We bought a jukebox recently and have been looking for vintage 45rpm records. We found them here!! Over 200 of them so far. Very reasonably priced, too. Most are 25 or 50 cents. We spent more than three hours looking through the boxes and came away with so many great finds.The workers are cool and the manager was super helpful. If you’re looking for a great place to buy 45s or any kind of vinyl (new or old) you have a good chance of finding it here.

Loved the selections of new records. However none where really organized in a way that was anything baide artist, vs vintage, used, etc. The ukuleles they sell are garbage, but have a lot of good electronic instruments and the 6 guys sitting around the front might be able to help with some of your questions sometimes.

Knowledgeable staff and a great selection of used electronics and vinyl at fair prices. Easily the best selection of audio gear in Milwaukee and beats hunting around Goodwill or shelling out serious cash at a high-end A/V boutique store any day. Closed Saturdays, open Sundays, something I often forget when in the neighborhood, but everyone should be allowed their own observances!

Amazing store with an even more amazing staff! We had a great day sitting on the floor going through 45s. Even picked up a childhood memory, the Banana Split Show (limited edition, only 1000 created) Not just vinyl, cds to switch games to musical instruments to pac man chairs to record players... its all here! Thank you and your great staff for a fun day during our visit! Special shout out to the lady in the back by Jazz, she rocked! And the guy up front that checked out our purchases... so friendly.

The store itself is very neat and organized! You can find any Gaming or music item that you are looking for. Unfortunately, their prices are high especially since majority of the items are used. Even worse, the customers who sell their items to Record Head are given ridiculously low amounts of money. However, Record Head turns around and sells the items for an extremely high amount!

Great selection of everything they sell in store. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are good compared to other stores similar in the area. I would come back again to buy more music and maybe even some gameboy color games.

I really liked this place, I had a good time visiting this store. I was driving when I found videogames posters in the window, and I got curious about their content, and I got satisfied with every single thing that I saw in the store.

If I Could Give This Place Zero Stars I Would, Today Me And A Guy Friend Went Into This Store To See What They Have, We Were Potiental Buyers. As We Were Looking An Employee Or Owner Whoever He Was Ask My Guy Friend If He Could Put Down This Vinyl He Was Looking At Down, Now Mind You There Wasnt A Sign Saying Those Vinyls Wasnt For Sale, This Man Literally Took That Vinyl Out My Friend Hands, Like It Was Unbelievable. RATHER It Was Or Wasnt For Sale You Dont Take Anything Out Nobody Hands Especially If Were Customers. That Guy Didnt Want My Friend To Even Look At It. The BEST selection of albums in the city. They offer new and used albums. They also have a great selection of cds and DVDs, vintage stereo equipment and tons of video games. They buy and sell. Ive been searching for a very hard to find record and called over 20 stores, and while Record Head didnt have it in stock, they walked me through all the various options I could use to find it. They even went a step further and located a link to the record being sold overseas and shared it with me. Truly amazing customer service!

I like to go every Sunday always find something new and unique. always great prices!theres a reason they are the oldest media and resale shop in Milwaukee.

Had an interesting array of items, pretty fair prices on most things, and the store was well kept. Their game section was a bit sparse but thats a given. The music section however was very well varied and had both obscure artists and works as well as more mainstream stuff. Overall it was not bad.

Excellent selection of new & used vinyl, CDs and tapes starting at $1.00. I go every couple of weeks to see what treasures I can find!!

Oh man this is like a microcosm of all entertainment media. Ya got records, ya got games, ya got your audio equipment, and ya got instruments. I really like their record selection actually. Its the first time Ive seen that many Replacements albums in one store.

The only record shop I go to in the area! Im only going in for vinyl but they have an array of different electronics, guitars, video games, dvds/cds, and more! The vinyl section is primarily the back area of the store and they have a lot to offer in all conditions! They make great deals on anything youre willing to sell. Theyre also willing to search for anything you have a hard time finding it.

