I wish I could give no stars due to not being able to speak to someone at the store via phone. I simply want to check to see if they have a device in stock before driving there. I am listening to elevator music waiting for someone to pick up. Trying to give them my business and cannot.
JR was very knowledgeable and helpful. Listened to my issues and needs, offered and explained various solutions, and helped me obtain exactly the service / product to best suit my internet needs at a fair and reasonable price.
Support person was very knowledgable and helpful in reactivating my newly purchased iPhone 13. Very thankful for his quick resolution.
Great store! Employees were all very helpful and knowledgeable. Lauren in particular did an amazing job. The store was extremely busy when I came in looking for a new phone. She helped many different customers in front of me in the line who she had amazing customer service skills with, taking her time to make sure she covered all bases while also being efficient with her time during a busy and stressful situation. She gave me all the options for my new phone and answered any questions I had. Great job!!
I went in to trade in 4 phones with the $800 promotion. When I got to the door, no one was there to take names, I waited 10 minutes and when the lady came out she tried to discourage me from waiting. Said there were 6 in front of me and if I wanted an Apple 13, they had none in stock anyway. I opted to stay, waited 45 minutes, told the rep I wanted to order them since they didn’t have any, he wrote down all the info of what I wanted and sent me on to order them myself. Called today to order, to my surprise, probably not his, the promotion is gone. I called the 1-800 and was pretty much told tough luck. Have been with you since 1992 to get treated like this really upsets me. I was suppose to buy an iPad also but won’t be doing that thru Verizon. I think your store should honor this since you were to busy to put my order in and cost me
Aaron straightened out a tangled billing issue that we had been trying to resolve for months via the corporate office. Also actually listened when I needed a new device and sold me not the most expensive thing but what I needed.
Took forever to answer their phone. Had to wait 30 mins. And thats after going through their 10 minute audio voice options. Would not recommend!!!
All the staff is polite and very knowledgeable about products and plans offered. No pressure and helped me find the best plan for my family at the most reasonable price. Love the store in Town Plaza near Walmart!
Be prepared and do your own research, cause the guy that didnt help us didnt offer any details on phones. Didnt want to sale us anything, we waited longer for our appointment than we talked to the dude. He just walked off and said have a good day, as we were asking questions. So we just ordered online.
Lauren was excellent, she’s super kind and helped me find everything I needed! The whole process was so fast but they were very busy so make an appointment or make sure you have time to wait a bit.
My wait time wasntoo extreme was about a half hour to fourty minutes . When I got helped he didnt seem to know very much about the phones just sold me what he thought I should get. Then never even opened and set up my phone.just sent me on my way . I was switching carriers and 24 hours later my old phone is shut off and new one has no service still so Im left w no way to call out or ppl call me. And there was a charging cord in the box but no wall block.. so I also couldnt chargeit.. just wifi and couldnt use wifi calling
While Verizon employees are most always nice and try to be helpful, the company has HORRIBLE customer service, and will waste many hours of your precious time and never provide satisfactory solutions. So SAD!
Went there to get a new line added to our account. The middle aged women who was greeted that day 4/30/21. I’m sorry you hate your job but there no need for you to be so Fing rude to me an the other 8 customers that came in after us. Then the sales rep.... he barely new what was happening. He gave us the phone, said it was activated but he couldn’t open it an set it up. Great by me. Get home start to set it up. No luck. Call Verizon, routed to their call center, the dude literally asks me why the new phone isn’t on my account as if I’d know. The man at the call center took an hour to figure it all out. I was sent home with a $1200 phone that wasn’t active or on my account so I could have sold it to anyone an Verizon wouldn’t know until they did inventory, according to the call center. Good job Waynesville
Best experience, JR gave concise and needed Info on different plan options. Very pleased with the service!
Perfect service. Answered all my questions with knowledge and courtesy. Very happy with service!
Purchased a SE iPhone had to return without 3 days and I ended up purchasing an iphone 12, Wasnt happy, No phones in stock
Got right in and didnt have to wait. First time ever that we didnt have to wait 20 or 30 mins
Great experience. Super helpful, Tyler was great, we knew what we wanted and he knew how to get it done.
Had a great experience! Came in to upgrade two phones, and was out in under 20 minutes. Lauren was fantastic! Super nice and helpful.
NO service at my home, NONE. Also I had to file a claim through ASURION (the only insurance provider VERIZON offers) and my phone got shipped to the wrong address, I was with no phone for NINE DAYS and verizon wouldnt even refund my 9 days worth of service... they did NOTHING to compensate my inconvenience. SO THEY GOT ME FOR 9 days of service I never got to use. Shame on you Verizon...
