Homer Town Hardware Canton 5 stars. Hometown Hardware Waynesville 3 stars, needs some TLC. Was in there there yesterday not one single associate said hello or can I help you! The store in Canton, 5 stars, you can feel the love!!

First time in this hardware store. Favorably impressed, picked up my items, it seems as though they carry a great variety.

Great hardware store with everything you need. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. You feel really comfortable and welcomed from the minute you walk in the door. Hard to find good service like this these days. I definitely recommend stopping by to say hello! They have a great selection of Diablo blades as well. Thats a win in my book! Will be shopping here again soon.

Great local, small hardware store with an outsized selection for its size and excellent service. Just about everything you might need in the day to day, with the advantage of two locations, one in Waynesville and the other in Canton. Management clearly cares for employees and community, mask mandate was respected and followed consistently.

Good local hardware store. They had all the hardware options we needed- plus some cool extras that werent necessary, but we found & wanted! Hardware, pet goods, bird houses and feed, tools, plumbing, grilling, etc. Almost everything the big box stores have, but more fun. Staff was helpful and friendly

They may provide good service to customers. However, they don’t treat employees with the same respect. Refuse to pay them for work they have done.

Great service and friendly people

I went in to ask for plug-in carbon dioxide alarms...the super patience employee searched n searched until he located me three of the correct plug-in ones for me to purchase. I dont live in NC; but because this is a locally owned business, and have been assisted completely on my previous visits...I much prefer to spend my pension monies with locally owned businesses.

Home town hardware is a privately owned business and I hope that the folks in the area really embrace this store even more than they are now.. It is well stocked and the owners are friendly, and knowledgeable as are the staff there.. Just the kind of hardware store the City of Waynesville needs.

Came by to pick up some paint and had the product number listed. The man at the paint desk (long grey hair and grey mustache) was very rude. Extremely rude. The other person working saw how rude he was and essentially stepped in and tried to correct the situation. Disappointed in what could be a nice local store but with customer service like that I’ll just go elsewhere.