Great customer service great selection used and new definitely stop in twice a month to browse new inventory. Only downside is there is no way to look up a specific product as theres no computer inventory but gets me to check it out over and over again

This is a real record store. You can ask the staff about the bands on their t-shirts and they can actually tell you about them lol.Ive only been once but I saw absolutely no bias towards any kind of genres or mediums/formats, they had of course the good ol dollar bins, they had used records (which aside from the people is what really gives a record shop character, especially nowadays that you cant smoke indoors lol) but the used records arent gonna ruin your shirt, they arent dirty. They have brand-new recently released vinyl & CDs, they also have brand new copies of classics from Thriller/Off The Wall, to NWA/EPMD/KRS One/ATCQ/Eric B. & Rakim, to GunsNRoses, to Jimi Hendrix Live, they have Bob Marley records, Johnny Cash, Van Halen, Black Sabbath, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, The Commodores, they even had the CD of the GTA San Andreas Official Soundtrack which if someone doesnt pick up Im going back to get myself lol.From everything that I checked out the prices go from a steal & only go up to the reasonable price youd expect to pay for a brand new record or whatever be the case. Not just a record shop though, they have a wide, unbiased collection NEW VINYL, OLD VINYL, CDs, RECORD PLAYERS, & then as you might expect they also have BAND SHIRTS & other MUSIC T-SHIRTS (for a good price as well), but they also have VIDEO GAMES, HOME SPEAKER SYSTEMS, PA/VENUE MONITORS, GUITARS, DRUMS, & I saw some other little instruments like some KEYBOARDS (its not a full-blown instrument/music equipment store but they do have a good section of the store dedicated to gtrs/drums/speakers/etc. & someone was actually playing guitar, but like a decent human being, not like the guys you find in guitar center lol).I passed by & said Oh wow, a real record shop?? & I went in just to check it out but you know how that goes; Of course I got to looking & they had my Gang Starr OOTBY so I had to do it lol.If you want to shop at or check out a record store anywhere in Milwaukee County, I cant say Ive seen them all but Ive seen most of them & this is the place Im gonna call my music store from now on. I believe they also advertise on the exterior of the building that they buy records as well but I dont know the full deal with that.Oh & the place has good AC too which was great today lol its spacious & clean & yeah what can I say its a real record shop, you wanna hangout in there.P.S. I bought an Elton John CD, he is one of my absolute favorites but I was really disappointed because the CD is scratched and a couple of the songs are messed up.

First time customer. The service was above and beyond and the prices were great. I purchased the wrong game console and had to bring it back for an exchange, and was given a great deal on the correct item.They were very friendly and swift with the issue. I will be returning and recommending.

Great selection of all kinds of media, from records to video games. The prices are affordable, and theres a pretty good chance youll be able to find that obscure album you really want here. Their bargain bin was great in selection, meaning things you would actually want! The store was nice and spacious, and they even sell refurbished equipment at reasonable prices. If youre in the area or willing to drive from Milwaukee, I highly recommend you do! Be sure to set aside an hour for this place!

Bought a xbox controller from here, the stick did what ever it wanted and I also bought a head seat brand new and it dont work. Tried it on multiple controllers and does nothing. I got robbed without a mask or gun

This place is a joke, bought a (probably used) phono pre-amp and ended up not needing it. Went to exchange/return and offered right away to just take store credit and mentioned I had some other things Id like to buy. The guy takes a look at the unit and tells me he can offer me $20 for my phono pre-amp with their price tag still on it for $58.98. He grumbles something about not having a receipt. Again their price tag is in plain view. I asked if it would be a different story if I had the receipt and this guy goes on to tell me that they wouldnt give money back anyway because I used it? The thing was used in the first place?! This place does not understand customer service at all. I would not recommend going here for anything you are not 100% certain you will be keeping.

Great little store! Had records, CDs, instruments, t shirts. My son bought a little bass amp and cord for under $70! The staff was fairly friendly. They did tell us they could answer any questions, from behind their counters. So, the only thing that would have made it a better experience was if the staff would have been a little more proactively helpful.