I tried multiple times to call my local store to confirm something before driving across town. I kept getting a dude in India trying to help me. Why have a local number when it does not work?
Aaron was so helpful and patient.
I recently was in the store and saw Steven. He was prompt and very through in his care of my needs. I was very impressed with the service I received. I would definitely use this store in the future.
Took My Sister For Help Setting Up Her New I-Phone. The Gentleman Who Assisted Her (Aaron) Was Incredibly Gracious, Knowledge, And Helpful.
They dont have much knowledge of how contracts work, first of all. As a customer of many years, I began to visit a store that is not official from Verizon and they help better than this one that is official. I have seen and I have gone through the experience that they do not want to serve the customer and they tell them to call to make an appointment and it is understandable because Covid but if you do not have anyone at the moment you can attend a customer, why not? Due to a bad recommendation from one of the sellers I had problems with my contract and with my bill for a period of almost 2 months. Before going read the offers well and the small letters. Verizon is a great company but this people at the stores just want to sell you stuff and they send you to costumer service to make them resolve the problems.
Sold me a phone and then sent me home and said I could activate through email. I couldn’t. Took the phone to Sylva location and they got it up and running. Worth the drive to Sylva to skip the Waynesville hassle.
This was the best Verizon store we have visited over the last several days to exchange a Christmas gift iPhone 12 for an iPhone 11. The customer service representative was extremely helpful and expedited the exchange. This store was also the only corporate Verizon store open on December 30 in a thirty-mile radius of Asheville.
Verizon will not provide any incentives for their customers to stay with them such as special deals on phones. Only to new customers. I guess they dont value their current customers! The employees contacted were courteous and professional.
We had a great experience with Aaron today. I was due a new phone (running slow, cracked), and my husband simply upgraded to a newer iPhone. Aaron explained everything thoroughly and didn’t get derailed with all my questions. He was very very professional. I highly recommend dealing with him if you need to buy a new phone.
Love BigLots,. Prices are getting higher. Sales are good.
I want to.recognize and commend sales associate Ty Moore for his professionalism, expertise and friendliness. I went to the Verizon store on Russ Avenue in Waynesville, NC on July 3, 2020, seeking assistance with setting up my new iPhone. Ty welcomed me, efficiently answered all my questions and helped me with the setup. He could not have been nicer or more helpful. He had all the qualities expected of a sales associate and I will definitely ask for him the next time I go to the Verizon store.Bill Thompson, Maggie Valley, NC
Love it! They are so helpful and work with me everytime
I liked the visit by appointment only approach.
Horrible customer service!
Lauren is always there when you need her! She is very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions I have! She is a great asset to version and the people she helps! I give her 5 stars!
Super friendly. Safe shopping with plenty of social distancing. Friendly staff, great environment. Very pleased!
Very helpful and solved our problem.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! the person working didnt even act like he was concerned about helping me, was very short with me. And basically pushed me aside to help a younger female customer. I would not recommend this store if you were stranded in an emergency situation and they were the only phone within miles..STAY AWAY!
My phone is less than 2 yrs old...i needed a new screen cover...however their inventory is zero. Stores are forcing us to buy online! How can we support them if they dont carry any inventory! How about those who cant shop online or dont know how! The salesman suggested I do Amazon! How is that for Verizon support!
Go see Stuart S for a great customer service experience at the 30 Town Center Loop location .He is an asset to Verizon very personable and easy to work with.
I was sent a warranty replacement cell and was happy to have a replacement cellphone that would work. When shipping the defective phone back it was damaged in shipping on and now they are charging me $300. I tried to do A UPS claim, but was told that the person who created the label would have to file the claim. I called Verizon and they do not fill out damaged claims. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with 3 different technical support representatives to which none offered much help. I am going to switch to Sprint after being a 20 plus year dedicated loyal Verizon customer and file a credit card dispute since Verizon is not willing to send pictures of the damage or send the cellphone back to me. Calling Verizon now to cancel my 20 year preferred membership as I was charged $405
The staff was so friendly and helped us with each step we needed to do with a problem we were having..very knowledgeable!
BEWARE - BEWARE - BEWARE, My wife and i moved from Fort Lauderdale and was told that Verizon has the best service in Western NC. We decided to go to the Verizon store at 30 Town Center Loop In Waynesville. We brought in our NEW Samsung S8 and S8 plus to check for compatibility. The Verizon employee checked each phone by inserting the chip into the phones and preceded to tell us we need new phones. Well we trusted him and that was the mistake, we called Verizon and found out our phones are compatible and you need to check the IMEI# TO VERIFY COMPATIBILITY. This man lied to us to make a sale. We spoke to Kenny a manager there in the store and explained the situation and of course he gave us some BS that he would talk to his Manager. That never happened and they never contacted me. DONT GET RIPPED OFF AND LIED TO LIKE US . Make sure they check your IMEI# to verify compatibility with other networks. Do not trust management in this store, its there responsibility to train there people, clearly they DON`T.
