Great experience! The process was very easy for all my bridesmaids that were in different locations. Bella Bridesmaids kept me in the loop and let me now once all of my bridesmaids dresses were ordered/delivered etc. Bride recommended!

This Bella Bridesmaids location is incredible! The mixed reviews made me a little nervous, but if youre wondering whether to go in, do it! I was shopping for my small wedding ceremony and Stacy and Hunter were both so helpful. The online booking process was easy - Hunter even called me ahead of time because Im shopping last minute and he wanted to confirm my details. Once in the store, I felt completely taken care of, was able to try on a big variety of styles, and ended up with two dresses I could go with. Stacy knew I wasnt sure, so she set my profile up online and I calmly ordered a dress when I got home. She was fantastic with sizing me correctly, helping me figure out what I wanted in a dress, and made me feel at ease. So grateful!

I’m so disappointed and irritated with this place. We picked it, because it looked like they had a lot of options. Please don’t waste your time and money.My friend’s wedding is two weeks away we still don’t have the dresses, this order was placed back in April. The store associate have not been helpful or try to give options to resolve this issue, they have the audacity to say “we don’t know where the dresses are” there is a contract in place were it clearly states *BY PLACING THIS ORDER, I UNDERSTAND THERE ARE NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES AND AGREE WITH ALL THE TERMS STATED IN THIS CONTRACT AND POLICY FORM AND AUTHORIZE BELLA BRIDESMAID TO CHARGE THE CREDIT CARD ON FILE.How about when they do not comply with the contract.I still cannot believe the lack of customer service, and the stress that they put people on their wedding planning.

Great shop and they really know their stuff. If you make a weekend appointment ask if Hunter is available to help, he knows all the dresses like the back of his hand. Hands down recommend this store because of his help!

Awful experience with the staff here. they give you wrong measurements and don’t refund you or let you exchange for another size. they don’t do anything to help you when they are the reason you waste your money. literally just threw $300 in the trash. bella’s bridesmaid- please get staff that is accurate with measurements or at least knows how to make an appropriate size recommendation to avoid unnecessary situations like this.

I am just appalled by the customer service though I think their point of view is that bridesmaids have to buy from them so why bother. They will do the bare minimum. A few tips if unfortunately you have to buy from them: 1) location is in an office building not labeled; only one of the elevators will give you access to the floor it’s on; they don’t answer the phone if you call; so it’s super hard to get in; took us about 15 mins of going up and down elevators and through the stairwells. 2) they won’t respond to any emails you send them; 3) there’s no reason to sign their very weird ‘fitting form’ which I assume the whole purpose is to make it difficult for you to complain if they mess up your measurements and/or the dress sizing is way off. They have very few dresses there to try on so overall going there was a total waste of time. Extremely rude here and really just made me feel terrible about myself. Hate this place so much and very frustrated I had to spend money here.

Friday morning they said the dresses were delayed due to COVID but that they had confirmed the dresses were made and would confirm an ETA later that day. I understand there are supply chain issues due to COVID so wasnt shocked, but they should have proactively told me instead of waiting for me to inquire.I did not hear back on Friday. On Monday evening, I reached out requesting an update. It is now Tuesday evening. I have not heard from them since Friday morning and my wedding is in 4 weeks.I heard back wednesday morning. The dresses are now expected to arrive 2-3 WEEKS after the initial date provided. I totally get that the factory has COVID delays. I would expect to at least get some sort of refund since my girls may now end up with less than 2 weeks to get their alterations done. Based on other reviews im now afraid that we might end up with a wrong color or size and we will end up having to scramble to find something else.Update: we decided to cancel the order.We placed the order within the time frame they recommended. I get COVID has messed with things and some things are out of their control, but I do expect them to try to communicate everything and do what they can.On another note, they charge $25 per dress for shipping, which seems very high to me and was not disclosed when I picked the dresses. I expect that they will at least overnight the dresses when they do arrive.

