Good vibes, and good at what they do highly recommend 💯

I took my project IROCz into Grand Audio with hopes of them fixing my horrendous mistakes. I removed the stock radio and cut the harness. I thought there was no hope to get some sounds. Kim, Josh and Ray all helped me so much. Gave me recommendations to make it all sound the way I wanted it. They priced it all out, gave me an estimate and I went with it. Upon further inspection there were multiple red flags with the previous owners work. They fixed it all!! These guys are the best! Sending referrals always!! Sounds so good!!

I wanted better quality sound out of my speakers. The staff recommended me a cheaper and better way to make this happen than what I thought. The technician did an outstanding job installing my subwoofer and amp. And they saved me about $700. They will always get my business.

This is a very helpful shop. One the technicians helped to pick out a head unit for my car and I chose the Alpine iLX-W650 at a great price. He also helped me understand the audio set up as well. I highly recommend this place. They lady was also very polite. Ill be returning here for sure.

This is one of those places you wont mind spending your money on. The customer service is second to none and they are very honest. They will explain everything to you until you understand it. I got a remote starter from them and they thoroughly explained all options available. Instead of trying to upsell me to their most expensive option, they flat out told me the most affordable one was their number one seller. At the end, it cost me a little less since my car didnt need a certain part. They informed of this instead of charging me what was originally quoted. I would definitely recommend them and their services. However, be mindful that you will have to call in advance to set up an appointment as they do a limited amount of cars per day. They dont rush their work trying to get as many clients, rather they want to do things right and take their time. They also ask for a 50$ deposit. Again, this is to save you a spot as they are very popular. This deposit will apply to your purchase.

I went in to get a radio installed. This was the most honest and ethical car shop I have ever been to. If you want your stuff done right come here! The next day my heat went out (not to any fault of theirs) and they fixed it for me at no cost. These are great people! Much different that the other shops in the area. This is the only place I will trust from here out. Great prices too!!

No stars terrible customer services tech miseducated my sister customer causing headache and stress, by install new radio to replace manufacturers radio, causing woofers to blow when asked to refund money and remove flawed service, they refused, as installation technicians the requirements are to verify service which they did not when asked to correct issue they blamed prior installation technician rather address their own error.

Really good selection. Owner is very nice and knowledgeable. Prices are fair and the owner will work with you on the price. Used to be they only take cash but now they have a debit card/ credit card machine reader so yay!

I bought my first subwoofer and amp from Grand Audio in 1988, we decided to upgrade our speaker system in our 2017 Toyota Highlander we wanted to keep the factory radio. Kimberly directed us to the right parts for the vehicle. The installation was excellent and I am very pleased with the outcome. Oh and we added a subwoofer with those speakers.

I went in for a whole new system (amp, speakers, and head). I have a Lexus SC400 and they arent the easiest cars to work with. Kim and her team are real pros. I honestly feel like the guys at Grand Audio put my car back together better than how it was when i bought it. None of the panels squeaked or anything after i got it back. Sound and function of the new equipment are phenomenal. You might pay a little less at other places but you wont get the kind of quality work you get at Grand Audio anywhere else. Im coming back soon for a security system. Great people to do business with.

Let me just start off by saying I don’t do reviews often at all, I must either be very impressed or very disappointed. I am very impressed with the customer service that these folks have to offer for a couple reasons. The reason why I stopped by was because my stock rear door speakers and my amp weren’t working after I installed my aftermarket head unit, amp and subwoofer. My front stock door speakers were working fine but for some reason the rear door speakers weren’t, my amp was also on but my subwoofer wasn’t working. So after checking the car out with the help from the folks over at Grand Audio, we determined that it wasn’t because a wire was misplaced/loose or because I installed anything wrong. My subwoofer ended up being junk even though EVERYTHING was working just fine 2 days prior. So after explaining some possible reasons as to why my rear speakers weren’t working nor the subwoofer and after checking my cars wires and fuses from bumper to bumper AFTER the store hours, we ended up disconnecting the amp (for precautious reasons).Now I’m going back to buy a amp and a subwoofer over at Grand Audio.I thank them for their patience and their professionalism.

First off let me say that the owner is very nice and professional. The workers explained to me thoroughly about my 05 Prius speakers that sterio plus inc messed up. Overall great experience, very friendly, and care for the car just as much as you do. Highly recommend.

So I’ve purchase plenty from here and to tell you the truth you pay for quality and knowledge! They know what their doing here. If quality and CORRECT installation is what your looking for from a certified installer and not a backyard installer this is the place to go. To many people bad mouthing cause they broke and can’t afford quality. Can’t have Champaign taste with beer money! To many shops cutting corners and not doing correct installs. At least here you pay for better work and better products.

Ive lived around this place my entire life and have purchased things from them in the past and have had friends purchase items in the past as well. Ive been out of car audio for the past 4 years or so and have just gotten back into it. Although I did not purchase my equipment from them I did still go in there to ask about products that they had and to see if they could get certain things in. Either way I went in today to see if they carried any agm deep cycle batteries. The owner, she brought me over to her display of shurikan batteries and said yes. Knowing that shurikan is a sub par battery manufacturer that uses cheap recycled lead and over shoots on the ah ratings I said that I was looking for northstar or xspower and she promptly suggested I go to oreillys which obviously is a dumb joke. I was annoyed by this and decided to ask my last question. Which was if she carried any 4 gauge dual amp inputs. She proceeds to show me the wrong products and says that she doesnt have those and then questions me why I would want to have dual inputs in the first place. I responded by telling her that I was simply adding one more step to re enforce my voltage. She then comes over to her power wire display and shows me crappy stinger and q power wire saying I should just use better wire. This to me is an insult. Plain and simple. This all adds on to the last time I was there asking if they could tune my system with an oscilloscope and they dont even have one!!! This means whoever goes there probably gets there car tuned by ear and has no idea at what volume they begin to clip and have no idea how accurately their gains are set. This topped with the really bad equipment they sell was just too much for me. So be warned if you want flea market quality this is the place to go!! Crappy audiopipe amps that dont do rated power and are in efficient. Really bad ds-18 speakers that cant do rated rms hardly. And bad wire options. She does have some good stuff but most is low quality trash. Shes impossible to talk to and will disregard what you say to your face. I do not support this shop and I hope she starts looking into what car audio is now and can pass that on to the people because its not happening now. We need a REAL bass shop in lake county not just another one thats as bad as waukegan itself.

Asked to have a cable ran from the fuse box to the stereo because the stereo wasnt turning on and they were trying to charge me the full install fee $95 even when thr stereo was already in place.

Charged 400 bucks for a radio installation charged me for stuff I didnt need, asked a different audio shop and they told me they put things that were not necessary to have.
