The owner and her staff are very knowledgeable and obliging. It is a great place for socializing and indulging in your favorite hobbies. They will even special order something if they do not have it 💖

The guy that was helping us was very nice and patient and was able to answer all questions with a very good and well rounded answer, he was very knowledgeable and they tended to have better prices than a lot of other places where you can buy game equipment here in AK

Ok so the only thing that I had a Problem with was I didnt have enough money and time to spend here. Great place and I will recommend them to everyone who games very knowledgeable had what I was looking for witch was a long shot since the other places didnt have what I was looking for. You can easily spend the day just talking to them and drooling over everything.

Awesome friendly game shop. Have gone multiple times for everything from MTG, Pathfinder, Dungeons and Dragons, and more. Very family friendly and has a place for kids. Great availability of everything you could ever need. Cant recommend Game Theory enough.

Hands down the best spot for tabletop gaming in the Valley. Player base is welcoming, friendly and down-to-earth.I really appreciate the store owners great attitude, especially compared to other hobby store owners in the valley.

Love this place when i moved back here to alaska from out of state i was a little dissipointed that area 51 was closed then i heard about game theory and it is just as good if not better then area 51

Great family running the business and love that they really enjoy the games and events themselves that they put on.they are more than happy to order whatever they dont have. Lots of little trinkets and other cool stuff than what you find from the big publishers. Lots of board games for sale too.

I love the shop owner, very knowledgeable and always helpful. When he doesnt know the answer he looks it up instead of giving you some line of BS. Great selection of Warcraft and MTG as well as others. Low prices as well on booster packs

Game Theory is a breath of fresh air to the few small game shops we have within driving distance, in the valley/ anchorage. The selection for GW product is small, but that is a good thing as when bought, new stuff gets ordered in to fill those spots. It removes the situation where product sits on the sale shelf for months or even years not moving like a couple of the other places I shop at.The owner is very kind and always pleasant to talk to when I go in. She was so kind as to order some AOS ork products for me, and when the distributor sent the wrong thing, she jotted me down for the correct thing for the following shipment.I try my hardest to shop locally, and while there is 5 game shops within driving range, i find myself shopping at two of the smaller ones for various reasons.Game Theory is one of the more frequent locations i stop in. If Amber doesnt have it, she will look up the sku and order it for you and that is the excellent customer service that has me constantly going back there.The setting is comfortable and open, and seemingly it isnt as known yet among the community so its never as packed when i go in.I will keep 90% of my miniature shopping with GT when i stay in the valley.Won me over as a customer.
