Menards customer service is one of the best in retail. However their buy online, deliver to store system leaves something to be desired. I ordered something from their website, waited a full week, then got an email saying it is at the store ready for pick-up. I went to the store and they tell me its probably on the truck that came in, but we havent unloaded it yet. I asked if I should come back tomorrow and they said we dont know when it will be available, it might be a few days. Then why send me an email saying its available for pick-up? Ill drive to another location and pick it up today.

They always have what I need at a decent price. The store is always clean and organized friendly staff is a plus.

This location needs to be upgraded. The outside warehouses are dirty. The products are dirty. The quantities are incorrect. Service is substandard. Would you install this siding on your home? (See photo)I had to drive back around to the service desk. Get a refund. Then go to the back of the store to purchase different (clean) siding.

I bought 3 bags of fer-til top soil. I found 2 pieces of glass in their bags. One was big and the other one was a pretty good size also. Called Menards to let them know, so no one gets hurt. I was transferred to the GM and he hung up on me then I was disconnected before I could say a word

We came to get some rock to fill in the area around our fire pit and half the bags were already ripped open with rocks falling out all over the place. The interior of the store was nice and every employee we talked to was courteous and helpful.

Kudos to John Menard for the romantic music to set the mood while Im shopping for manly things. Its a little weird walking in with my friends looking for certain items such as piping, but it makes for a good laugh.

Never going to this location again. Staff other than the cashiers were so rude and crabby. My sister in law sent me a gift card via email which for some reason I couldnt find in my email because it was back from December so Jane (I believe thats the managers name) said all I needed was the receipt and order number which my sister in law then forwarded to me with all the info on it. I went to check out and had all the info ready for her to see and then she told me I couldnt use it because over 3 months old and my sister in law would have to drive all the way there and give her the credit card info it was purchased with. Even though that info was in the email I showed her! I was very polite and apologized a few times and then I overheard her making snarky comments to her coworkers about me!! Its not like the gift card was for $20 . It was for a large amount which I have a right to use! Ive never heard of a gift card with that large of an amount expiring in less than a year...If you hate your job that much or cant handle simple requests or help a customer then find another job!!

Never going back to this Menards for any building supplies. I purchased a handful of 2x4s and needed them cut to fit in my vehicle, since I was having them cut to fit in my vehicle I thought I might as well get them cut to size for my project. The cuts that were made were lopsided and not accurate, Im furious. If your going to charge $2/ cut then they better be accurate and straight cuts. That was an extra $20 to my purchase for nothing because I had to go home re-cut them and sand them to get rid of the lopsided ends. Go to home Depot, Lowes, or possibly a different Menards instead for building materials. The customer service at this Menards was also severely lacking.

Sat Infront of the manager for about 20 min while he talked about tile to somebody on the phone ( mind you he was the plumbing section manager) and just needed a quick yes or no if I could buy the display. Two high-school kids said he was was the only one I could talk to. Im a contractor whos on the clock. Best leave menards to the do it your selfers and go through supply houses

The Menards on Hwy 100 is ok if you need something plain and common. It seems like everytime I go in there, they do not have what I need. I would definitely recommend going to a big Menards instead though. They have a bigger selection of product and styles.

Great to see if you are completely vaccinated, you dont have to wear a mask. Found only one item out of 5 I was looking for. May have to go to another Menards that is larger with a larger inventory.

After numerous prior calls to the store and no one ever picking up the phone after being transferred I was very frustrated, I finally spoke with Andrew in Building materials about a special order item that was supposed to be delivered by 4-17-2020. Very helpful and pleasant to deal with! Gave me updated information in detail! Good experience after numerous calls with no results.

Customers are not requiered to wear a mask! Will not shop there again. A customer who would not back away to where he was supposed to stand (he was sweaty and dirty, wearing a wife-beater shirt) mockwd me for wearing a mask and asking him to back up.

I always get good service here. Wish there was a little wider quality range in power and other tools. I really like the personal feel of the place. I often leave here with extra stuff because they always have some good deals

Saved 11% on all items today! A huge selection of indoor/outdoor products and our family go to for items needed such as a new air filter, ant traps for the yard and for the house plus foggers to take care of bugs this spring/summer, bleach cleaner, and round up. The rebate will come in handy down the road, and the staff is awesome at remembering where everything is in that large store. If it werent for them I would be wondering around for awhile looking for whatever is on the list that day.

The selections and prices are both better than The Home Depot. Locations seem to be better as well.

Love this place. Not this one. But the store in general. This one is horrible. The manage is definitely on a power trip and rude as all get up. She needs to learn some customer service skills.

