The Washington Coffee Shop has a great atmosphere where you can unwind and chat with friends or spouses. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves there. She ordered the Turtle Expresso and I had the Butter Beer. Both were good, but we both enjoyed the Turtle more. We both ordered the Bacon, Egg and cheese croissant and thought it was okay. Nothing great. Then we tried the muffins. Carrot cake muffin and a Blueberry muffin. Those were both delicious! I recommend those.Over all it was a pleasant experience and we plan to return.
I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere was very cozy and calm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I tried the River Fog Tea and a tuna salad on a croissant. The croissant just melted in my mouth. And the tea was perfect! I bet Iβll be craving it again in a few days.
We were visiting Washington to view the worlds largest steam locomotive. We stopped for a delightful lunch! My husband had the roast beef sandwich. I had the garden salad with chicken. Food was fresh and tasty. Nice atmosphere, internet connection, and friendly folks! Clean. Check it out!
Place is good for just about anything!! But service was a little late to getting to everyone!
Coffee & pastries were delicious. Charming decor.
Lovely little coffee shop. Super friendly staff and just an all around neat place to hang out!
TRE BIEN!!!!!! The chai goes so HARD! That little brunette with the name beginning with J went above and beyond by informing about every ingredient that is in said chai. Lovely.... would recommend to my uncles, aunties and mothers LOL.
Lovely coffee shop in down town Washington. Love the eclectic artistic decor. Good service. Good coffee. It was very comfortable and cute.
It was a great place with good vibes. I had the ham egg and cheese cheese sandwich and it was very good, and I could tell it is fresh.
Great coffee. Lots of options. Great customer service.
The Washington Coffee Shop what can I say its coffee... or is it? This little coffee shop has a lot going for it! Our first visit we were pleasantly surprised. This little coffee shop has an ambiance that is a force to be reckoned with. They have a huge variety of flavors and a staff that will make you whatever you want no matter how ridiculous it is and are happy to do it. So why only four stars you might ask. Well they dont offer wifi not this is not a huge deal at all unless you want to set in there lovely establishment and do some work. That is just a little mark which can be address no problem. Or maybe it shouldnt be! A must visit place for any coffee lover who is tired of the plastic look of your everyday Starbucks.
The food we ordered wasnt the greatest but the drinks were fantastic. Cant wait to get more coffee there!
My mixed coffee was just way too sweet and it made the coffee a thick syrupy texture. I drank about 1/4 until I just couldnt take it anymore. And it was over $7 what a waste.
Amazing coffee and great atmosphere!! Perfect to go to for a lunch date
Nice place. Staff was very nice. Biscuits were good. Coffee was good. Internet was good.
Good. But tasted more like desert than coffee
Loved their roast beef sandwiches! But stingy with their sweet onion jam, wouldnt sell me a pint or cup of it.
Ive seen the building for years but for some reason never stopped in for a drink. Today was finally the day . . . and I cant believe Ive waited this long to have the best coffee of my life. Ive only tried two flavors: The Butterbeer Frapp and The Black Forest, although I personally didnt care for the Black Forest because the chocolate was overpowering the amoretto/cherry flavor but I think chocolate lovers would appreciate it more. The best coffee Ive ever tried was hands down the Butterbeer -- its an absolute must try. They also have humorous memorabilia that you can buy as shown in the pictures, and the cashier helping us was very friendly -- however the older woman making our drink seemed kind of rude; maybe she was just having a rough day but it really didnt effect our experience negatively. They have a lot of drink options, as well as cookies, bread, scones, bars and muffins. The location was a breeze to find; plenty of parking spaces and places to sit inside without feeling crowded. I would definitely recommend trying Washington Coffee Shop if you havent already.
My favorite coffee in Washington. Try an iced mocha with a pump of orange π
A delightful coffee shop with the friendliest staff. The coffee menu is unique and has something for every taste. Whether you just want hot coffee or something different like a Frappe. They also serve breakfast and lunch food which is pretty delicious. The biscuits and gravy, served Saturday and Sunday only, is very good!
Good ambience. Feels classic
My husband and I come here every Saturday! The coffee is delicious, the people who work here are wonderful, and the atmosphere is great for quiet chatting or studying!
The Coffee was very good, Bteakefast Sandeatch. Was good but need more cheese.
Excellent service and excellent food.
Quaint coffee shop in the adorable town of Washington, MO. Took the day to myself outside of St. Louis and found this treasure. My coconut mocha was delicious and the individually made quiche was not only perfectly packaged in its own tasty crust but it was fantastic. I will be bringing my mother out here soon to share this experience with her.
