Honest, hardworking, ACTUALLY fixes what needs to be done and goes above and beyond to get your vehicle right. Doesn’t overcharge and gives it to you straight. Would literally send my Grandma to them (which I have and they fixed a mess another mechanic had left without a second thought!)

GREAT SERVICEMy daughter spent a total of $1687.44 at an Anchorage automotive repair shop. Her car ran worse after each of the two “repairs.” I took it to Brian at A & E, and now it is finally running correctly. He had to do an extensive search for a part, because it is no longer produced, and also discovered that the Anchorage repair shop had broken another part while installing it.Thank you Brian.

Brian might be a little rough around the edges but if you want an honest mechanic and honest prices he is your guy. He helped me immensely with some work nobody else wanted to touch. He is a super talented mechanic. I heard about his shop from people constantly raving about the fact he is doing favors for people down on their luck. His shop is modest but dont let that discourage you. He is a great mechanic and super fair.

Being an actual customer i can say i have never once been treated in anyway except for professional, and talked to politely. Everybody, especially Brian, went out of there way to help me out, fix my car after another shop was a total joke and did so while explaining everything how i would actually understand. On top of the great service, they still came back almost 1000$ less then the other shop quoted me while doing additional repairs.

My 2014 Silverado had a failing transmission, and I needed it fixed quickly before a long road trip. Using the recommendations of so many - I called A&E Automotive. Not only was it a job well done, it was completed on short notice and in time for my road trip!

Awesome!! Ask for, Brian, and he will set you up. They made a mistake and replaced the wrong axles wheel bearing and seal and still had the correct wheel done within a couple hours at no extra charge. Theyre very honest and straight to the point

I took a list of things the dealership said I needed to Brian. Turns out I didnt actually need ANY of those things (they quoted over $800 worth of work to be done!) Brian and his team are highly recommended!!

I had issues with my transmission and was referred here by a co-worker. They attempted to diagnose my new transmission that wasnt acting right; for free. When no solution was found(only detectable under specific circumstances), I was able to take a picture of my sticky shifting from 4th to 5th gear. The shop owner/manager? spent time researching service bulletins online and not only found my exact issue described, but its covered under my insurance and MAZDA will be fixing it. They didnt get a dime out of this entire situation - I walked away happy. Ill be referring others to them and returning if ever needed.... thanks guys!

Brent or Brad whatever his name is, is trash. Customer service sucks, one transmission builder on staff (has another job) has not touched my vehicle in 6 weeks. Company sucks and I will never recommend anyone use. Aboslutely pathetic!