Quick and friendly service. Great people working there
Person at the front was very nice as usual. My criticism is why have a brick and mortar store if the majority of customer service issues must be resolved online or calling Verizon. Might as well go online or to best buy and get phones.
Went by this Verizon store to have a wireless trail cam linked to my account and activated. It was a very long frustrating process (thanks to the manufacturer’s registration process) but we got the job done (thanks to Shannon, one of the store managers). Shannon went above and beyond to navigate us through a technological vicious circle... couldn’t have done it without her. Thanks so much, Shannon!
Timely service friendly staff. Not pushy at all. They take the time to listen and recommend what you need not try to meet a quota
Had to visit the store 4 different times only to be put on the phone to inquire about my refund for my phone bill. Each person, each time told me that I did Not have to call or do anything to receive my refund. That was NOT TRUE. These people DID NOT CARE that I had my service with them for 20 YEARS and had switched to something WAY MORE CONVENIENT. The person on the phone said they would have to INVESTIGATE why they OWED ME. I informed them that they had changed my bill plan without my permission and they owed me PERIOD. BEWARE OF THESE CROOKS !!!!!!! I did receive my refund after 2 1/2 months.
Stuart is the man!
Jessica took care of our needs.
I got a new phone from a representative named DJ. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. A stand up employee. Thanks.
Always helpful, even during COVID
Excellent service from Dylan!!! This is a Verizon owned store, not an authorized dealer. Much better service, no high pressure sales. Knowledgable and prompt service. Highly recommend.
Chris palmer was amazing! Came in on his day off. Knows all. Delightful for this novice to learn from. Persisted until all was done and carefully explained. Bought new phone because of his careful followup by phone and in person. Congratulations on a sterling public servant.
We were helped as soon as we walked in, only took about 15 minutes to get with a rep. We were in and out with a new phone less than an hour. They were decently busy too.
Waited a long time for minimum assistance with only 2 people ahead of me. It definitely looked like the Verizon rep would wander around between customers, go to the back for a few minutes (I have no problem with a bathroom break, but doubt that all 4 of the individuals I saw doing this were doing that) and then wander a bit more and finally come looking for the next customer in line! Its fairly obvious that they have been instructed to make customers wait in hope of making more sales of accessories, or whatever, while being kept waiting. Gotta say, this is no way to treat your very long term customers! We are definitely considering our options for new phones and service elsewhere. Your service stinks!
Came into the store 5 minutes before closing. Welcomed with open arms by several friendly employees. I Took an accidental swim at work and soaked my phone and needed a new phone for the next day of work. Amy was extremely friendly and helped me purchase a new phone. Amy took the time and looked into several upgrade options for me and helped me get a good price on my IPhone 6. Strongly recommend this location!
I spoke with Matthew and he provided me with a good experience. I was in and out of the store with what I needed in less than 15 minutes. The staff were very willing to offer advice and engage with me when I asked questions. They were adamant that they had the best charging cables for the price. I went to Walmart and bought a shorter cable to save myself money. Overall I received good service and got a really good phone- holder for my car at a great price. Thank you Matthew and staff.
Why have a store that cant help.
Great service
I had the best customer service from a young man named Brian Durant yesterday. He was so knowledgeable and spent all the time I needed to get my iPad set up. I am so happy that Verizon has friendly and personable employees like him to help customers who are not very tech savvy. I hope I can always ask for him whenever I am back in the Waynesville store.
Its a corporate store. Id go to a franchise location. Youll get better service and they usually dont credit check at franchise locations
They are the very BEST in Waynesville. Very friendly and NEVER talk down to an elderly person. Very helpful 100 percent of the time.
Great place to pick up a phone or tablet and or a contract friendly service very nice and clean store
Store employees are always knowledgeable and goes out of their way to help. Zach has helped me several times. Hes a great person/employee.
Long wait for a phone they didnt have. Can get more done faster by just calling *611 from your phone and dealing with Verizon directly. Phones are overpriced.
I had an urgent issue, I needed a new phone because I was flying out early the next morning I needed it right away. Zack went well above and beyond any expectations and took care of us immediately got us everything we needed. We will definitely be going back every time we need a phone or anything else
The employees are helpful, and knowledgeable about their products, and take your budget in mind. Great products and if a problem does arise with something you have bought all the employees that I have dealt with are helpful and honest. They will also work with you if the payments you are making are causing you any difficulties. I have used this business for several years and I can be quite picky in the businesses that I choose to use.