I had a wonderful experience with Bella Bridesmaids in DC. Especially Sheri the owner who took special care of me and my girls. The dresses were beautiful, arrived in a timely manner and looked amazing on all my bridesmaids. Bella has tons of selections which is why I selected them for my Wedding Day. Although the price was high it was worth it. All my girls loved their dresses and had the option to get some money back for them by selling them to other Bridesmaids/Ladies for other events. Choose Bella-They are GREAT!

I have been so impressed with the Bella Bridesmaids DC team! They truly made the dress shopping experience so much fun for both my mom and me and somehow still managed to make everything feel special despite all of the COVID restrictions and new procedures. Hunter and Elizabeth did a great job of communicating at an appropriate cadence with my bridesmaids that live all across the country. I highly recommend the Bella Bridesmaids DC shop!

This was such a good experience. Im so glad I went in to try stuff on. I have never been in a bridal party and I hate being fussy. The owner, I think her name is Liz, helped me with my fitting. She suggested dresses and sizes that would work for me. She listened to all my concerns and made me feel comfortable.i didnt feel bad for having to try on a bunch of dresses. I would have definitely gotten the wrong size if she didnt help.

I would not ever order from here or recommend this place because they have predetermined sizes that they will not let you return or get exchanges for. they also recommend the wrong size so you’re in no luck when it comes in the mail and doesn’t fit. Don’t use them!!! not helpful at all either and rude at the shop about it not fitting.

What a terrible experience from start to finish. I wish I had read the other reviews before ordering my bridesmaid dress from here. Like some other reviews, I was measured wrong and now I am stuck with a dress that is not only the wrong size but the WRONG COLOR and they are not doing a thing about it. They sent the dress to the designer to have the sizing doubled checked and said they would I would have answers in two days; it has been over a week of ME reaching out to them and I just found out that everything is correct... basically I am SOL. It is now two weeks before my friends wedding and I have no dress, plus I am out $300 for a dress I cannot even wear.Not only that, but the ordering process is absolutely difficult and inconvenient. I am beyond disappointed, frustrated and irritated with this store. The ONLY good thing about this place is Hunter (I believe that was his name), who was sweet and sympathetic. However, the owners and managers should be ashamed of the way they do business. Stay away!9/24/20 Update: I have tried to reach out to this store to resolve this problem as they suggested- no response. It’s deplorable how they do business.

First let me start with, Bella is the one stop shop for your wedding party. I had the privilege of working with Taylor - who is nothing but wonderful. She really worked with me, and my whole wedding party to find the perfect dresses. I had a total of 7 women, all who have different styles, and body types try on dresses. Taylor knew exactly what would fit best on who, and she also gave me the whole vision when chatting. I am extremely disappointed with Bella Bridesmaids DC. I went in March to get measured for a bridesmaids dress. That same day, I also got fitted for a different Bridesmaid dress at Davids Bridal. The salesperson who helped us at Bellas took my measurement and told me I was a size 8 for the dress I would be ordering. I told the salesperson my concern that size 8 would be too large as I had just ordered a size 2 for my other dress that day, and normally wear a size 2 or size 4 (I am 53, ~115-120 lbs). However, because of the limited sized Bellas has in store, I went with his suggestion as he was the professional and noted how different Bellas sizes were..Plus, I was not able to try on any dress smaller than a size 10 or 12, I believe.Fast forward 4 months later when my dress came in late July. The dress is HUGE on me, as I feared (with only 5 weeks until the wedding). After conversations with the sales people there, I emailed and they agreed to refund me for the alterations to take the dress in multiple places.Fast forward 3 months and I have NOT received my refund for the $100 of alterations I had to get (excluding the hem) that they promised me. I have called and emailed over 15 times since August. Completely unprofessional.The dress itself was nice and decent quality. It looked nice for my friends wedding, which Im glad. Everything else was an extreme let down and I would not recommend Bellas to anyone. I just hope I get paid back for the alterations. I will not be back.