The lattes were A+ and the breakfast sandwiches were fast and delicious.
Great atmosphere and convenient location. I was passing the time while having my car repaired across the street. A quick meal and coffee here passed the time quickly and pleasantly. There were good vegetarian food and non-caffeine drink options. Employees were super friendly and helpful.
Fun place for breakfast and great coffee! Always so inviting.
I have never taken the time to rate a biz but felt compelled to do so for this shop.Fun & eclectic decor, comfortable & unique seating, pleasant & helpful staff and nice natural lighting. Feels more like a hangout than the usual cookie cutter coffee shop formula.Easy place to meet friends, read, work, study or just relax!Good coffee, great selections.Worth checking out!!
The best coffee shop in town, and the best customer service!!! LOVE THIS PLACE π€π€
I stopped at this shop for about an hour before visiting a family member in town. The Caramel Macchiato I had was made very well, and the price was similar to other shops I have visited. Nice, quiet atmosphere for studying/getting some work done on a laptop (there were about 5 other people doing the same). The staff was friendly, and I bought a slice of bannana bread and 2 chocolate chip cookies to go and they were fantastic! (Thick cookies with a lot of chips). Will definitely return when I am in the area again to sample more of the menu.
Had breakfast here yesterday for the first time. WOW! It was GREAT! Super fast and friendly service, and surprisingly good food! Great smoothies and coffee. Iβll make this a weekend treat going forward- really enjoyed it!UPDATE Oct. 2020: Still love this place. GREAT breakfast, and lunch looks like it is probably very good, as well. SUPER friendly staff. Great coffee and iced tea. Very comfortable, quaint, place with great seating and atmosphere. Quickly becoming one of my favorites. Highly recommend this place over the other coffee options in the area.
Farmhouse Salad!!!β€Roast Beef Sammie!!!β€And of course River Fog tea!!!π₯°And wonderful sweet baristas!!π₯°
Turtle mocha frappe was great
This place is always a great place to stop for a quick bite to eat but the coffee and service are next to none. Plenty of space for hanging out and eating, and just a short walk down to the river.
The cutest coffee shop!!! love everything about it
A cozy, quirky shop with great coffee. They have something to appeal to everyone here! The baristas are kind and helpful. Dont bother going to Starbucks, it just doesnt compare.
Awesome atmosphere and great food!
The peanut butter cookies are awesome.
Fun coffee shop in an old building. Had a breakfast sandwich made on a very good biscuit. Will be back.
Friendly staff great food
Great beverages, great staff
Cozy place with some great coffee and tea!
Love it here! The frappes are delicious and nothing like a big chain coffee shopβs drinks. The Elvis is delicious and tastes like a peanut butter cup. Dark hot chocolate from here is also one of my favorites.I donβt regularly drink coffee or enjoy the taste but I thought theirs was actually really good!Comfortable, fun mismatched seating too. :)
Super friendly staff. Liked the eggs on the biscuit. Good tasting sandwich. Got a mocha latte, good cup. Relaxing atmosphere. Comfortable seating for unwinding. Will be back.
Wonderful staff and clean .I love the teas, coffee and delicious delectable sandwich .
This is the place that Washington was missing. Just like every town has its Starbucks, every town needs its charming, unique and equally excellent counterpart. Great space. Great environment. Great people. This is my new writing/work spot when I come into town.
I come here like 3-4 times a week. Great coffee and staff
I really love this coffee shop me and my dad come in a lot of afternoons to get there really good smoothies, coffees, and Cookies. They have other foods also. The place is nicely decorated and the staff NEVER seem mad or upset they always have a smile making your day start great. They will always talk to you and make you happy unless you donβt want that. Apparently a near by coffee shop (not giving name) is posting bad reviews on Facebook purposely to upset there business rating which is upsetting. I donβt have Facebook but if I did I would leave a good review because it deserves it. Keep up the good work Washington Coffee Shop
I absolutely love this coffee shop, the coffee is great, the people are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing!
Great homey shoot with good coffee, delish bakery offerings & other healthy edibles. Friendly, welcoming staff
I love this place. Wonderful food, wonderful staff.
Stopped in for a coffee in the morning and was served by a wonderfully nice barista named Megan. I ordered an almond joy coffee and was NOT disappointed!! Loved the atmosphere and friendly staff so much I had to stop back in for a midday mango smoothie which was just as amazing as the coffee! I will be back to visit this one of a kind coffee shop. ALSO they had a TV screen promoting other local businesses which I thought was mighty nifty.
