Hartwalker installed an extensive smart home system in our house. They did a great job but have not provided reliable support. Many of the products they installed requires a dealer’s exclusive access to fix problems or modify the system. Unfortunately, Hartwalker rarely responds to communications, and when they do, they are booked out for weeks or months. We switched dealers to get more reliable service.

Steve is extremely kind and helpful! Very professional and knowledgeable. He is not pushy with sales. He makes certain to meet your needs and help assist with your set up. I recommend this company and will continue to refer others. Thanks Hartwalker Automation!

Hartwalker Automation has far and above, exceeded our expectations. They were very good at explaining our many electronic and window covering options available in our new home and their prices were highly competitive. The installation of the items purchased was prompt and very neat. Once all items were installed, they made sure the required applications to use them were downloaded and we understood how to operate them. The Hartwalker team was very helpful and professional. We look forward to purchasing additional items for our home in the near future. We highly recommend them.

Had Hartwalker install a home automation system (50K+) in our vacation home in St. George. Install seemed to go well, but started having problems immediately after. Issues have been constant (AV connectivity, security/locks, router/internet, etc) and other parts (lighting scenes) were never configured. Weve also been dealing with a loud beep you can hear through the entire house about every 45-90 seconds (for the past 6 months). They did come out a couple times to try and fix things, but have now ghosted us for the last dozen+ contact attempts over the past several months. Beep still happening...there it goes again. Cant turn on theatre room, smart remotes disconnected. And the beep. Moving on from these guys.

We choose HartWalker Automation because they were the contractor chosen by the builder to pre-wire our home during the construction process. We had a pre-wire meeting and met with Steve Walker and Klint Hart of HartWalker Automation. This might be the right time to thank S&S Builders for using HartWalker because we have had nothing but great relations with HartWalker since.We were able to set the ground work for future expansion of our initial system which includes several cameras, interaction with the alarm monitoring service, door locks, a/c control, lighting, surround sound, and other sound outputs etc. all monitored and controlled locally, remotely and securely via our cell phones and local devices ( tv remote looking thingies ). Pretty awesome stuff!These guys are wizards at this stuff. They have been forthcoming when answering questions as to what can and cannot be done as well as coming up with solutions for the odd requests like dealing with unplanned device control.Service. OK. We all want what we want, when we want it. Right? Well, we might not quite get all of that. We all need to realize that we are not HartWalker’s only customer. So with all of that said, we can say that there has been nothing that didn’t get addressed. In fact, HartWalker has met our needs in a timely fashion, cordiality and with professional expertise.We’re glad we have HartWalker on our team and highly recommend them. Diana and Dan McGinty