I came to Bella Bridesmaids not having much of a clue what I wanted my bridesmaids to wear. I had some I dont likes but very little direction to provide the consultants. In our first visit, the brought a ton of different options for my sister to try on, and they were very flexible in taking our feedback and rethinking the direction for the dresses. They provided great guidance based on our feedback, and ultimately led us to the Joanna August collection. In our subsequent visit I brought all of the bridesmaids, and the consultants were very patient as we tried on a number of different styles within the collection. They helped us to identify three styles that worked well with all of the body types within my bridal party, and everyone left happy with the dress that she chose. My mom also had her eye on a MOB dress that she was interested in trying on, and they chased it down to ensure that she was able to see it in person.From the customer service standpoint, Sheri and her team were extremely responsive over email, and very patient with my and my bridal party. We had a number of girls change dresses, sizes, etc, and they were extremely communicative to make sure that the final order was perfect and exactly what we needed.As a bride, there are a thousand moving pieces and details to iron out. My experience at Bella Bridesmaids was one that was smooth, painless, and easy. I would absolutely recommend this as a one-stop-shop for bridesmaids dresses. This is one worry-free step in the process!

I put in my name for an appointment, they emailed me like a week later asking me to book an appointment only to inform me the next day that my appointment was an impossibility. Why even email me to schedule an appointment? I’ve now lost a week of my time. Very frustrated.

Ty at Bella Bridesmaids DC is amazing!!! My original appointment was at 3pm but a few hours before that I wanted to make a schedule change and they kindly accommodated me and changed my appointment time, and they were still sweet even when I showed up several minutes late! I gave very little direction when I made the appointment, saying I thought I wanted gray dresses, and as soon as I walked in and met Ty she already had dresses pulled for me ahead of time in the perfect colors! She took her time helping me consider the different shades and ruling some out and then pulled beautiful style options for me to choose from. Ty is very good at what she does and was super sweet! After my appointment she sent me emails to set up an online showcase to help my bridesmaids look and vote on dresses online. I even e-mailed her on a Sunday (the shop was closed) asking her to make some changes (assuming she would respond when they re-opened) and she not only responded right away, but made the changes immediately and even ordered some swatches for me without me having to ask! The owner of the salon was lovely as well. Theses ladies are great and know what theyre doing!

I made an appointment for my daughter, which happened to be on Black Friday . When we arrived, we waited for thirty minutes assuming someone was running late. Finally, I decided to call and found, via the voice mail, that they would be closed until the following Monday. When I left a message, I expected a return call with an explanation, but never heard from anyone. Why make an appointment with a customer if you are going to be closed?I just recommend to confirm, confirm, and confirm for it is up to the customer to confirm the appointment because they will not make the effort.

Unfortunately, our orders were recently cancelled due to Alfred Angelo closing. Fortunately though these ladies were able to save the day. They were so sweet and thoughtful of what the bride had originally picked out. They had already ensured that the dresses we were trying on could come by November so that we never fell in love with something that would not make it in time. The owner was great and really knew her product and what would look good on the various bridesmaid body types. I can not say enough positive things about them! Highly recommend!

I wasnt a fan of this business--although I had an appointment, I was left waiting in a cramped store for 20 minutes before I was directed to a dressing room and presented with dresses that looked old and ratty, and inappropriately sized (I am typically a size 10, not incredibly large, but the dresses I got could barely fit on my body, let alone zip up). Then, after my measurements were taken, I realized that the dress would not be made according to my measurements, I was just to pick a size and then have it tailored independently. Dresses were overpriced and seemed low quality, and extra length (since Im 58) was more expensive. I typically really enjoy dress shopping, but I was quite disappointed with Bella Bridesmaids.

Customer service wasn’t great. The sales person was very disinterested in helping us try on a dress for our friend’s upcoming wedding. She coldly told us that we had to pay extra for a tall dress. The policy on tall and plus size girls is shameful.She couldn’t tell us the best size to order to minimize the alteration costs. Her response was “I don’t know I’ve never had a dress altered.” This was a very unprofessional comment from someone who works in the wedding dress industry.Finally, I started to look at dresses for my own wedding and asked questions. The responses were one word and she would not help me find the style I asked about. She told me they were scattered around the store then walked away.Very disappointing for a store that is so expensive.

