I was really excited about this location opening. I was shocked at how much the prices jumped under the new ownership. Might not be shopping here to much if I could save $14 on the normal items that I can get for less elsewhere. Otherwise the store is clean and employees are friendly.

I was welcomed at the door and asked if I needed help of course knew exactly where I was going so I declined but at least they asked.

Found some good items. However we were rung up for 2 of something we only got one of. Told us we needed to bring the other item back in for a refund. Which we only got one of.

Bought a 200 warrior from the store and it was a great experience all around. Good price, friendly staff. Keep it up, we will keep coming back. We have a ton of fun with the bike!

Im so happy this store has reopened. Its where I get my chicken feed. When it was closed recently, I had to go to Bloomington or Morton. I also like their womens clothes.

I will never go to this store again after finding out they fired the best manager they could have had and I Always bought my potbelly pig food there for $12.99 and they rang my bag up and said $17.99. I told them to forget it and I wont be going back. They wont last long. I went to TSC and saved a lot of money.

When the store was Big R, it was a great place to shop. Since the take over by No Stock+No Field it doesnt surprise me one bit that they are going out of business. The employees were good people and I wish them best for all of them.

Nice place, prices arent always there and sometimes the organization could be better, i enjoy meandering thru the store it feels like a large garage sale. Pretty friendly is a plus!Edit* this was written under prior ownership hopefully the new owners make this place better

Great shopping experience. Great customer service. Knowledgeable staff and friendly. Prices were better than anywhere i have seen for the items i purchased and even with traveling 1 hr to get there was well worth the drive will be back.

Not much clothing selection for men. Empty almost... half deserted... employees standing around wishing customers would come in. Support local businesses.

They allowed local animal shelter to hold a clinic where dogs and cats could get shots at a reduced price. Very appreciative pet owners!

Complete misleading sale signs!!! And the WORST customer service I have ever seen! Cashier was literally cussing because I questioned the price of an item! I went in and saw an item for 60 percent off and the sign next to it said take an additional 20 percent off- what it fails to say on the sign is it takes an additional 20 percent off the SALE price- so an item I was only supposed to be paying 33.00 on I paid 54.00 on... which is extremely misleading. The manager tried to talk to me like I was in 1st grade math- when it clearly wasn’t my math skills- it was the misleading sale signs.Won’t be back- no one cares there as they will be collecting unemployment in the next few weeks

I just want to say thank you to the staff in Washington Illinois they were very nice and helpful. Mostly, thank you to the head corporate men and women that have not bent to the far left nonsense and requiring face masks. It should be a choice of the individual American person (part of being free). Only my opinion, if we are allowed to have one of those.

Its a nice place and most of their merchandise is differant than other stores in the area.They could be a little more friendly, a friendly attitude and a smile keep the customer coming back

Even if you dont have country living in mind you should still visit during baby chicks time. They are adorable and take you on a peaceful journey for a little bit of time.

I did have a problem while shopping at this store... Why 5*? Because I honestly think the manager, Tim, will at his word take care of that problem. Things happen. It is how you react to those things that are most important.

I was just in the store and two young gentleman helped me out while buying a chainsaw I did not get there names but they were absolutely amazing so very friendly to my wife and self.. the multi tool that usually comes with Sthil brand wasn’t in the package so when I called back up to the store.. the store manager Tim was super friendly and helpful 5 stars all around

A great staff. Personal and knowledgeable. Staff took time to show proper setup of my purchase as well as for warranty registration. Short isles makes it easy to maneuver through store. Wish we had a Peoria location.

The website is not very helpful. It does not allow the inventory to be checked accurately before going to the store. They usually are out and this has increased over the past year. There seems to be a lack of communication from management to store employees, keeping them from being able to do their jobs and answer questions, very unfortunate as this problem will not retain good employees. The prices aren’t bad. There are birds and mice in the store around the dog and bird food and there’s a smell. I still try to shop there because we don’t need an empty storefront, but I long for the days of Kmart and Little Caesar’s.

Have a little bit of everything. People are nice willing to help you out with anything or any questions you may have.

I only give it to stars because I have always liked the store. I just stopped in with money in my pocket to look at firearms and there is no one working the firearms counter. How is that three hours until you close and you have no one working an area of the store. I asked if anyone was working the counter and the lady told me not until 7 a.m. tomorrow then someone will be there for the firearms counter. Sorry about your luck I have a job I will shop somewhere else. I liked it better when it was Big R.

Found everything I went shopping for. Store appears to be cleaner. Associates were certainly more forthcoming and friendly.

This store was formerly named Big R. Although the name has changed, the good experience has not. The staff are helpful and the variety of goods sold is excellent.

