Philly warmly welcomed us. She was professional and very sweet to work with. I told her to give us a ring and keep us on the loop throughout the carpeting as we travel a lot. Our carpet was backlogged due to Covid but she made sure somehow with the factory to get it sooner. Great Customer Service!!walking in the store, which was quite busy, I was acknowledged by the front desk receptionist(Felia) and once available she listened and directed me to the exact carpet style I was looking for. Their measurer/estimator(Hamed) came to my house same day, emailed a written quote and within 10 days(special order carpet) the installer(Freddie) laid BEAUTIFUL Mohawk carpet throughout my home! The entire staff was pleasant from beginning to end and although there were some hiccups due to Covid related matters(vendor supply chain delays/labor shortage) Felia, Hamed, Freddie and the Owner were always pleasant. My carpet looks great, feels great for a better price than two competitors! First thing my children and I did was make “snow-carpet angels”! Thank you Capital Carpet! Kavoos was a great customer service rep and carpet installer. Just had my entire apartment carpeted by them. I love the look, its the exact color I wanted, and its very soft. I didnt have to move any furniture and the install time was very quick!

Highly recommend this team! We needed a floor replaced quickly after water damage and Alexa and Walter did an excellent job installing new floor paneling while conserving and reusing the undamaged portions. I would also recommend giving a tip if you are satisfied with their work.

I received carpet installation today. The contractors arrived within the time promised. They did an excellent job and I’m very well pleased with my new carpet. They were professional and focused on getting the job done. From the sales rep to the final installation, Im so happy with the results.I especially want to note the installation process. Sheldon was incredibly kind, helpful, and skilled. There are a few tricky spots in the room (e.g., radiator) and he cut the carpet perfectly around them.

I had a great experience with Capital Carpet. It was a small job—carpeting a flight of stairs—yet I felt that I go their full attention. To be honest, the place doesnt look like much from the outside, but they have lots and lots of carpet samples on two floors. I made a few selections, and able to take the samples home. After making a final choice, I got a complete estimate of the cost, and was on their calendar for installation about 2 weeks later. The installers were on time, friendly, professional and fast. They made sure I was happy with their work before leaving. I am very happy with my carpet.

One year after Capital Carpet installed, my carpet began unraveling in a heavy traffic area (hallway). I called them to ask for a repair estimate. The owner tells me he is too busy with two big hotels and to call a handyman. I asked for a referral for someone who repairs carpet. He did not have anyone. I did not want anything for free. I wanted an estimate for repair. He just rushed me off the phone with excuses about why he could not stand behind his products or service.

I had a great experience with Capital Carpet. They replaced roughly 12.000sqft of carpet for me in a commercial office space. They were able to move furniture and get the carpet squares placed without issue. They completed work much earlier than expected, and were able to adapt to changes we made through the process. Highly recommend them for any large commercial jobs.

We have used Capital Carpet for four different jobs in DC over the past 5 years or so: first a carpet installation in a bedroom, then a ceramic tile installation for a kitchen, and LVP/LVT installations in two English basements (one a few years ago, and one this past week). The fact that we keep coming back - even when our GC suggests others - should speak for itself. We’ve been impressed with the workmanship, reasonable prices, and excellent customer service. They also have a great showroom and are super fast at getting out for quotes, showing samples, etc. Highly recommend.

The absolute worst. I dont know where they get their glowing reviews from! They had to come back three times to fix the mess they made of my floors, and then I wore out and gave up. Casey basically sends unskilled subcontractors, completely random people. Its as if I came to your house and gave it go without having any training. They nearly ruined my floors by sanding and re-sanding three times. They applied the polyurethane unevenly so the color of the floors is uneven and the finish is already coming off the wood two years later. They installed two marble thresholds for me twice - both failed within weeks. When I called Casey about it to discuss, he pretended he didnt know me. There are plenty of other contractors who take pride in their work. Stay away from Capital Carpet LLC.

I needed new carpet for my basement. I called Capital Carpet LLC on a Sunday morning. The owner show up at my door with a samples of what i was looking for. Took measurements and the next day the team came to install. The work was done in May and I have no complain whatsoever. The price was perfect and the job outstanding. I never left my house and all was completed promptly in 1 day! They really know how to cater to their customer. Keep up the good work!!

I went initially to home depot and they wanted three weeks to install. capital carpet got the same type of carpet with half the price installed after three days. they are professional and on time. i highly recommend to others. i also recommend you visit they warehouse to see all types of carpets and select the best one.

Kavoos says what he means and means what he says. His crew installed 1000 square feet of flooring in my house that looks like it has always been there. My 108 year old house is not plumb in any respect, but his team worked around that, particularly the pocket doors, to make the fit and finish look superb. He started and finished on the dates promised and was very accommodating with the few items that needed to be corrected. Very professional and highly recommended.

These guys are great. I stopped on a Friday to order some carpet for one room. They said 7-10 days to get the carpet in. It came in early and they worked me into the schedule the next day. Their installers showed up 30 minutes early and were done in a flash. Padding was included with the carpet purchase. I figured it would be the thinnest stuff imaginable. It was quality padding and I can definitely feel the difference under my feet. Will definitely go to them first next time I need carpet.

Excellent experience with Capital Carpet. As a young new home owner, I was a little overwhelmed of the upgrades I needed to do for the new house. The first people I tried didnt come through after horrible communication on their part so after a little bit of digging online I found these guys and gave them a call. Kavoos, the owner, came out himself the same day and met me at the house with so much genuine compassion for helping me go over ideas and knowledge for the wood and carpeting I needed.You see, the house had come with hideous and cheap brown carpets, and beautiful brazilian cherry. Pretty much the entire budget had gone into the first floorand the cheapest of cheap invested in the remainder of the house. Thinking I was going to have to stretch my pockets to find matching brazilian cherry for the stairs, Kavoos brought me tons of samples to compare the cherry with, and we decided on picking a cheaper wood with the same shade. When I tell you it looks AMAZING, it looks amazing. Blends perfectly and saved a couple thousand.We scheduled the work to be done in a month, because I was in no hurry to move at the time, and his crew actually started a day earlier than planned. They were finished in two days. Communication was excellent and very professional. Such a caring and passionate businessman. I even overheard him telling his crew treat her like you would your family, clean up well and be gentle with moving things, we dont want scratches, etc. His crew was professional and fast working as well. They layed down boxes to avoid touching the wood on the first floors they were stepping on and his carpet people even left me large scraps so when the movers come they wont stain the new carpets he installed!Again, I would definitely recommend these guys, especially if you need help with ideas and options. Great team and fantastic experience. Im so happy with the result! (Mind you, because of all of the samples he brought with him, I didnt have to go to the showroom once: bonus points)