My first time to make a purchase at this store. While the facility is nice & roomy, the staff seemed under pressure to meet a quota or something. The woman who waited on us seemed preoccupied when questioned about the bill. She later stated she was not feeling well. I want to apologize to her (don’t remember her name) as I expressed my frustration about her salesmanship. Buying phones at any Verizon I’ve patronized has been stressful. One might say change providers, but I have the feeling they’re a lot alike.
Lauren was extremely helpful and courteous in researching and resolving the issues I was having with changing my phone service over from Straight Talk. Definitely will be back
The experience was good. James was very helpful. Thank you.
Always helpful and knowledgeable. Verizon has always been good to us. We are happy customers. Love the Samsung Note 9
Visited store 10/6, pleasant group to work with. Lauren was very helpful, and understanding. Thanks so much!!
Unimpressed. Looking for a new phone I asked the salesman (name rhymes with dick) if after 3 years with Verizon can I get a better price, no but we have these other...So I went across the parking lot to Wal-Mart. Got the same phone for $75 less and double data (2g, I dont need much) and $10 less per monthVerizon has lost a customer
Helpful and knowledgeable customer service. They have a payment kiosk too ☺️. There was a bit of a wait for service but it went pretty fast.
Had a issue with my Simm card while on vacation, stopped in to see if they could help. And they did! 😄 Fast service not a long wait time, Nick helped us and he had my phone fixed within minutes. Great service!
I recently had a great and enjoyable experience at this Verizon store - even while spending money! Kayla was my sales person; she was enjoyable and helpful; and knew the product. She made me feel comfortable and went beyond the call of duty to help me with what I needed. The other personnel in the store that I had some contact with were also very helpful and friendly.
One of the worse places I have ever visited. Buyer beware! Will pull a bait and switch tactics on you given the chance. Sent my Grandson there because he was having a problem with his newer iPhone. They told him they would replace the phone with a new one. The problem was a warranty problem. Because the phone wasnt a year old yet. So they send a new one. We return the old one. And then billed a month later for the new phone $330.00. Then told the problem with his newer iPhone wasnt under warranty. We tried to get them to return his old phone and were told it had been destroyed. Never again will they suck me in! Will make you feel stupid for doing business with these shysters! Dont believe what they tell you. Please do your research. If I could give zero stars. I would.
Simple visit to set up another device. James was very helpful and assisted with an accessory purchase.
Awesome experience Everytime I come here. Zack was just great, very knowledgeable and didnt try to push me into the latest, greatest, most expensive iPad. He asked questions about what I was going to to use it for and got me into just what I needed. Would recommend to anyone to visit this store.
I would rate my experience at the Town Center Loop Verizon a couple of weeks ago with Five Stars. I normally hate these cell phone experiences with a passion, but Tyler at Verizon made everything so easy, explained everything carefully and with no rush or pressure and took complete charge and made me feel at ease. It did take a long time to get the transaction completed, mostly on my part not knowing passwords, etc., but totally not his fault. He was a very charming, knowledgeable and competent young gentleman who handled all aspects of the transition professionally, accurately, and with a great demeanor. He seemed to really enjoy his work, contrary to most people his age. I cannot compliment him highly enough. Tyler gets highest marks from me.
The guys there really surprised me with there knowledge of fixing phones in a pinch. They got me back on line quickly........
Employees sure arent what you used to have!! They told us it would be about 10 minute wait. We waited about an hour, and other people came in while we waited, and they got help, but not us! We got aggravated and walked out with NO customer service! You used to have good people there! What happened??? Very disappointed! We were hoping to upgrade, but,,,,, oh well!!!
