Picked this repair shop on a whim when I first moved to the area a year and a half ago and havent regretted it since! These fellas do excellent work, both quickly AND affordably. I cant recommend them enough. Easily the greatest mechanics Ive ever been to.Past mechanics have tended to bleed me dry; Total Auto Repair has saved me literally thousands of dollars on fast, dependable repairs.Extra shout out to Tom, who is always friendly, patient, and accommodating.

Let me start by saying, I have not had my vehicles fixed here but a lot of my customers have. 5 yrs ago i called T.a.c. to ask if they could fix a car of one of my friends. They did a great job and since then i have sent a ton of my cutomers, friends and family to them and they have done an exceptional job with everyone. I continue to reccomend them based on other peoples reviews and they never disappoint.

So glad I decided to give this shop a try! After being told my van needed a bunch of unnecessary repairs by another mechanic he gave me a honest repair and price! definitely my new mechanic!!

Knowledgeable staff who do honest work at an unbeatable price. I received quotes from 3 other shops for replacing my shocks/struts and this place was the most reasonably priced. I had to wait 4 days to get my car in for an available appointment, but that was a non-issue for me. I dropped my car off in the morning before work and they had it completed for me before the end of my work day. This shop was recommended by a friend and I will be using Total Auto in the future for my car repairs.

This is my new go to! My drama queen husband told me both of our cars were leaking something....I couldnt find the leak so I looked up the best place to take your car near by & found this wonderful place. I took our subaru in & they squeezed me in that day! Adam called me & he told me he cant find the leak (which is exactly what happened to me). He washed out the windshield wiper container & refilled it with a winter blend in case it was a freeze, nothing. I walked back over (mind you its been raining & hailing all day) & I asked what I owe him & he said nothing. The kindness was more than appreciated since I felt terrible wasting their time on a day they were completely booked. The honesty & kindness is all I need to make this place where I take all my future car problems. Highly recommend. Thank you for being amazing Adam!

Tom and Adam were great. Honest and fair pricing. They replaced a rusted gas tank on an old, rusty vehicle. Very honest about the need to replace the fuel pump. Very happy to have taken my car to Total Auto Repair.FOLLOW UP: I took a different car to Total Auto Repair recently. Same great service at a very fair price. They searched and found the axle part that I needed at a better price. They also diagnosed the issue very well. On top of that, I got a great set of Cooper tires at a great price. Not sure why my other review is now missing it was a good one. I found these guys a few months before I moved out of town for a new job. 850 miles away. They have worked on several of my vehicles and when I am back in town I drive the vehicle to Milwaukee that needs work and have it fixed here. They have fixed problems that many others places could not figure out. Why? Because they want it fixed right the first time. Prices are in line or much cheaper than other places I have found. Most of the time cheaper never more expensive. I do not know why shops cant be more like this place. Hard to find honesty and integrity anymore with anybody and eventhough I cant take my vehicles here for everything I am still glad I gave them available when I am back in town.

If you get your car repaired at any other shop your just wasting your money. Never had an issue the past 5+ Years of going to total auto repair. My entire family has been going here for years for auto repairs of all sorts. Same day repairs most of the time along with quality service and pure honesty. I personally won’t go anywhere else as long as they remain open for business. Your paying 1/3 price of dealership quotes for almost every car repair. How could you not go here?

Just wanted to come here and share my thoughts on the recent experience Ive had form Total Care on Lincoln Ave. Adam & Tom were recommended to me by an old friend and I am so grateful that I took his advice. I have an older model Oldsmobile mini van that was having fuel pump issues. There were also a slew of other electrical problems that is was having, and Adam was great with getting back to me and patiently explaining the details. He was also able to diagnose issues with my brakes and radiator that I had no idea needed work. He followed up with me as promised, and in the end I was given a decent price on all repairs. I spoke with Tom a few times, and everytime I had called the shop and he answered the phone, he was professional and courteous. I will forever be a customer of theirs. Thank you guys so much!!!!!!

Prompt and efficient repair for a passenger window that was stuck in the down position! It happened to be a very rainy day, but because the work was done professionally and quickly, my vehicle did not get any water in it! I was very impressed by the owner who personally made sure the vehicle would be done ahead of the projected window of time.

Im so upset I have a 2010 Nissan Rhod & I needed a CV Boat/Axle on my car & they was charging me $385 then they told me that if they fix it I will still hear noise now that just didnt sound right to pay $385 for work & its still not right so I ? It & ask the guy can he put the car in the air & show me what hes talking about thats when he decided to be rude to me & ask me to pick up my car so I went to pick up my vehicle & took it to Toms Auto & they put the car in the air showed me were the problem was & they charged me $217.45 which is a big difference & guaranteed the problem will be fixed now, Im upset because when I ? What the guy was telling me he became rude & asked me to pick up my car they worked on my car before so I dont understand what was going on.NOW I didnt have a problem paying the $385 but when your talking about that type of money & the problem is still not fix thats a big problem, safety is my main focus when it comes to my family, I just cant believe that the guy got rude with me like he did when I ? What he was telling me wow not only did you loose a customer I went to another shop to get the same work done for a cheaper price & the work is granted safety is my main concern when it comes to my family I travel to much to pay someone that type of money to fix my car & still hear noise when I have my family thats a big NO NOI work to hard to be dealing with BS

Three times I have gone to Total Auto Repair and each time has been a positive visit. 1st time I had a big repair but I was able to get in on short notice and the big bill was fair. 2nd time I thought I blew a head gasket! They were honest with me and told me its just a simple tube and its a cheap fix. I was so happy I jumped for Joy! 3rd time I hit a raccoon at 70mph broke my headlight! Tried to change a bulb and fuse no Luck! Took it to Adam at Total Auto Repair and he said was just a broken wire....No Charge! I am now a loyal customer and Adam and T.A.R. is my place to go! After receiving some information from another dealership I wanted a second opinion so I took my vehicle to Total Auto repair on the quote that I received from the other dealership the estimate was anywhere from three to four thousand dollars and I was told that my engine had misfiring in three locations and it will cost me that much to have it repaired so upon receiving this information I sought out to find somewhere that can complete at lower cost. Total Auto Repair was the place. I took my car to Total Auto Repair and talked with Tom and I gave him the information that was provided to me. I was given a quote at a lower coat for the same work .I agreed to have total Auto repair to complete the work that Nissan Maxima on highway 100 say it will cost me at their cost which was a couple thousand more Than Total Auto repair so I agree to have Total Auto repair complete the Job. I drop off my vehicle and within an hour I learned that the information that was provided was all false Tom and his team repaired my car at a fraction of the cost and its been running great ever since I recommend this place hands down. Stay away from Nissan maximum on highway 100 I would have been out thousands of dollars. Thank God for honest dealerships like Total Auto repair. Thanks Tom. My cost was less than one hundred dollars. What impressed me the most is that they could have easily completed the work that was requested on the quote needed or not. But they informed me that none of this was needed. Cleaned my engine and I was back on the road.

Whenever theirs a problem with my jeep and I know i cant fix it, I always take it to total because they are fast, reliable, reasonable, and trustworthy. They let you know right on the spot what wrong with your vehicle and dont try to get you to repair other things other than whats wrong. So if your having any kinda car trouble definitely take it to total, you wont regret it!

First time taking vechile and they was very honest and told me that there wasnt anything wrong with vechile that they seen, to drive vechiel if problem continues bring it back. Even though I knew that I was having problems the vechile shuts off while driving. ( They are not in business to take your money :)