Never went to a store and refused to honor their gift card. At the check out we went to pay and use gift cards which we got for xmas and was told there not honoring gift cards anymore. Last I knew gift cards were the same as cash. Business like that, no wonder there going out of business..

Sad that they are going out of business. But everything is on sale.

I always enjoy going to these big box farm type stores. They always have a nice selection of outdoorsy stuff, always pretty well organized and well stocked. The prices seem pretty high but generally anything you get here will be very good quality. The staff is usually helpful and friendly.

The prices are great, you can usually find things for fixing things around the house and garden here, when you might not elsewhere like Menards or Walmart. However, in the past few months several of the staff have said that their company is having trouble paying the bills and might be getting ready to go out of business.Its getting hard to find items in stock, and from what the staff has said, its not really related to the pandemic.

This place is awesome. It would be very hard to say what I like most about it. Love their wide choice of lawn and garden, and food/ snack aisles. This is my go-to for spices, jerky seasoning and so many more things. They have something for all ages and all seasons. Never get tired of coming here. And help is just around the corner. Staff is very friendly and helpful from the top of the pecking order down to the most recent new hire. And I was going to the car one day pushing my car and some young man came hurrying out the door. Almost insisted he load my stuff and waited to see if I got in my car ok. I have portable oxygen pack I carry but I am a long way from being helpless. Very nice of him. World class customer service.

New ownership has decided to let shelves be empty while they are deciding what they are going to put in. However they already know they just are not communicating with the employees. Which in turn they can not let former loyal Big R customers know if and when the out of stock items will ever be back. The entire Hills Science Diet brand for dogs section is empty. And employees dont know if and when more might come in.This is a lack of respect to the employees as well as the customer. Stock and field is an existing company so they know what they carry and dont. Why keep it such a secret? Send them the lay out by bay so we know whats going on.

I like shopping at BIG R® stores. They always have a country feel to them with a warm and friendly welcome. This Big R in Washington, IL was not exception. Finding someone to assist you can, and normally is a challenge. It was on this day. That wouldnt be a problem but sale items are often placed in less than obvious and with little rhyme or reason. In fact two items we were looking for from their sale circular stumped the clerks. But if you are looking for quality items Big R is a great place to check out! Even if they dont have what you need you will enjoy shopping there.

Got most of what I wanted. Not to bad of a place at all, I definitely recommend checking this place out.

Its like BigR with a new sign or an old can of soup with a new lable. Nothing has changed inside.You are much better off knowing the part you need before you go in as there are few catalogs to look up application. Fewer still are the employees that can intelligently answer your question.

They do not have the selection of merch that they did when it was Big R.

Went there they have nothing in store for men clothes for winter unless your 3x or bigger no hoodies no thermals was complete waste trip id recommend going somewhere actually has selection

This place is great for getting all your outdoor gear as well feed for your farm animals as well as your domesticated pets. This place allows pets but they must be on a leash.

A great store to do business with and wonderful staff. Very large selection of items, especially pet supplies. Also pet friendly. It is nice to be able to take my dog into the store with me when I have to pick something up so I dont have to leave him in the car.

A large store of random things that generally only has stuff one size away from what it is that I need. Only about one time in 10 will they have the size and configuration of what I’m looking for. Usually I’m disappointed and have to go in order to online anyway or go to Menards. When searching for things on their website, All they do is try to sell you guns and ammunition. If you’re a prepper like to raise chickens then I guess this is the place for you.

This is a typical farm, garden and general good store. Prices are reasonable on most goods. You can get animal feed, bedding, and other animal/livestock supplies. They sell Taste of the Wild dog/cat food.

Sadly, the company is closing all of their stores.They will be missed

Great deals using their advertised coupons. Store is greater toward the farmer, but has everything most ordinary people would need. They do have some unusual food items that are worth looking over that you dont see in your every day stores.

They were so quick to help me. I had just gotten home from the hospital, needed water, and they helped me put the cases of water in my car for me!

Mr. Minder was great, the store was out of stock and he promptly stepped up and had the very nice cashier call around they found my lights at the Burlington store and I will have them Wednesday. First Class customer service A +

An outdoor/hunting/farming/clothing store with a large selection of work clothes, animal feed, tools, and assorted items. The prices here are generally reasonable and the staff are friendly. This is a good place to shop if youre looking for products in any of the categories mentioned above and want to avoid the big-box stores.

Had a good experience at Big R purchasing firearms recently. The staff was super friendly and their prices are competitive. The guy at the counter was professional while still keeping the paperwork process from being awkwardly silent. My only overall issue at BigR is how thin they run their staff, it can be hard to get help at times.

Theyre comparable to Blains as in they have just about everything you need. Only difference is its kind of a somewhat cluttered,dirty and Wal-mart type feel to them. I still shop there but prefer Blains...