I have been with Verizon for 20 years only because they have the best signal here in the mountains . That said most everything else about this store has not been pleasant . Long waiting times, very often Oh we will be happy to take care of that becomes after an hour or two were sorry and nothing has changed. They seem to love to sell you new stuff but if you have a problem not so good. This is a company store, their satellite stores have been more helpful always.PART 2 Right after I posted the above the VERIZON manager replied he hoped I would give them a 2nd chance to prove their worth. A few days ago I tried to answer a call & could not after repeated attempts I got through to the VERIZON service center and spoke to VASWANA who was very helpful as she explained that I needed a new SIM card because of the upcoming switch to 5G and that I should have been notified way before my phone stopped working and that I needed to go to the very store where I had been treated poorly in the past. I explained to her that 5 years ago I had a spinal cord injury that left me a paraplegic and that only recently I had regained the ability to walk about 40 I am thankful but it hurts. She apologized for VERIZON and offered to give me 2 months off my prepaid account. For which I was very grateful, till I get to the store where they were aware of what had happened & of her promise of 2 months gratis but it turned out the SIM card didnt have to be replaced they got it to work by shutting it down and restarting it. Which Vaswana had me try earlier. But the store refused to give me the promised credit even though they had it in writing in the memo she sent them. Which was for the inconvenience of having to go there. And just to top it off this stores only handicap parking is, Im guessing 120 from their door. I asked about this and was told they rent so thats how it goes. Like VERIZON cant afford a few signs and a bit of concrete. Id guess that would hurt them less than I still hurt from that walk. Thanks Bruce Flood
Dont go here if you actually want to get anything done is less than an hour - and maybe not even then. Verizon manages to have such a poorly run store and stay in business because their phones work the best in this area. Meanwhile their users have to put up with their very poor service standards.
Great stop to get my phone supplies. Fast, Friendly Service.
Was quick and all my questions were answered
VERIZON STOLE MY PHONE THEN TRIED TO MAKE ME PAY IT OFF. we will NEVER USE VERIZON WIRELESS AGAIN. And ill be filing reports with the better business bureau
I have been sitting in this store for well over an hour and a half Im still sitting here I bought a jetpack here only two and a half weeks ago its not working and theyre telling me that Ive got a $35 restock fee and I only paid $50 for the unit the customer service persons name is James and I am very mad right now I have a special needs child and they know it and Ive been sitting here forever Im still sitting in the store and they wont replace it the actual unit did not come with a wall adapter and Ive already paid for 12 gigabytes and I know I dont use that much ever I dont watch videos I dont scream I dont do anything like that they are overcharging me and now theyre trying to rip me off I do not suggest using anything from this store do not come to the store at all Im fixing to drop Verizon completely! Trying to get me in a plan !? No way!!! I have dish coming. My husband is coming down here to get something done! I am buying a new phone elsewhere and switching carriers!
Greeted when I walked in the door. There is no longer tech support here. Basic issues can be answered or helped.
Bought a new phone 📱 and happy 😊.
Always a friendly place. It has become a popular store, expect to wait. You never leave dissatisfied.
We were ready to switch and drove 40 miles to the nearest Verizon Dealership in Waynesville,NC. They were out of both types of cell phones I wanted. The clerk said we should come back in about 2 weeks. To call first to make sure in stock. Unfortunately we have to switch and pay twice the monthly payment than T-Mobile,which has very poor signal in Bryson City,NC!
I found out last Thursday; that my landline phone wasnt working. I asked my son to take the landline device back to Verizon so it could be repaired,.I did this because I am currently taking care of my husband, who, last week, had double hip surgery, and I could not go. He did on Friday. The customer service rep apparently sent me an authorization code and I called my son and provided it to him. And after this was provided, my son said to us that they required that I come into the store and provide a picture ID to prove that I was the account holder.I was upset because I had to make sure my husband had someone at the house to take care of him while I made sure our landline was repaired. So, today, Saturday, I went to the store and said told the tall, long haired customer service representative that there was a device there that was associated to my account and they have my permission to repair it. He said I was 5th in line and theyd get to me at my turn. I told him I dont need to wait and that they have my permission. He walked off! So, I left. Now, I am either going to move my internet service to another provider along with my landline and look into moving my phone service eventually as well. SOMEONE should have simply took my information and handled the landline repair. I have had a long wait(2 to 3 hours) EVERY TIME I have been to this store. Very unhappy with what happened.
My visit to Verizon was excellent. The tec was most helpful and solved my problem. He was very kind and patient with me as I am 74 and not savvy when it comes to these newfangled cell phones.Thanks.
Need some help on my phone... One of the sales ppl tried to help but didnt fix the problem. He told me to call *611, there was nothing he could do for me. I thought Verizon dealt with all issues over the phone or at the store. It was a wasted 30 minute trip there. Plus I did the phone tech before I went to store, and they were the ones that told me to go to store location. 🙄
James was very helpful. Thank you
No matter what, theres always at least one thing that sucks. Not everything, just one. And its different every time. But never a completely satisfying visit.Pro tip...go in 30-45 minutes before closing, they will get you done in a hurry, instead of waiting hours if you go mid day.
I personally think Verizon is great because of how they help you in the the right moment
Your way too high on your prices and the young man that helped me I owed 43 dollars I gave him a fifty and I think he pocketed the money cause start telling me I needed to get a service that will cover anything else I buy. Im sick of the high prices and the sales people need more training on ethics
