Nailed it with our first dinner here in Rome. Even though place seemed to be only locals, waitress was fluent in English and helped us with deciding what to get (since menu was only in Italian). We did the appetizer and carbonara pasta. Great meals, owners were super friendly, made us feel very welcome.

The best Carbonara you will ever have in Rome, a bit far from the city centre but totally worth it
Honestly, food was good, but nothing else! We were totally ignored and needed to call waitress when needed. Finally, check won’t come in forever. I have never been charged for table bread. They charged 4€. This is ripoff after decent food. When you operate a restaurant, some level of professionalism is expected.

Good restaurant, one of the very few that brings burrata and mozzarella at room temperature - praise them! - the appetizers are classic, the bruschettone with burrata is recommended. The carbonara - Im a vegetarian, I havent been able to taste it in its entirety, but I tasted the egg and pecorino base, excellent - I was told to be truly remarkable and I cant believe it. The cacio e pepe is not the best in the world, but it is good. For the rest it is a place where you can eat with pleasure even if in the end the prices are a little too high
Beautiful and cozy environment, very cool apartment. There is no wine list but there is a canteen to choose from, I found it a fun, different and interesting move. The proposal is for a restaurant of Roman food that differentiates itself with some cooking that makes it different like the gricia with artichoke. Starter with a board of cold cuts and good grilled vegetables, the dish is served with medium hard brisquetta. The main dish was the famous carbonara that won a trophy here in Rome. I didnt think that making a reservation at 10pm in a restaurant, with an attached previous call to ensure decent service, would lead me to overdo it and feel uncomfortable going out to eat for dinner.The person who served us at the beginning and with whom we made the payment at the end, sinned of little hospitality, revealing an evident haste in taking orders with even a veiled but obvious annoyance that hovered during our meeting. I leave with a belly not full but swollen and a strong emotional discomfort. I highly recommend the staff to think twice about confirming a reservation at a given time, if you dont have the means, the ways but above all the desire to welcome and satisfy your customers.

If you like pasta, you cant miss Osteria Sette. Frankly I do pasta like they do it Ive never eaten anywhere else. Simply excellent. Courtesy and helpfulness of the staff at the highest levels. You have the impression of eating with your family, what more could I want? To try absolutely.

Excellent osteria, one of the few places in the area where you can enjoy pasta with tail ragù alla vaccinara. A good opportunity to taste a typical dish of the Roman tradition, but surely the other classics will also be pleasant surprises.

You just have to adapt to very tight spaces.The dishes are tasty, of good quantity; maybe only the price is a little high.Last time I wanted to vary compared to the classic carbonara and amatriciana and I was happy with the spaghetti taken (although, to be honest, I found them a little too al dente and cold).Finally, put your soul in peace for parking: the area is densely inhabited and moreover the usual bad habit of parking in a double row applies ...

Entered yesterday x case on the return of holidays and were pleasantly surprised. The exterior is austere but the interior is welcoming and nice. Nice and friendly staff. Very good and abundant dishes, pity not having ordered the dessert, but we were really full with a first course and a second course divided by two.
Very good, high prices, but the quality is paid, and I start from an assumption that if I want to go out to eat, I want to eat well and I am willing to pay something more for the food that satisfies the palate and leaves me a good memory . I take away a star for two logistical reasons (assuming we were in the room below): tables a little too close, without raising your voice / eavesdropping too much, you hear the speeches of the other diners, and alas, not very family friendly. We were 4 adults and 2 girls of 1.5 and 2.5 years old and when we asked for the high chair for the smallest one, we were told it wasnt there. And that meant that we had to take turns eating, which is not exactly welcome when you decide to eat out. Of course, also dragging the stroller down a narrow flight of stairs is not the best. But the conformation of the room is like this and therefore either it suits you, or it suits you;)
