I’m starting to think I really need to stop placing orders online with party city and just buy in store. I’m always having issues. I ordered royal blue and BLACK pearl balloons… Why was I given two different shades of blue??? Totally threw off my son birthday pictures! His colors were royal blue and black not royal blue and whatever shade of blue that is.

E for effort. It was a bit of a mess inside and I think the workers may be a bit miserable. Maybe it’s better other months.

Poorly stocked shelves and the only costumes “out and available” according to an employee were kid sized. Website said the one I wanted was in stock at the store. Employees were not wearing masks. Not worth the gas to drive there.

Overall I love shopping here for all my party needs! But today, was something else, they limited me to only two inflated balloons, after having to stand in a long line for 30 minutes watching others get a whole bouquet of them. Then I get home and open one of the purchased items that was suppose to be spelled out as HORRAY, and I was shortened letters! 😤🤦‍♀️

Rude employees and horrible customer service. Even heard the employee joke about me thinking my daughters party was more important that sweetest day orders smh. I called in advance and was told, there is no wait and you can bring your own balloons. Then when I arrived i was told no latex balloons and 5pm was the soonest while the employees joked and laughed behind the counter. Very disappointing. Ended up going to the greenfield location by Southridge. Waited 30 minutes. NEVER again at the west allis store. I will be complaining to every person above bevause it was so embarrassing being laughed at with my daughter hearing.

Messy facility, rude staff. This is the 3rd Saturday early am that I have stopped for supplies and balloons for a same day event.Again had limited options for theme and staff shouted as we were in the incredibly long check out line that they will not be doing same day Balloon blow ups until after 6pm.This is a common occurrence, I will not be back.If you want balloons blown they recommend you order in advance or choose from what they have floating around the store. These are pretty much the same as what you will find at the Dollar Tree.If you are able to order in advance, Amazon has a much better selection AND better pricing.

Everything was stocked well ... customer service was good..store was clean ..order was ready on time

Crowed and unpleasant to no fault of the over worked staff. The staff looks under slept over worked and under appreciated! I had bday ballons 2 weekends in a row neither order was ready as promised but it was because of rude customers expecting ballons now! Be ashamed of yourself west allis show some respect to your fellow humans! Thank you party city staff for what u do do!

The manager I saw that day didnt greet me she just pointed to the next register and told me one of the other workers would help me and I was next in line but she skipped me. I was doing a balloon release for my deceased mother. Its been a year since I lost her and they didnt make me feel welcomed at all

No the most pleasant Ive experienced before the shorter lady with glasses who appeared to be a manager was very rude and off putting. However the other lady who was working the balloon area in all black was very helpful and courteous.

Price is right but offen the isles are a mess

Very poor service, had three employees (one trying look busy), only one cashier. Three customers, I had to wait in line for 20 minutes, just to purchase 2 cards! Worse service ever!!

A mess dont think the place has been cleaned since 2020. Will never come to this one again.

Highly recommend this location!! I’ll never go to any other party city BUT this one, BEST one for 4 years straight never fails to satisfy me with the most simplest things. The West Allis store is well organized, speedy and friendly. I’ve been in several weekends in a row and regardless of busyness the supervisor seems to be in charge and monitoring customer flow.(Other stores I’ve been ignored while witnessing 3 staffers help a single customer for 10 mins or handed my online order with the balloons inside the bag not inflated.)

Bought balloons for daughters baby shower. Had to wait because of line, but received balloons when they said we would get them.

This place is good for buying all party favors and other exciting things for any big events. Love the store. And the Customer service is great.

Great variety. 25% off Super Bowl items like plastic table covers and other football stuff for next year. Very small area for Sweet 16. It did have a very cute hair clip with a cloth birthday cake and a small tiara, just a little bling.

They did not have items I needed and the store was kind of messy and one of the employees had his mask on his neck not wearing it properly

It was a pit, the store was so messy. I will Never ever go there again. 5 people working there and only one helping people. Store opened at 10 am we walked in at opening time no masks and the place was so dirty.

Fast friendly cashiers. The store is jammed packed with party goods. Some are at a great price. Some sales associates are more knowledgeable than others. One answer a question by looking at a picture and said that the picture i was producing was a party city item. The other associate directed me to a similar item. Instead of actually appointing me to the right item.

I came in late on a Saturday evening. Vanessa was exceptional helping me and other customers. Im sure it was a long day - but she and Mercedes were still smiling and incredibly patient. Blowing up balloons, helping me (and other customers) find stuff, and checking out was terrific. I was impressed!

Arrived as the store was opening. Looked like it had not been cleaned or restocked in weeks. Filthy floors, not mopped or swept. More items on the floor than on the shelves. Had step over and around trash. Balloon orders for 11 am pick up not being filled until after noon. Very rude employees.

After finding a few items and waiting in a very long line ~20 minutes, my husband and I finally reached the check out. We needed a costume but could not find a sales rep on the floor so we presented the costume number at the register. Our cashier said the reps were all busy at the front registers, which is why no one could help us on the floor. No big deal. She checked for our costume and it was out of stock. We finished paying and I said Id try to find another costume. She explicitly said to come back to the side of the registers once I did (not to rejoin the line).So I went, got 2 different costume numbers (just in case they were out of one of them). She went to the stock room and came back with a costume in hand. Great, I thought. Then she looked me dead in the eye and said I would have to go back to the end of the line. For another 20 minutes?? I clearly already paid for items. I was in no way trying to cut in line. I didnt forget something and try to check out ahead of others who were patiently waiting. I just said thank you and left.

