The entire experience was wonderful. The only issues were the amount of time it took from beginning to end (though it’s better to take time and get it right than rush and do it wrong) and the vehicle we purchased wasn’t ready to go off the lot so we are in a loaner until it is. If you want someone to work really well with you, work with James Miller.

I came in regarding my tire pressure. The service manager was so kind to us. There were a couple of cars ahead of us and would probably be about 20 minutes. I explained my husband was in the car with oxygen and does have trouble walking. He said for me to wait for a few and he immediately went out and took our car to one of the bays and got the nitro put in. My husband being a little impatient when I didn’t come right out, took his oxygen off and came in looking for me. A huge thank you for helping us so quickly. Each time I have been in the service department, everyone has been very courteous and helpful. Thank you again for the service that we received today from the service department!! Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. I was comfortable with them working on my car. They said 45 minutes for the service and it was 40 minutes to completion. They even mentioned my inspection was due and asked if I wanted it inspected. The bill was very reasonable. Good job folks.

I would not recommend this place of business to purchase a car for anyone!!!! If I was able to I would give this dealer a negative star rating. This service was awful. I was told one thing about the vehicle I was sold. I was pressured into buying a vehicle that wasnt big enough for my family all because the sales team wanted a sale. Once I confronted the manager about the spec sheet on the vehicle not matching what the vehicle that I was pressured into purchasing. They informed me that there was not anything they would do except for me to buy the missing equipment and have it installed at my expense if I wanted the items. I was low balled on my trade-in, by about $3k to $4k. Which I was given way below NADA value and Kelly blue book value for my trade in excellent condition that it was in. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP to anyone to buy from or to service a vehicle from. As the brand new car I was pressured into buying is already having to have parts replaced because they were broke when installed and I was still sold the vehicle. I have already made 2 trips back to the dealership to speak with them to try and fix this issue and nothing has been done. The service I have received it unacceptable and just plain rude and wrong. So take my advice and dont buy anything from them!!!!

Great service but they charge a 3% up charge if you pay with a credit card. I don’t know about anyone else, but I most certainly do not carry a checkbook around with me. Aside from that, excellent service!

I had to bring my truck in due to the alignment being out. I am a tech myself but didnt bring any tools with me and I was on vacation here and they got me in and out in little over an hour without an appointment. Truck drives straight and doesnt pull to the left anymore. Thank you so much! Now I can have peace of mind driving all the way back to Florida.

Our sales person was wonderful, James. He wasnt pushy and got us in a car that is what we needed for our travel needs and was comfortable for us.James rode with us as we tried it out and was very pleasant. I was getting ready to have surgery after I had surgery he asked how I was doing. I would give James 10 stars if it allowed me. Plus he wore his mask. Didnt have to ask him to wear it. Once you deal with Covid you are careful. The financially guy Dan would not wear a mask and when I asked him to put one on he rolled his eyes. There was a sign on the door mask required. But he refused to wear one in front of customers.They worked with our bank that our previous car was with. Unlike other car lots we have been to. Plus only had our credit checked 3 times.

Most professional dealership service center that I have had the pleasure to receive prompt, fair and friendly service from. Service Manager STAN, understood the situation we were in on vacation 600 miles from home, got our vehicle in his shop, assessed the problems and got them all fixed in just a few hours. We were on our way and our vehicle was humming along and back to normal. I cannot thank Stan and his mechanics enough for the work done so well and quickly, as we had a destination ahead that we needed to meet. Thank you. I hope that Stan gets to see this post.

Ray was great but our Tahoe wasnt in the best of shape for what we paid for it a d paul said that he was gonna fix some stuff but when I called to get it done i cant seem to get in touch with anyone and i havevnt been called back either to get it done either also they could really use a better detail team cause the ones they have arent very good .i like my Tahoe and i do relize its a used car but 45000 is alot of money for me not to be happy and i feel like it should have been in better shape and atleast cleaned up better then it was or atleast keep your word and try to fix it to the point where i am happy with it and getting what im paying for cause like i said thats alot of money not to be happy.

I had a free oil change and opted for a tire rotation ($20). Later, I opted for a new air filter for the inside of my car. When I checked out, the bill was almost $90!!! Did I get the gold plated air filter?

They falsely advertised a car at 1500 when I got there they told me 6000. I contacted them to ask about the car. The car was in a different location than where it was advertised. They called me the next morning to confirm that I was coming to look at the car. I drove much farther to see the car. When I got there they refused to sell the car at the price they had it posted for. I asked to speak to the person in charge. The person who came out to talk was rude and argumentative. They promised to have the gm call me in within 24 hours he never did call. I have photos of the advertised price and the car including the vin numbers. I will never return to do any business with this company. I have used their services many times to fix different things on different vehicles. I have even sent people their way for things. Never again, the customer service there has really gone down hill.

