Severely over priced and pretty rude service. If you can at all avoid this place I recommend to. That said, it’s super convenient and the selection for such a tiny store isn’t bad. If you’re headed out on a train and don’t have time its an easy place to grab some alcohol for your trip. That said, if you have some time, i’d recommend walking down Massachusetts ave to Schneider’s liquor rather than spending your money here.
I frequent this store and talk to the employees in Spanish. I went in to buy a bottle of wine and one of owners told me to stop speaking Spanish when interacting with her employees. When I was checking out she refused to sell me the bottle until I showed proper identification (I showed her my license).
Nice spot to do quick pick up but over price.
Probably the most limited alcohol selection in the city. But youre not here for choices. Youre here because youre at Union Station and want a bottle of wine.Bonus: Per the cashier, you can drink in the food court so you might want two bottles.
Wow...dont know what to say other than I went there to get a bottle of tequila and mix for margaritas (already had the triple sec) and had to buy a .75 L bottle of the pre-made Cuervo stuff. It was $20!!! Went to the H St Liquor store and bought a .75 bottle of Cuervo Tequilla (where does a guy have to go to get a decent bottle of booze in this city?) for $17. Go somewhere else unless its snowing and youre already there.
Very expensive... literally double the price of alcohol outside of Union Station
Too expensive and selection too small
Good
Limited selection