Awesome little coffee shop nestled in a cute little town. Good coffee, great homemade pastries and the people are extremely nice.
Such a sweet and loving atmosphere! Iβve had their house coffee, and I am a huge fan of the taste even without sugar or creamer. I got a bag of their beans so I could make my own from homeβitβs my absolute favorite!
Cool, atmosphere very nice people! All the food was looks to be made from scratch and is very delicious!
Great place to be
They kicked me out for not wearing a mask, while there was five other people in the place all not wearing mask!
Always come by here when visiting Washington. Great staff and thai coffee
Pricey but quaint with an ambiance that invites conversation, if they would just eliminate the needless mask discrimination...
Yum! Super cute coffee shop with cozy couches and tables. Good atmosphere. Great coffee. I got the butter beer espresso drink hot. Perfect on a cold day.
Just visited for the first time. Really nice ladies! I had a delicious raspberry mocha. Price was comparable to Starbucks. We also purchased some animal crackers for my four-year-old. Appreciated that they had something for her to enjoy. All of the pastries looked amazing. The place seemed cozy. It would be a fun place to meet friends for coffee.
Best place for any coffee beverage and a great place to hang with friends
The ladies are awesome that took care of our order today..relaxing enviorment cozy and homelike.. WiFi if needed .will be going back.. also the best peanut butter cookies ever!!!
Very good coffee
Just stopped in on our way from Michigan to Oklahoma City. Great coffee, excellent sandwiches, and amazing iced tea! Will definitely make a point to stop there if we pass this way again.
Very cool place to hang out and relax. They play good music, there are games to play, or you can sit by the windows. The coffee selection is broad, and they will cater to your taste as far as preparation goes. There are sandwiches, cheese, muffins, bagels, quiche, soups, chips and many other items as well as cold drinks like sodas and juice. You can also reserve the space for baby showers and other events.
I love this little shop! The espresso is great (they get it from Park Avenue Coffee) and the pastries are delicious! Great staff as well!My only disappointment is the limited amount of wall plug-ins near the tables. If youre planning on getting work done on your computer, make sure to come with a full battery!Still rating 5/5 stars because this does not affect the overall experience at The Washington Coffee Shop!
Great selection of drinks and food! Smoothies, espresso, frappes, and much more. My personal favorite is their Butterfinger Frappe.
I use to love this place but after being asked to leave, I will not go back. We were treated rudely over a mistake by having another drink from a different place. The lady pushed us to leave with a tone of anger. It was pathetic... I understand not allowing different drinks inside but dont treat us like we are scum. Considering this, I do not recommend. They have lost our business.
If its one thing that Washington needed was a great little neighborhood coffee shop and something other than your typical starbucks. If you have the chance, try the maple scones which are great. I took home a pack we loved them so much. I look forward to the next visit.
How can you call this Washington Coffee Shop when it isnt locally owned. Its owned by Park Avenue Coffee, Ill never visit again. Recommend customers visit our real locally owned coffee shops Glady Fayes, Coffee On Main, and Exit 11.
Great coffee at great prices paired with a friendly staff
Amazing coffee and tea. I would highly reccomend! π
The women that work there are so personable and funny, the decor is warm, inviting, and interesting. And the food, coffees, and teas are never disappointing. My favorite coffee shop by far.
Good coffee. Friendly staff. We have morning latte dates and play battle ship or chess.
My favorite coffee place in town. The staff is marvelous and the coffee is even better. I love their selection of lattes, especially their orange mocha, which Ive yet to see anywhere else. Love the food.
The food was good, but the wait too long- cant do on a short Lunch break.
Lunch grilled cheese and chicken and dumplings was so so..took a scone home that was delicious. Some of the staff needs to work on their people skills. Glasses for water are very tiny. Definitely more of a coffee shop than a lunch stop
I am usually very picky about how my coffee tastes and I was very surprised that I loved it. They were very helpful because I dont order from coffee shops ever. They have good snacks as well.
Nice little coffee shop. Serve breakfast, lunch sandwiches and bakery items as well. Friendly service.
Amazing customer service and our drinks were perfect
Super friendly staff. Prices are about average but the drinks and food are super tasty!
This place blows Starbucks away. Cute and tucked away it has a feel of a slow college dorm. Its clean, classy and has great ambiance. The coffe was delicious and of high quality. The people friendly and courteous and helpful with all the menu items. Grab some baked goods while here.
A little pricey for drink sizes and food options offered. Coffee is average. Hot and iced caramel macchiato were way too sweet. Chai tea was not as good as expected and didnt taste like chai tea. Panini was bland. Breakfast croissants were delicious.
