Ken is a good guy will go back and do business with again

Seems there was more things broke on my new 2020 than when it went in. I mean the vehicle only has 40k miles how can things just magically break from when I dropped it off to the time they start working on it.? Pfff, cmon. . . . . Never again.

Ken and his team were the greatest. They helped to correct the bad job done by another mechanic. They took pictures of the mistakes,explained all areas of need..They went the extra mile to make sure my jeep was safe to travel my round trip to work. . I would recommend them to all. Great service, polite and patient in explaining.. I did not feel like I was lost in repairs knew what and why. Thank you and I will definately be back.

I’ve never been personally, but who would want to after finding the OWNER of this establishment threatening a political figure?? How you are still even franchised by Midas is beyond me. But I will say one thing, I have reached out to the proper party in regards to your store, your mannerism, and your professionalism. Based on reviews FOR YEARS, you haven’t had good professionalism since you’ve been running as Advanced Auto. Save yourself the trouble of a hot head, entitled, I can do anything bc nothing can be done to me person and go with your own LOCAL mechanic. Clearly KEN is a sh*t person

Had slow leak on a rear tire, mechanic brought me out to car and showed me the problem and explained how he would fix, and what he did worked

Upon arrival for my oil change I was greated by a couple nice guys so it seemed like a great place to be. After a hour I was confronted by the owner or manager ken whoever he was who clearly has no since of customer service because his attitude and lack of kind words is outstanding. Anyways he tells me my lug nut was previously twarked to hard and is broken off and needs replacing. I asked how much and he said he would get back to me. I asked to take a picture so I could ask my aunt if I should pay for it to be fixed. After proceeding to go out to the shop for a picture he said to me. Now if you can hurry it up because if your not getting it fixed I want to get the car the hell out of my shop because its taking up a space. That was only 1 of the crazy things said to me, I was shaking so bad. I couldnt believe I came here and was stuck for 2 1/2 hours. Midas was such a nice place on the opposite side of Grand Ave what happened? I will NEVER return!!!! I feel bad for his employees!!!

Always a great experience when I visit this Midas location. Staff is great and owner is top notch. Highly recommend these guys for all your maintenance needs.

Went there for an oil change and was beyond helpful. Not only did they do the oil change but they looked at another problem I had without charging me to just look at it. Amazing. And very friendly.

Overpriced oil change, terrible customer service and dont worry, Ken will ALWAYS have the last word-he doesnt value good customer service. Save yourself the time and headache, there are plenty of other places in the area to get an oil change with good customer service. This place deserves zero stars.

Best customer service Ive ever had at a service station! Ken was kind, friendly, and helpful. He was very honest and upfront about what may or may not need to be done to my vehicle. To myself, as well as other customers I watched him interact with, he was willing to go the extra mile. I am pleasantly surprised despite the bad reviews. Having worked in CS myself, I cant help but wonder if the bad reviewers were not the problem... because the attitude and service we received was AWESOME!

Awful costumer service. Scam.I went in for a simple oil change and Ken, the owner told me I needed two new belts asap. I had my mechanic take a look and he said that what Ken had told me was completely untrue. My belts were in great shape.It is very disappointing to see a local business attempt to rip off costumers. Do not go to this Midas for your car repair needs.

Ken and the crew at the NEW Midas are amazing!!!! Best costumer service I have ever received at a service station. They really are looking out for the client and not trying to take your last dime. We will be getting our vehicles serviced here from now on and will advise out family and friends to do the same.

Worst customer service. I had a muffler replaced 3 years ago. They charged me over $700. Now 3 years later it is failing and they want to charge m $560. They werent even apologetic . They were just out for there money. They want me to have extra stuff replaced in order to get the muffler. I had others look at my car and they said no. you only need the muffler. Which for my car is only about $90. They say it is over $300. Be sure you know your stuff and have others look at the car first. You will be thank full you did.

Excellent service!! Saved me $650 from a Madison Honda dealership estimate. They did a complete inspection on my 2002 Honda Accord and were able to have all repairs done the same day. Great job! Oh and thanks for the ride to work and back!!

K...so here is the thing. I was helping out a friend who had made an appointment, for a wheel alignment. Ok, we dropped off his vehicle an hour early, did some errands, and came back 2 hours after my friend was told it would be done. AGAIN....HE HAD AN APPOINTMENT. Dropped off the vehicle, was supposed to be done no later than 2 hrs after we dropped it off. We came back 4 hours later...they still hadnt even looked at his car. We pulled out of the parking lot, went across the street to Firestone....was done in 40 minutes. (no appointment).We all understand things happen. but when the customer comes back 2 hours after it us supposed to be finished...and you never even had the brains to call????? Umm yeah, lost our business.