They wasted an hour of mine and tried to sell me a used gas trimmer as new; box was busted, oil stains everywhere and tank still had some gas in it plus dirt on the motor itself.I think Ill spend a little extra and start going to L o w e s

This is one of the older Menards not as big as most but the staff here really know their stuff. they do pack alot of merchandise in a small area. Very clean well stocked. Easy access from Hywy 100.

Hardware store, today was good lady in windows knew what I needed and was helpful.

Older building. Older lay out. Not very easy to get thru the aisles. Narrow. Small. Electric is upstairs. Had to leave my cart downstairs and make multiple trips. Not convenient for BIG shoppingI wont use this location anymore. Not conducive to big spenders.

Handy place to pick up basic items usually at competitive maybe lower prices. One of the smaller Menards in area so not as many product choices compared to super Menards like store in Hales Corners several miles down the road. Staff generally friendly and helpful, though sometimes difficult to find and answer shopper questions. For bigger selection, go to Hales Corner store. Would be nice if the West Allis store was larger, also including expanded food item selections.

I ordered curbside pick up - quick, easy and good customer service.

I rarely shop at this store anymore. And today reminded me why. I was looking for some specific items. Four different employees walked past me, not one offered assistance or asked if I needed help. Customer service at this store in non existent

Shopped at this location approx 2 weeks ago, zero customer service. Ask the lazy guy at the service desk for a rebate form, he stated they had them at the far side of counter. Make the customer walk down there when some rebate forms could be kept at both sides of the counter, at both exits.

Great place, with a neighborhood hardware store feel. Much smaller than other Menards, but has most things a big store has and awesome employees.

I find most everything I need at Menards for the projects I work on at very reasonable prices. I Like the rebate offers and the friendly staff. Im also VERY grateful they have the mask policy in place and, as a result, have really made me a customer for life because of it.

Menards is a good store, you can get clothes, snacks and dog food. Not to mention movies, outdoor furniture, gardening supplies and last but not least..... Hardware and tools.

I went to the hwy 100 location and was having trouble finding stuff in the yard. Alex Kass saw that i was struggling and jumped to assist me. He even grabbed a forklift and brought the pallet to me so i didnt have to back track. Truly above and beyond.

This was the smallest Menards I have been in. I found everything I needed except for a couple finished Red Oak boards. They didnt seem to have much for lumber there.

These employees at Menards did not know and have any experience in the tools and equipment that I needed. How do one company brings success and make sales if your employees are not sufficient with knowledge and information?

I always enjoy holidays and shopping at Menards. They decorate my lawn very well. I love walking through just to get great ideas for remodeling the house. The employees are pleasant and will help you find what your looking for. I always feel like Im getting a hood deal. Ive shop at hobo and there not as helpful and Ace Hardware is just too expensive.

Small store, yet great home town courtesy!The only reason I gave it a 3-star rating was due to the limited selection compared to a main hub.Electrical department is located up stairs, which is not handicap accessible.Great for popping in and out to get smaller household items, but you need to go to a main hub for larger selections.Staff is very friendly and helpful!

Checked the website online l, said the product was at the store. Went to check for 16oz caulks tubes for the gun and they didn’t have them. Asked the employee why it said it was here and it’s not and they got irritated he had to stop what he was doing to help. Grumpy old man. That’s fine Home Depot is right around the corner when I went in to Home Depot they had a whole row of calk, unlike menards which offered 3 kinds in store. I won’t go back again never had this happen at Home Depot

Funny menards stores want to jump on the fear-mongering bandwagon by making customers either pay $1 to buy a mask to enter or refuse entry to those who dont bring their own dust covered cloth posing as a mask, but werent too concerned about public safety or customer care when they were price gouging when the pandemic began. Ill take my business to Lowes from now on.

Its a small store. Sometimes you cant get what in the ad. I only go here if in passing it on my way home. Its not my closest or my favorite. Employees are very nice, though.

They sold me lumber that wasnt even stocked in the back. The rest of their lumber is outside, wet, frozen together, and covered in snow.

I needed to rent a truck just for a couple of hours. I went to the store and met with Bryan who was fantastic. Explained everything to me walked me around the truck had a great personality I cannot say enough about how helpful he was. I would definitely go back.

Ok,but smaller than Im used to. The one down the road in Franklin on Hwy 100 has a much larger selection due to its size. As I was in the area I stopped for some items I know they have in Franklin. Unfortunately, they only had about half of what I needed. Still have to go to Franklin store tomorrow morning to get the rest.
