I went a few weeks ago to this Sephora. It was my first time here. I was assisted by Martha! As soon I came in she greeted me with a smile and asked me for help. I had several items I needed which she helped me find super fast! I appreciate her kindness and assistance!
Was made aware of Fashion Fair relaunch! So of course I purchased some products!
This new location is so awesome! Gets really busy on the weekends but there selection is faboulus
I think that I forgot a Pencil Case in this store,Im trying to communicate with the sellers but I cant.
My mom and I walked in for a pick up order. My mom had forgotten her mask in the car so she walked back out. In that time I was approached by a staff member (short Asian women) “we’re closed”. Which I explained we were picking up an online order that was already paid for, and the door was still unlocked. She rudely shoo’d me away locking both doors behind me before I can even walk out of the store completely. This is a case of it’s not what you do it’s how you do it. She was very RUDE!
Was helped by Todd to find my perfect foundation match! He was so funny, polite & so patient with me! Ive never been treated so well, I was certainly taken care of. Helped me find my winter match. Highly recommend this spot, all of the employees were very sweet.
Unreal experience at the Georgetown Sephora on 9/13/2020. Walked in and was immediately greeted by a woman named Renee (I think), she was so sweet and immediately helped me find what I was looking for. Then I had some questions about skincare, she sent me to the aisle where I was greeted by the manager, Jesse. He truly knows his stuff and suggested products that were so up my alley and listened to my concerns. I was so impressed with this Sephora crew. Every person I came in contact with, went above an beyond to help! Store was so clean and followed all CDC guidelines. Will be coming back to the store exclusively. Thank you Sephora crew-- you all made my day!
CS is usually MIA. There are three reps that I believe had above average service and I definitely remember how they went above and beyond to help me find products over my visits. The rest do a bad job matching foundation and having product knowledge. They have all the greatest brands. Good location just don’t expect to find a park.
Honestly I had the best Sephora experience at this location. All the employees were super helpful, fast and friendly. They helped me find every brand and product I was looking for. Even though there was only one cashier at the time, she moved through people quickly. That typically doesn’t happen and I will be coming back because the customer service was so good.
Had my makeup done by Mel on Saturday morning and she did an EXCELLENT job. Not only was she knowledgeable about everything she was using but she also gave great tips on makeup and facial care. I received compliments all day on my make up. Couldnt have asked for more and will be using her again the next time I need something done. THANKS MEL!!
Beautiful store and extremely nice people
Very good location. Workers here are nice and helpful. The store is a bit crowded and looks a bit tight comparing to other Sephora stores in Pentagon City Mall and Tysons Corner Mall, but that is expected to have in the middle of George Town.Very good place overall.

The employees here greeted me with smiles and asked if they could help. Such a difference from other beauty stores Ive visited, especially lately! They were all very helpful and knowledgeable on the products I had questions about. Ill definitely be returning to this location for anything else!
Finally!! More locations to spend my money. I love the smell of a new Sephora store. This place is way bigger than the F st location but not as big as Georgetown (with 2 floors). And equal balance of makeup, skincare, and hair products. Friendly staff. Already gets busy on the weekends.
I work up the street and always have a good experience. I typically stop by at least once a week, and the representatives are always great. Today I made an appointment to get my make up done, and Ashley did a PHENOMENAL job. She was incredibly helpful. She asked questions about my preferences and how I apply my make up; meeting and exceeding expectations. Extremely outgoing artist! I left feeling beautiful and purchased 3 items she used. Overall, great day and still rocking my freshly baked face.
Hit and miss. Sometimes I meet a customer service oriented associate and other times, not so much.

I spent this afternoon with Todd and he was the most attentive person Ive met at this store. Hes constantly taking your feedback about what you like and dont like and blends his expertise with your judgement. I couldnt have asked for better?

I love what Sephora has to offer but the employees make or break the experience for me and it is typically a bad experience. I normally go in with my makeup already done as I am a makeup artist and immediately the associates ignore me, dont speak, and act like they dont hear me when I ask for help. Not sure what all the shade is for but all customers should be helped regardless. You cant hate on other makeup artist because their makeup looks better. There has only been one store that I have been too and all of the employees were nice and helpful and that was on 14th st.
I always buy my beauty product from Sephora and well aware of the return policy, which is the item for return should have 50% or more unused. Was in Georgetown Sephora yesterday and tried to return a product to get a different one since it did not work for my skin. Was refused the return, stating that it should be unused or lightly used. Took the same product another Sephora and asked them again what is the policy, and got the same answer I knew for years now, and the item was returned with no problem. I just had to waste extra 30 minutes of commute to return the item in another store. Will never be back Georgetown location.

This is my go-to Sephora due to the diversity of the staff and selection. I appreciate receiving ideas and thoughts from all nationalities.Great selection of makeup and brands. Staff is ALWAYS helpful and knowledgeable (Corey helped me tremendously today......saved me from my eyebrows looking like bird wings!).The store is conveniently located right on M Street and there is street parking.UPDATE: Went back to find a tinted moisturizer and powder. Khiara was wonderful in helping me color match perfectly!
Their customer service is EXTREMELY lacking. I went there to buy some foundation and other beauty supplies and the entire time I was there no one asked me if I needed any help, if I found everything I was looking for, or if I wanted any services, they treated me like I was invisible. If I wanted an experience void of human interact and assistance I would just shop online, which is the better option than going to this store.

Every time i go to this salon I have to see Martha. Personally i think she is one of the best employees working there. She is knowledgeable about the products and is very helpful with questions that i have. I recommend to visit this sephora and request Martha if youre looking into trying something new or have questions about products.

I live in VA which has 3 Sephoras close to my home, but I chose to visit this specific Sephora in Georgetown because of the customer service reviews. Sure enough as soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted and asked if I needed help. I had an appointment to try the Perk facial with Marita. She was very nice, helpful, suggested light weight skin care products for my oily skin, and she was gentle with my face. After my Perk facial, I browsed through the skin care products and received additional help from other employees. I always ask questions for customer service is important to me. Also, I observed that these employees communicate well with each other which makes the customer service even better. Although this Sephora store is out of the way for me, I will return.Other information:Parking is on the street;2 levels (skin care on the upper level).
The selection of products is fantastic and the location is great but the staff could stand to be a little nicer. I’ve visited this store multiple times and I’m disappointed by the customer service almost every time

The worst sephora I have ever been too. The staff is very busy, which is fine, but were very rude. The salesperson refused to acknowledge me and then waved her finger in my face and told me to wait. Go next door to blue mercury for excellent service.
Great staff and collection
I was in need of a mask and I had no one to ask for help. There was a class being done on the upper level, so I understand that the 2 ladies there couldn’t do anything at the moment and another lady was helping a customer in the hair care section. I head back downstairs to look around at the make up and was interested in getting a color match. But after arriving down stairs, the 3 ladies in the front of the store having a conversation rather than helping the other customers that are around. And I’m shocked by this as someone who works in retail. Then this Asian man came in asking for some products he had on the phone and the ladies stood there as if he interrupted something important, when all they were talking about is their Zodiac signs. The only person that asked if I was ok was the gentleman in the fragrance section.I love the Sephora has a variety of product from other companies, but this store and several other locations lack in customer service.
Come in this location about once a month. Only because the staff goes above any beyond & very friendly. They have a amazing selection, a little expensive but the quality is well worth every dime

The Cashier tells people they can’t return after 20 times a year. RUDE who tells people that if they don’t ask and did not come to return but purchased. SHE NEEDS TO BE RETRAINED.
