One of the few ice cream shops in the Chevy Chase area and it’s very unique.

I swear this was the best ice cream/sorbet I’ve had in eons. I got the mint chip ice cream and the raspberry lime sorbet- the flavors were very clean and super bright. There were no weird aftertastes, at all. My friend got the strawberry crème fraîche and peach pie. Both were SO good- especially the peach pie. There didn’t appear to be any chunks of weird “crust” like many pie flavors do. Probably just my own bias towards pie that’s like 95% fruit and 5% crust but I digress.

A great ice cream and sorbet spot. Nice parking behind so easy in and out. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The dark chocolate sorbet and blueberry ginger ice cream make a great combination.

Decent ice cream but way too expensive

This is our favorite ice cream and bakery place. It’s a great shop and they treat our son’s allergies with care. A neighborhood gem!

Nothing here is dull - every flavor is intentional. The mango flavor is unapologetically bold.

Amazing ice cream!

There are many, many coffee and pastry shops and other venues with light fare in the DC area. Almost all of them advertise themselves as quiet areas where you can study and get work done whilst enjoying a tasty treat or two. However, almost all of these shops are only good at the latter, if that. I highly recommend Sugar Fox because it is a quiet, peaceful location to hang out and get some business done. The fact that they have truly amazing chocolate milkshakes, very friendly staff, and complementary water makes them even more appealing. I use voice activated software, and I also have a sensory perception disability. This makes it next to impossible to hang out in your average Starbucks. I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend Sugar Fox as an awesome hangage space. Just make sure you order some of their tasty treats as well!

They have a strawberry creme fraiche ice cream that is completely out of this world.

Sugar Fox was a much needed addition to this block of Connecticut Ave! Delicious and fun for the whole family, at least 1-2 dairy free sweet treats on the menu year round. The staff are always friendly. You can find some of their treats next door at Red Fox as well.

I’m happy to have another local business on the block and Sugar Fox brings an enthusiastic, fun vibe - who doesn’t love sugar?!? Their ice cream is fantastic, especially the surprisingly vegan dark chocolate. A simple malted vanilla shake takes me back to my youth. Like their sister store, Little Red Fox, I still struggle with the prices compared to portion size. Either the former should be dropped or the latter increased a bit to balance value. Overall, the staff are super friendly and always share their favorite flavors with you as you decide on your final taste!

Hi, I’m not a food critic but I do like to give feedback. I loved this place the sugary treats were just right . The service was alright the server had a nice attitude. But she seemed a little tired and down. But this might just be in my opinion. But she did get the job done and the food was amazing. So this is why I’m giving you 5 stars

Tiny but mighty! Their few flavors are just intensely delicious! Had a piece of Washington Nationals cake that was insane! It had red frosting which usually has a bitter after taste, but not this red frosting. It was sweet and rich and sinfully satisfying! Sugar Fox is a winner!

Limited choice of ice cream made with milk from South Mountain Dairy. Venue the size of a closet, no privacy, and better as a walk in/out parlor.Great service, but ice cream just, how should I say...mediocre. Little City Creamery same type venue but much much much better ice cream choices, as well as flavors.

Excellent home made ice cream, sheet cakes and cupcakes served by friendly locals. The strawberry creme fraiche, peach pie and Oreo flavors are particularly good. Pie dough sprinkles are a nice finishing touch.

Ice cream was phenomenal. I got 2 scoops. Oreo and strawberry and it was fantastic. The staff were quite nice and friendly.

Good. Carrot cake cupcake is good $3.50, and staff is attentive. Worth a visit.

Good ice cream but one employee by himself on a Saturday night is a fail, shouldnt wait 20 mint for a $5 scoop.