Super disappointed in this company. I’m the bride - I picked this place because they advertise that they have a vast inventory with a wide range of sizes. Definitely not. I took one of my bridesmaids to their shop, there was nothing bigger than an 8 or a L in any of the dresses I wanted to see her try on. We were told that my bridesmaid could pay $25 for them to ship her size to their store if she wanted to try on the dresses in her size. Otherwise she’d have to just buy blind and hope it works out. $300 for a dress, you’d think they’d have a better solution. Waste of an appointment. Piss, poor customer service.

Youd be better off taking your own measurements and submitting them than allowing one of Bella Bridesmaids staff to do it. Like other people that have given a poor review of Bella Bridesmaids, I am left with a too large dress that will take a lot of money to alter. Bella refuses to exchange the dress for a different size.Seriously, dont come here.

I went to see bridesmaid dresses my friend picked out. Not only did they not have the sample dresses, they misled.me on the phone. I asked if they had plus size samples to try. They said they did. They didnt even have the dress styles I asked about in the store. They promised help choosing a size, but the associate helping me hedged and said this or that instead of I would recommend x size. It was a terrible, upsetting experience. If you have plus sized bridesmaids, look elsewhere.

I have been into Bella Bridesmaid twice now with 2 different brides to help with the bridesmaid dress selection. Of all of the dress shops we went to, Bella DC was by far the nicest. Its clean and bright and all the dress or organized so that it’s super easy to find what you like. The sales people are always incredibly knowledgeable about the dresses and different style and color options. They are also great about offering advice from their experience with other bridal parties and providing suggestions for more cost effective options. The staff makes the whole experience a fun one! The dress selection is also the best of anywhere I have been! Overall, I would highly recommend Bella DC to any bridal party!

I have bought three bridesmaids dresses now from Bella Bridesmaids in DC and every single one has been great! They always fit with minimal alterations (I am short so everything has to be hemmed) and the quality is outstanding. I have had different sales people help me every time but everyone has been knowledgeable and eager to help me find the perfect dress for me (or for the bride to choose for me). I will definitely be using BBDC in the future!

I Do Not Recommend This BoutiqueI was disappointed when I arrived at the boutique and 2-3 months later I am disappointed by what I received in the mail. I will just deal with having an over-sized dress (their no return or exchange policy, is a red flag in my book) and donate it to someone in need of a dress. The associates working there were completely unhelpful and absolutely uninviting.They seemed to be adamant that my measurements did not match the size of the actual dress that I tried on in the store. She insisted that the measurements would be exact for a larger size and it turns out that I got my dress and it is far too big.As a former designer sales associate and experience with assisting clients for homecoming dresses and prom dresses an associate should know how the dresses fit and should be more than happy to help you.From my observations it just seems like they spend their time listening to music in a appointment only boutique.The quality of the dress I received was also different from the dress I tried on. Not the color-but the quality and material.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOUTIQUE!Ashley is a dismissive salesperson who is clueless about what the boutique carries.I had a fitting for a size 4 bridesmaid dress and the dress fit me perfectly. After taking my measurements, my chest was 1 over the recommended measurements for size 4 and Lacey suggested I go with size 6. I trusted her because she is the expert. The size 6 dress arrived and it is way TOO big in the chest area, like good 2 inches gap in the front/side. I contacted them to figure out if I could exchange sizes since I KNEW size 4 fit me.Ashelys responses were... we do not have size 4 in stock at that time, you clearly used a size 10 dress that was tightened in the back with clips (what?!? that did not happen), the dress you tried on is not a true representation of the size, we do not a Love Lane Kate dress in 4, we have another style, we recommend you alter the dress (why?!? when size 4 fit me perfectly and I already shelled out nearly $200 for the dress)...All these were said after I shared pictures of the said dress from the fitting in size four. This was a mistake on their part and they are refusing to help resolve this situation.What is even better, Ashely was not in the boutique when the bride and I visited and she is making these claims based on her limited knowledge of the boutique via email. Lacey is out of town at the moment. I hope I can update this review when she returns and is able to help me out.Like other reviewers mentioned, I thought others were crazy bridezillas and bridesmaids but nope, they were right. This place is horrid.MEANWHILE, DO NOT TRUST THIS BOUTIQUE. JUST STAY AWAY. SHOP ELSEWHERE.

