I’ve always had a great experience at this shop. Ive only been welding for a couple years as i write this and the guys are always ready with solid, encouraging advice and knowledgeable information. Not to mention they always have everything I need. I could go on but the long and short of it it 10/5 stars will buy from here every time.

Chris and John are great to work with. This is a small family run business that has the inventory to take care of large or small. They carry pretty much everything you need for welding supplies. They carry all the consumables for pretty much any type of welder or plasma.

Saturday at 11:35am, we realized we needed a welding torch setup to finish a job. Called up Advanced Welding and spoke with John. I was able to confirm they had welding torches and also tanks so I could get back on the job right away on a Saturday.Arrived shortly before noon and was able to get back to the job shortly after noon. Thanks for the help and crash course on the equipment. Glad to see I can also pick up a new welder and all the supplies at competitive prices, while supporting local businesses. John proved to me that the local shops really do go the extra mile to get you taken care of.

They have any gas you could ever need, from pure Argon to Trimix (90% helium - 7.5% Argon - 2.5% CO2). A huge selection of welders from Eastwood, Miller, and more. They sell CK Worldwide and Weldcote gear too.I was able to set up my HF titanium 200 unlimited to run a Pro grade CK worldwide TIG torch with the supplies they had on the shelf! Highly recommend stopping in and checking their shop out, walk-ins are welcomed like family and the customer service is unmatched.

The best welding store in SE Wisconsin! Just went in for the first time to replace a welder that was stolen and I needed one right away. They had everything I needed. I went on September 13 to pick up a part for my friends welder. Which took a few messages back and forth until he could figure out what I actually needed. It was very helpful to take so much of Duke’s time. But he figured it out and parts were ordered. I ended up leaving with the parts and a new welder as well! Went there today to upgrade to a bigger gas cylinder. Traded in the one I personally owned for a bigger one which I was skeptical if they would even allow. Turns out they did and got everything squared away super quick and easy. Great customer service and will be back there for all of my welding needs in the future!

I called advanced to ask about a specific equipment and Chris answered the call. He took the time to walk through the questions I had about different machines. He provided personal service and was available and knowledgeable to discuss my needs and concerns. Chris was more interested in helping me make the right choice for my needs rather than pushing me to make any random purchase. In today’s world anything can be bought through Amazon all day long but you will not get the quality service and care that you get through a solid family owned business. Went in to grab leads/stinger and some rod for a welder I just purchased. Didnt have too much knowledge in how to set up a welder. Chris took the time to explain everything he was setting me up with, and gave me suggestions and recommendations that really helped. I needed shielding gas for a brazing job I was doing and for a TIG welder I had bought. My LWC around me wanted about $500 on average for a 125 cuft cylinder then I found Advanced Welding Supplies ad online and called them up to make sure the price was correct because it was like half what the others wanted and I have talked both John and Chris and they are extremely polite and answered all my questions I had. And even though it is a 135 mile drive, it is worth it for the great customer service, prices and supporting a family owned business and I will continue to go here for my welding needs.

Kurt was very helpful and didn’t hesitate answering any questions I had. He made suggestions to help maximize my budget which was helpful with being new to welding. His friendliness alone made it worth the trip over from Janesville. I’ll be back for sure.

Ive been to this location a few times now, I live fairly close. Everyone was extremely helpful and willing to give tips to a newbie getting into fabrication. pricing has been great on everything. I was able to exchange an old gas bottle and they kindly ran me through how gas bottle certification and sizing works. If your looking for some help and hardware, I would definitely recommend this location.

And I have a big boy place 5 min away.I bought an Eastwood MIG 135 last month with a tank and wire. Nice machine to work with. I had planned on purchasing a 20cf tank, but for their price (filled bottle) I went with an 80cf. Very glad I did. I own a small fabrication company outside of Chicago. Some of the local vendors dont have what I need when I need it. Its a long haul for me but is make the drive every time to Advanced because of the prompt and friendly service, experience, and professionalism this company brings. If you need anything to do with welding, or plasma cutters this is the place to go. I just started to weld back in January and I had no idea what I was doing, or what I needed to buy.I went to this store, and explained my situation to the owners son and he immediately showed me exactly what I needed. He didnt take advantage of my situation and try to sell me some over priced, expensive gloves and welding equipment. He told me exactly what he recommended, and gave me a few options and took the time to explain the benefits and cons of each one. I walked out of that store with confidence and the ability to start welding on my 1967 mustang. Its been 2 months and every time I need anything to do with welding, this is my go to shop. It is family owned, local, and everyone who works there is extremely experienced.Their prices are nearly unbeatable, I saved nearly $120 on my high pressure 75/25 gas cylinder by getting it here, also I save an additional $15 every time I exchange it for another one. I called nearly a dozens places for the same gas, and no one was able to beat this stores price. Its just not the gas you save money on, you will save on all other equipment in the store. The same gas regulator here was $40-$100 cheaper then buying it from amazon, Safegas, or Lowes. This store has saved me nearly $250 in just a few short months.I cannot say enough good things about this store, I will never not recommend this store to people, and the best part is, after a few visits, they will greet you by your name.

Purchased a Eastwood 250MPi with spool gun for aluminium welding. I needed it asap! I called and talked with Chris Albanese at 3:45pm and drove 45 minutes to pick up before they closed at 5pm. They had the welder, spool gun, and all the accessories ready for pickup!Chris provided the highest level of customer service you could ask for, making sure I had EVERYTHING that was needed to start welding aluminium. I didnt feel pressured to buy ANYTHING unnecessary and Chris showed me the most cost effective option, as well as his recommendation for each product that was necessary, and not included with the welder.I would have paid a premium for this level of service but actually got a better price than ON EASTWOODS WEBSITE! No shipping cost, free setup of the welder, and local friendly customer service.
