Good selection of games

I’ve been going here for as long as I remember and it’s still just as good now as it was when I was a kid. The largest selection of both games and merchandise in the area. After more than a year without going there all the employees still remembered me by name. Usually a little crowded but they do the best with what they’ve got.

Awesome GameStop! Always friendly and knowledgeable and not afraid to tell me about discounts and specials. They try to save me money all while giving me the best quality in products. The staff always lets me know about future releases across all platforms and if they don’t have something you want they will call and try their hardest to get it for you. When my son with autism comes in excited touching everything and knocking stuff down, the staff engage right back with him in the best of ways. The two guys we always see up there is always helpful, patient, and extremely knowledgeable.

Every time I walk in I don’t feel welcomed and any questions I ask it’s like it bothers them that I have questions and I get a lot of I don’t knows

My son (13) had a rated M game reserved. I want him to start going through the motions of asking and speaking to adults, so I had him orchestrate his game purchase. I stood far back. The employee asked for his parents approval, and, as a joke, I pretended to not know my son. The employee wasnt selling this game to him. I wish I remembered their name so to showcase him, but, nonetheless, great work Mr. Gamestop Guy!

Ive been to a plethora of Gamestops in the STL area and this one sticks out as having some of the best customer service. Every time Ive come in here the staff have been very friendly and willing to help. This store also tends to have an above-average selection of games too.

Girl there seemed very unhappy that I walked in. Showed little enthusiasm with her job. Talked only to her friend that was in store. Complained when I was ready to check out and was very rude and said wait, but I asked excuse me I believe I am ready to check out and was very polite but she didnt seem to like me trying to check out when her friend and her were talking.

The girl that checked us out has been rude everytime we get her. (Day hours) She comes off rude and pretty much unwilling to help with questions. The store is a little small. Prices are just mediocre.

This is by far the unfriendliest Game Stop Ive ever been to. I took my son in tonight, there were a few people shopping but it wasnt very busy. There wasnt anyone checking out at the counter so all 3 associates were standing there. We walked in and no one said hello or even looked up. One of three associates was just inside the door, he did finally looked up, looked right at me and didnt say a word. No one asked if we needed help finding anything, they literally just stood there. My son found a couple things, the girl working, Brittany, checked us out and nothing, no thanks, no have a good night.......nothing. It wasnt just me, I never heard any of them speak to any of the customers that walked in. Game Stop associates usually rock, theyre friendly and helpful and Ive never come in contact with anyone who wasnt awesome, except for Wentzville location. This isnt an isolated incident, any time I visit here, this is indicative of the service, or lack thereof.

Its a Gamestop so you kind of know what youre getting into - but what sets this one apart is the employees. Ive been going to this one for almost 10 years and you see the same employees there all the time. They are very knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy about pre-orders and warranties. Will engage you in friendly conversation if its not too busy. I do enjoy all the other merchandise that has come in from ThinkGeek as well. All the super hero and nerdy toys fit right in with the games.