Terrible place. Was told our oil change would be 20.00 plus tax and when we came to pick it up It’s 50. Also no problems or concerns with my sons car when we dropped it off when we left whole other story. It makes all kinds of noise and feels like something is loose. We are afraid to drive the car now. DONT GO THERE

Had an amazing experience! When faulty lights on our trailer and van left us feeling stranded on a Saturday while traveling through Wausau, Kenny and Kyle help us get back on the road. They were a life saver.

This Midas shop used to be Advanced Auto Care, I took my car in once here for an oil change. Immediately the hard sell started, this guy tried to sell me everything but the kitchen sink for my car. Ill never go back. When this was Advanced Auto Care on Cut off road. My sister took her new Ford Escape there and they told her she had an OIL LEAK.... On a brand new car!! Nothing like a dumb crook! Her car was under warranty, she took it to the Ford dealer for a thorough examination. They found NO OIL LEAK!!! Stay away from this crook!!!

Did a very good job, but had an condescending attitude ..

Both my sons, my ex husband, and I took our vehicles there because it was close and convenient. My oil change cost me over $1000 after immediate repairs were recommended. My sons starter turned into over $1000 worth of repairs. My ex husbands U joint was almost $2000 and the U Joint was never replaced. Over the course of 3 months Advanced Auto Repair took my family for almost $6000. To this day I dont believe any of it was legit.

Terrible service. I came here to get my oil changed recently (which includes tire rotation), and since then, I have noticed immediate issues with my tires.When I called to address my concerns, I was met with a rude, loud individual who saw fit to yell at me instead of trying to help me reach a solution. Bad service, even worse customer service.Dont waste your time or money here!

Incompetent at best, unethical at worst. I recently took my car here for an oil change. They did so and also recommended $800 in repairs. I then took my car to a trusted mechanic I use and he told me none of what they wanted to fix needed to be. I would highly recommend getting a second opinion on any repairs they suggest.

DONT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS MIDAS REPAIR SHOP EVER!!! My son took his car to the Grand Ave Midas in Scofield WI. Had his oil changed and a brake inspection done. They told him there were no pads left on all 4 and all 4 rotors needed replaced. They charged him almost $400 for Labor to do only the replacement of the brake pads. The total job was over $600 for an oil change and just the brake pad replacement!! Unbelievable!!! I called and talked to the owner myself and asked him why the labor was so high and he said you have no idea what all the work entailed. I told him that they were ripping him off on the labor. He was very rude to me and pretty much said that I should of taken it to my fly by night mechanic!! Really!!! My mechanic is very reputable and fair on his prices!! Unlike Midas that takes advantage of people!!! I talked to my mechanic and told him what they did and what Midas was charging and he said that was absolutely ridiculous for the labor!! So now he has new brake pads all the way around but still needs rotors in all 4!! For that price all the rotors should of been included!!! Wow!! Hey owner by the way take a lesson in customer service!! You have no clue what that is!!! I dont know how you can justify those charges and feel good about yourself!!!

Terrible customer service, in person and over the phone. My mother had service on her car here a few weeks ago, and Id like to say that neither she nor anyone else should go here, especially if youre not in the mood for leaving with more problems in your car than what you arrived with, or if you hate rude employees.Seriously, who yells at a customer over the phone though?

To eager to make money of their customers by wheeling them in with their coupon offers then telling them that something else is wrong with their vehicle and it needs to be cared for instantly, and the coupon wouldnt honor all that was said to be honored.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! I went in for a simple synthetic oil change and I am certain that they did not change my oil. I have a brand new Mazda and it sounds HORRIBLE now. Only went because I had a coupon that they said didnt work for the type of oil I needed, which was understandable. My car sounds loud and i just got it, it is a 2012 Mazda 3 and now it stalls to start because I didnt think that anyone could be so lazy and dishonest and I was running late so I didnt think much of it and when my car got louder I thought it might be form use, But it just got louder and louder and now it stalls. I would sue them if i could t hey royally screwed me! I should have watched those dirty mean people! If you care about your car, DONT DO IT!!

Got a quote on brakes about 15% overpriced from what I found elsewhere in Wausau. Plus they have too many bad reviews to go with them.
