was quick in handling my items and happy to help when i had a question. they had enough people available so that a line of customers wouldnt back up. they had what i was looking for in stock. ill be returning to this location soon.

I give the establishment a 5 stars simply because of the improvements Ive seen since the start of coming here. Ive noticed that everything is usually well stocked even when busy. The only down side is how busy it gets. But I cant blame everyone for loving the same store.

My mom always goes here. She goes here for the mangoes but it is hit-and-miss from week to week. Sometimes she is very happy with the selection but some weeks she said they are not very good.

The location is convenient for me but its small and doesnt stalk everything. sometimes I have to go the MacArthur Park store. it has most of what I need. lines arent as bad as bigger stores either. theres that plus. its still good. workers are njce.

They carry a lot of what I need. The employees are very helpful. I deducted one star due to overcrowding. Shopping on the weekends or holidays is not recommended.

If youre at all familiar with 99 Cents Only stores, you know that some are huge and carry a little bit of everything, while others are small and have a couple things you might need here and there. This is definitely the latter, but the staff is pretty cool and that makes up for what they lack in goods.

Small store with long lines and not a big selection of merchandise as other stores from the same chain. The store needs updates and new signage and the neighborhood is somewhat sketchy. Spanish speakers will feel right at home here as it is the main language of the neighborhood.

Staff members are awesome but being this close to an elementary school Id hope that there would be more kids toys than there is.

Lately the store has a lot of great buys right now during Christmas time it has a lot of cool toys for the kids a lot of your Christmas Basic Essentials.

Worst customer service. Given attitude, was told I didnt put a divider to separate mine and ANOTHER customers order. She assumed since the other customer (my daughter) I went together that I would be paying all the items. No. You dont assume about someones purchase. You dont combine the order UNLESS the customer asks you to. And when working woth customers in any store, you are taught that the Customer is ALWAYS RIGHT. You dont continuously correct the customer youre right, especially when the customer isnt giving you attitude and just wants you to fix the mistake as to get the line going for everyone else. What was going to be a simple stop turned into a 10 to 15 minute purchase for ONE of us. In all honestly I wonder how the cashier, Ariel, HASNT been talked to/written up. I work with customers every day, never once have I acted towards a customer like I was talked to today.

Who the manager of the store? My daughter went in to buy some items and the cashier Brain thinks its cute to insult customers. My daughter just got off work and was paying for items separate some for myself and her own items. This happened at 9:01 pm on 8-23-17. Tried to tell the manager in the evening alittle blond lady and she acted like she didnt see nothing and didnt take down the complaint. So going to speak to the manager in the morning. Employee and management shouldnt treat ppl disrespectfully. We all work hard and earn a living, dont insult people and dont say that theyre stealing if theyre separating items on the belt. My mom tried to bring it to Brians attention not to insult people and he acted like he didnt even know me or insult me which made my mom even more upset. Hope this person is talked to by a manager or reprimanded.

Compared to other 99 c stores in California (san diego, Los Angeles & san fransisco), this is the best store I have ever visited. It sells Eddy ice creams (from dreyers company) for only $ 1. It also sells wine which I believe around $3 each bottle (sorry to not put more attention since I dont drink it). In clearance rack, if we have a lucky day, we will get good items in good prices. Clearance bread is $0.25 each bag but they often out of stock. This store is located next to Island pacific, a Philipines supermarket and other grocery store that you need to visit as well but I forget its name.

This store is so messy and the first thing I saw when I came in was cases off eggs on the floor litteraly not even refrigerated just on the floor. The store is so messy with items all over the place. I believe there is another 99 cent store within 1.5 miles away so I suggest to go to another one that is not this one. There is only one cashier so also expect a huge line.