The team at Bella Bridesmaids was so helpful when I came to find a dress. I was running late and they were still so warm and generous with their time. I highly recommend this knowledgable team for your bridesmaid dress shopping.

My experience was horrible at the DC location. I had a “large wedding party” (according to the stylist) of 6 women, once we started shopping the stylist mentioned that she would help find dresses for their body type- however she mainly hung up dresses we handed to her- many dresses where small and most of my bridesmaids where uncomfortable. Four of the women selected the first dress they tried on and sat around waiting to be measured. When all of the dresses were selected we were very rudely explained how to order then informed that there was no time to measure but we could come back to be measured (we live over an hour away.) Which was expressed but they did not seem to care. Once we left we logged on to the portal and noticed two of the dress’ prices had increased $30. When I called back to inquire about the price change I was informed that the online price is price and they did not know why the price was different. Overall very disappointing experience-rude employees with no help in styling and sizing.

I called and rattled off numerous questions about bridesmaid dresses and Sheri was so polite and helpful. The questions she did not know the answer to she said she would look into. She called back not even 5 minutes later with my answers. Talk about speedy service!

Poor customer service. My sister and I went into the DC store to try on dresses and the staff was rude and unhelpful. We then placed an order and requested that one dress be shipped to another city. The wrong dress was shipped out and they did not even realize... Needless to say we will not be return customers.

They forced me to order a dress 3x my normal size and kept swearing up and down bridal was significantly smaller. So, I trusted them. I received the dress and it is huge! It needs to be taken in at least 5 inches and the entire bodice needs to be remade. I am extremely unhappy with my service.

Terrible quality dresses and they provide badly measured dressed even after you provide measurements because they try to make money with alterations.Highly recommend not using them!!!

Today I went with my daughter, the bride, and her maid of honor (aka sister) in search for brides maid dresses. What a great experience you gave us. The owner helped us work through the process of meeting everyones needs and wants. The bride wanted bling, I wanted her to be the bling and therefore tone down the bridesmaid dresses, and in addition her sister will be 8 months pregnant. The perfect dress was a navy, sequined dress that is also offered in maternity sizes. We walked out arm in arm with big smiles and thrilled we made the trip to your store. So....check the brides maid dress search off her list!! Thank you ladies at Bella Brides Maid DC!!

RUN!!!!! I am not one to complain but I am still shocked by the lack of customer service and product that we were provided by Bella Bridesmaid. First our dresses were very late to arrive and instead of offering to pay for rush shipping, I had to do it over the phone. I got past that and let it go. But then when both myself and my bridesmaid called to state how her dress was cut too short, we were basically told there is nothing to do. They are supposed to specialize in bridesmaid dresses and this has been the only stressor I had throughout my wedding planning process. The wedding is in 12 days so we obviously don’t have time to submit a case to Bill Levkoff as was suggested. As a store that focuses on bridesmaid dresses they should have a relationship with your vendors that emergencies can be accommodated if needed. Especially when my bridesmaid was measured in the store and isn’t that tall so it clearly was an error with the dress. Thankfully Nordstrom’s we learned carries bill levkoff so we ordered a dress that will be shipped immediatley. Otherwise we would be out of luck. And the fact that we were told there is no way we can get a refund is ridiculous. I am very upset that I trusted them to make sure my bridesmaid dress process was easy and non-stressful. Would never recommend.

Violet. Horrid. My fiance had the worst experience of our wedding planning with this woman. Uppity. Dismissive. Unfriendly. The store itself had a great selection, presented horribly by an employee named Violet.