I can always find stuff for kid birthdays. They always have trending themes.

I havent been in a party city in YEARS. I was looking for something specific for my childs party this year do decided to try my luck at finding it at Party City.....This store was A MESS!! I mean almost every isle was a mess. I couldnt even focus to SEARCH what I was looking for so I left, as I walking out I heard the cashier talking very rudely to another customer. I will not return

Half of the staff were wearing masks incorrectly, thats unacceptable! Also, probably due to covid, a lot for stuff was out of stock.

Ordered balloons online which confirmed free to inflate ( in store). However, I was charged $1.15 for EACH of the 30 ballons. I call that Bait & Switch!!!

I actually was surprised the things that I was looking for it was inside Party City. I have been looking for cupcake stands for my daughter and was going to even ordered them offline to Amazon for $10 a piece but lo and behold I walk into Party City and go down the party food utensil Ill and find cupcake stands piping bags everything that I was looking for in the first place. Great place to shop for birthdays special occasions.

It was good but didnt have the stuff that I was looking for.

Helium wasnt available, even though they were filling up balloons when I walked in. They will tell you theyre out, or its limited and only for pre-paid customers. They should explain this on the website so people can order ahead instead of being told to buy a tank or buy balloons there and have them filled elsewhere.

Found some good items to decorate the hall I had for my black and white themed engagement party!

I LOVE Party City! They are great for EVERY occasion. They have wedding decoration, Halloween decoration, Pairs decoration, Princess & Prince decoration and they have every character party decoration you can imagine. The have great bundle deals & they ship your items to you within 3-4 business days.

Could not believe how dirty and messy this store was. I literally had to step over merchandise to get through the aisles. When I asked the cashier who was in charge of cleaning the store he looked at me like a deer in headlights. Will not be returning.

I was excited to walk through the doors of this store to shop of my upcoming 2 year old birthday party. I literally felt like a kid in a candy store by the aesthetically pleasing decor. Its wasnt until I got to work to find supplies that I became so distracted and my headaches began. The place was a mess, literally! The aisles had no Rhyme or Reason to them. I found it difficult to locate the Elmo or Sesame Street decorations. Well, when I finally found the few items available, I was overwhelmed by how expensive the prices were. I couldnt even find enough items to supply a party because they no longer carried much around my theme. I ended up piecing accessories together, but I found most accessories at The Dollar Tree. Party City could be so amazing if the right person or people are hired to make huge changes!

Excellent selection of party supplies I was able to find exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, the store was a madhouse today. They seemed to be understaffed and overworked. The balloons were taking 30 minutes to get what you wanted. Staff was doing the best they could.

It is okay here. They didnt seem to have enough staff to provide more than service at the cash registers and that was a touch frustrating. They do have a fantastic selection of party supplies, I will give them that. I will go back at some point, I am sure but I wouldnt expect a lot of help if you cant find something.

Its my local party city and Ill always go there but service is extremely slow, takes at least 20 minutes to check out.... never go if youre limited on time or always go with extra time !

This location was very picked through. Prices werent where items were. Which made it frustrating. The excuse was they had just gone through inventory. Just having gone through inventory everything should have looked a lot better. Just wasnt what I had anticipated

I like this place but they need to stock up on their items. I went for a fathers day balloon and good thing I asked bc they didnt have them displayed so I had to search their boxes. But overall a nice place.

Collection is large but it is expensive if you buy in small quantities. Also some staff are super Helpful and others are downright rude to customers.

Terrible experience! I was the only customer there at the store and Saidee the manager ignored me as stood staring at balloons for Ten minutes. I finally had to address her. She showed no effort on helping me though. It was like pulling teeth. It was as though I was bothering her or something. She had a very nasty tone when she spoke to me. I had to really keep myself from giving this lady a piece of my mind. Glad my dauther was there to help me keep a cool head.Dont watse your hard earned cash here. Take it somewhere they will appreciated.NOT RECOMMENDED!

Went here to get first birthday decorations for my baby girl. They didnt have a lot, and later I found the same kind for cheaper at the dollar store. Live and learn

Oh boy, What a mess!This place is just terrible, there is manager there that is so rude to all the customers, and she doesnt know anything about what her store carries. And all the party supplies is just so expensive, and it mostly revolves around kid toys and decorations not much for adults. So, if you are looking for a good store to buy party supplies dont come to party city I recommend Hobby Lobby instead.Update: The manager got into a fight over the phone with my sister, My sister did nothing just ask about if her the balloons that she paid for over the phone where ready for pickup and the lady yelled at her told her she didnt know what she was talking about, then my father came in and she told him to get out, and said the balloons arent for sale! Dont for your own sanity come to this party city or you might have to knock a B**** down!

I come here not as often as I used to but is close to my house so is easier for me . Theres always few employees and act like they dont care about the customer. Couple times they was no helium which doesnt make sense to me .

Have a lot of stuff. Somethings are priced well, a lot isnt. The fact that they call themselves party city but runs out of helium all the time is sad. They run out so often that a worker advices customers to call ahead to see if they had some. When I was there, there was an 40 minute wait to get your balloon aired up.