I have owned a significant amount of GM products over the years in various locations. I have also owned a significant amount of Mercedes Benz vehicles over the years. The service I have received from Autostar surpasses any of the above mentioned experiences. My first experience with them, for service on my Tahoe Z71 purchased in Florida, led to me buying a Silverado High Country when it came time to trade in my Tahoe. Great job, highly recommended.

Please drive another 20 -30 miles. I came to buy and with a trade. The offer was extremely low and they wouldnt even try to budge on either vehicle. I drove to Asheville and got $9000 yes $9k more than they offered. If they would have been a little flexibile I probably would have made the purchased. Because I didnt accept their offer they immediately they dismissed me. I bought a truck in Asheville that same day. Their truck is still sitting on the lot. This was not the first time I experienced a situation like this from this dealer. Please consider another dealer.

Everything went quickly. However I was not informed about the rebates available for the wipers and air filter I had installed. I was told I needed new tires after only 20300 miles with no explanation as to why the tires should be so worn after so few miles. Finally, the surcharge for credit card customers was most unwelcome.

I am a 2 time High Country Silverado Customer who feels like the benefits of my relationship with Chevrolet keep evaporating. The folks who sit in the budgets meetings crushing numbers continuously do so at the detriment of the consumer. There is a wide disparity between customer loyalty and money saving cutbacks. Ultimately the boys in the budget meetings are disenfrachising the loyal High Dollar customer and have no idea of the ownership experience.

I took my car to have the left front brake hub w/ABS replaced, after an overnight stay I went to pick up the car. I paid for the service and Noticed on the Bill that the Mechanic replaced the Right side Hub .I test drove my car and the problem with the Left Brake was still there.The work order was incorrectly worded and caused this screw up.

I brought my car there and they said it was fixed so i left and got about 15 miles down the road and same issue so I brought it back and they fixed it a second time but low and behold get about the same distance car breaks down again. And now they wont fix it or refund my money!!

I delivered my vehicle to the dealership at the appointed time and was notified to come and pick it up inside the 2 hour window they told me the work would be completed in. Dont be afraid of auto star Chevrolet! They have knowledgable technicians and staff to keep your vehicle safe and mechanically sound. Hands down my best car buying experience ever! When we determined that we needed to purchase another vehicle, I did a lot of research on what vehicle would best suit our needs and narrowed it down to a particular model, a Chevrolet Trax. Then looking at our usage and budget, we decided a one or two year old model would be best. We then used the internet to locate suitable vehicles in our area, and looked at a few in person, but none of them had all the options we were looking for. So then I decided to expand the search radius and the perfect vehicle popped up... at Waynesville Chevrolet.I will admit to a bit of trepidation at the thought of traveling so far to buy a car... what if there were problems, will they care about treating an out-of-towner with the same respect as a local. Well, Im here to tell you, any such worries were completely unfounded. From my very first contact with the staff, I was made to feel comfortable and know that they would be responsive to my needs. I clicked on their website to request more information and got a personal reply within an hour (from Thomas Hopey) on a holiday weekend!! I was given information, not just a canned reply of come see us next week. In my case, they wanted to make sure the car was still available before I made arrangements, but come first thing Monday morning, we received a phone call letting us know it was available and setting up a personalized appointment with someone at the dealership.Then after driving the two hours to Waynesville, we were greeted warmly and paired up with a salesman, Billy Ray Bryant who couldnt have been nicer or more suited to us. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with him, and he made the process go ever so smoothly. He was patient, got answers to every question and made sure the vehicle was just what we wanted. There was no haggling, no game play, no nonsense. He gave us the price, we told him our budget and he kept working until he got the price and financing to meet up with our needs. You cant ask for any more than that.And the paperwork process was smooth and pleasant as well. Kaleb Gulley walked us through everything, explained it all, no pressure, no rushing. And when I called with an issue after getting home, he was just as nice and helpful then as he was before we signed on the bottom line. In fact, several of the staff e-mailed and one called to make sure we were happy, that everything went all right and did we have any problems needing addressed. Wow. From the initial holiday weekend e-mails, to the after the sale followup and care... our experience was pleasant, worry free and I couldnt be happier with the deal that we worked out OR with my new Chevy Trax!!!Thanks staff and management of Waynesville Chevrolet Buick! Thanks for the great deal, treating us well and giving us an excellent buying experience!

Stopped there on a Sunday shortly after they closed hoping to get some technical help in the shop but all the techs were gone. I was assisted by a salesman who gave me some good advise and directed me to a local shop.
