I enjoy getting my sea moss and other natural healing or supplement needs from this location. Its small; but packed with essentials of life. They follow guidelines of the city, normally no more than 2-3 customers at a time with a staff of 2-3. Wait to access the store ranges, by time of day and speed of others inside making selections. Friendly staff and location is easy to find, sometimes unlike parking. My spot to visit every month.

Very unpleasant experience. Just call them youll see how drained and draining their energy is. They’re short and rude to their customers. I attempted to bring my friend with me, but the vibe was soo off he didnt even purchase his material. They are NOT informative about their products and or services. As i over heard them talking to customers bith in person and over the phone. The woman asked about shipping and bulk ordering and he just kept interjecting to tell her to check online (telling her he was unsure and repeatedly telling her to check online.) she was onspeaker very poised and patient she didnt nag nor brag . It just was not it at all. I find it disheartening to say because im black i really really wanted to support them especially since there are no real botanicas is dc. But girl no no no no i will meditate with my herbs for six days and nights before i allow anything from this shop into my body or home. With love snd amazon i hope yall found this helpful.

Im always excited to visit herbal stores but this visit was definetly THEE MOST beneficial one yet. Ramone was awesome to speak with, he was quite pleasant for my spirit. I got all I needed AND some good books, plus some good laughs from the team. Go check them out asap

Great selection of herbs and products but customer service is non-existent. I came in here with a friend and was met with childish flirting and teasing by the two (unmasked) men at the counter. We could chill and browse in peace because they thought it was so funny to berate us during our shopping experience. We left really unsettled.

I’m happy I dont have to go all the way to MD for my herbs and Shea butter. The gentlemen in the store where helpful, friendly and funny. My receipt was long but my pockets aren’t short. My new favorite store!! FR! The store was clean and I like the point and pick service I got. Super helpful. And the Sea-moss drinks they have are on point. And wait can I geek out about their Bay Leaves. They are big and long great for those who manifest and set intentions that way. But long story short they have pretty much everything you need.

Ive known about Blue Nile since my Howard days and I can find always find the essential herbs I need. I was searching high and low for elderberries, horehound, and wild cherry bark and Blue Nile had it all. Definitely an asset to the Black community and I dont mind driving an hour to support them!

Look I think everyones should at the very least visit this shop they have lots of healthy dietary natural products here, they offer a vast selection of items you may only see at this shop. The older gentleman that runs the shop is very knowledgeable. Go check it out its very worth it.

They have a bit of everything! Incense, essential oils, sage, and so many different herbs etc. I get chamomile here in bulk and its so reasonable. They are extremely knowledgeable and will get you exactly what you need. They also have delicious sea moss shakes. I highly recommend them.

Very knowledgeable, helpful, and most importantly had what I needed! They are practicing social distancing which made me even more comfortable with shopping.

Despite the fact that I called there ten times between 10am and 12 noon to find out when they opened before driving down there, it was a pleasant experience once they opened at 12:30pm and I was able to browse. I didnt quite get what I came there for but I did leave with some really nice things. I advise you to have a little knowledge of the products you want beforehand because its a one man show and he is very busy at the register.

This place gets only a two star from me. They have many products that people may need. The customer service and the energy doesnt sit well with me. I called twice today in search for Jawaad who referred me to someone. The guy who answered the phone is sarcastic, egotistical, inconsiderate, abrupt, and rude. Be assured that I will inform Jawaad and let him know that this is why BLACK OWNED businesses arent always ideal and supported.

They sell fake Seamoss. The seamoss I bought from them wasn’t real, it had large strans mixed with salt. This was grown in a pool, which means is has no Nutritional value. Real seamoss has thin Stan’s and No Salt! It should also be dry.

I go to Howard University which is located directly across the street from the Blue Nile. I have been going here since my freshman year and now I am a senior about to graduate. I absolutely love this place. They have everything you need. Herbs for just about anything(blood pressure, diabetes, menstrual cramps, respiratory, endocrine, testosterone and ext.). If you make your hair products this is also the place to get all of your natural hair ingredients.
