Friendly staff and enjoyed all the options to show school spirit and Georgetown Pride. I was hoping to find a visor with the bulldog head but only had the G. I bought this great cap instead as well as a cute Sock Monkey and dog sweatshirt.

I do not recommend renting or buying books here. I ordered my books more than a month in advance and I did not get them until the day class started. The only reason I got them is because I had to call and follow up on my order. Next, because they didnt have the used books I had originally ordered, they went ahead and charged me to rent new books at a much higher price without telling me. At this point, the semester has already started and its too late to order books from somewhere else. I will never ever buy or rent books from this bookstore again.

Was quite nice and spacious. There is a wide selection of items, many very expensive but thats all college stores. The store is clean and the service was fast and my experience was smooth. The only negatives I could find was that the escalator didnt work and it closes so early. If I remember correctly its at 2 p.m.

Very large bookstore, definitely in the normal price range of a campus bookstore (maybe a bit higher), but they have so many options here! Everything from pennants to shirts to materials to tech! Really well kept and clean. Employees are somewhat friendly.

Good selection of school memorabilia and prices are decent. The coffee shop upstairs is also a great place to get a quick coffee.

THEY STEAL FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!How can Georgetown steal from their customers, you might ask? Well let me explain and explain why I now have a visceral hatred for an organization that was supposed to be a merchant of knowledgeFor the last few weeks Ive been searching for a new pair of headphones to enjoy weekly MILO podcasts in privacy, and last night I found a promo code to slightly discount the price on these headphones through the Georgetown University Bookstore. Excited, I quickly applied it to the purchase, discounted the price, completed payment, and eagerly awaited delivery...that is until I found out what the crooks at B&N were actually doing. They lied about the promotion, cancelled all orders that used the promotion AFTER processing the orders/promising delivery, and expected they could just get away with it. To top it all off, they CENSORED the Milo book from Dangerous Publishing Inc. Dangerous, so I couldnt even pick up a copy from my favorite author when I went in to file an official complaint with the store over my headphones.These people are crooks, breached the headphone contract we had, and (if done knowingly) committed outright fraud in order to win free media attention with their illegitimate promotion. I will NEVER shop here again, and strongly suggest that you dont as well.Im beginning to gather information on all afflicted parties now to start the proceedings for a class action lawsuit. If you or anyone you know was hurt by this, please reply so we can get in contact with one another. The more people we have signed on, the greater likelihood this deplorable establishment will be forced to make good on their promises.Stay away if you like honest businesses.

Good, well-stocked bookstore for the university. We found the branded items were were looking for, and many others that were fun. We hope to be back in the future.

We stopped in to pickup up some school swag while visiting the university. Has a hugh selection and prices are reasonable. Store wasn’t easy to find with all the construction happening on campus.

Pretty standard for colleges, but.... they had. Chickfila which was amazing, could not find playing cards which is a minor issue, but just a normal bookstore with a chickfila

People were very helpful and have great items to buy and the store look appearance is very healthy and clean.

Price is normal for a bookstore... store is kept clean and spaces you can walk into.. not over crowded...

This is the kind of place that has a desk by where you find the textbooks even though you dont return them there when your done. And that desk is upstairs. And theres no sign telling you that you have to wait in line at the registers until you get upstairs by walking up the broken escalator instead of walking up there. So, Id say order your merch.

I have never felt more ripped off in my entire life. Around $170 for a pile of papers wrapped together with rubber band not even a real book, amazon has a used version with a cover (a full book) for $10. Luckily I rented but that was still more expensive and I could not return the book after owning it for 2 hours either. I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS.

Last year while at Georgetown for one of their summer camps I bought a Macbook charger recommended to me by the staffer based on her knowledge of my model. When I got back to my room it turned out that my staffer had given me the incorrect charger for my model -- an honest mistake that I wouldnt blame her for! The trouble started when I tried to return my charger and was stopped from doing so because, despite having the receipt and original box with the charger still in it, because the plastic wrapping around the box was ripped they wouldnt accept a return. When I went to the normal Apple store to try to return it, they said that the item should be completely acceptable for a return, but since I had purchased through the Georgetown bookstore I could only return the item there. Now Im stuck with an $80 item I cant use and cant return because of the Georgetown bookstore policies! Im sure that all their other items and services are fine, but if you want a computer product, save yourself the possible future hassle and get one from a normal store.

Incredibly displeased with the service provided by this bookstore. I placed an order for Beats headphones with a promo code that slightly reduced the price. I received an email confirming my order with the expected price. Unfortunately, the next day, I received another email saying they cancelled my order. What the F***? Contacted the store several times with no response. How dare you charge me and deny me the item. Trash place with trash customer service. Ill see you in court.

This business is very dishonest to their customers. I placed an order for their Beats Solo 3 headphones available on their merchandise page using a promo code to receive a discount. My order was processed and the next day I received an email saying that my order was cancelled without stating a reason why. I tried ordering another pair and the promo code was then invalid. As others have stated, this was most likely a stunt to receive publicity attention to bring people to their website without actually fulfilling their responsibility of providing discounted headphones. I will be participating in a class action lawsuit to be filed against the company.

Decent university bookstore that’s not as large as others I’ve seen. The staff are very helpful and will scour the store room to find things that might night be on display.

Its exactly what you expect in a college bookstore. Memorabilia with the college logo, seal, and mascot, for the student, alumn, or family member. All the books for various courses. Everything is overpriced but if you need a quick souvenir there can be good deals on some t-shirts and the clearance racks, and if you really need to, you could sneak in and photograph pages of the books you need while waiting for your cheaper copy to arrive.

Love the Cafe on the second floor and the outdoor seating area on the roof of Leavey Center. More clothing than books in the store itself!

Its the bookstore for the University where you can get HOYA gear. There is a nice student run coffee shop if you take the escalators.

When I entered the code, the discount applied and I was very excited to receive my new item. But the day after I placed my order, I received an email saying it was cancelled because apparently the code only works instore and if you purchase a Mac or iPad. I am very disappointed at this customer service because on the website it appeared to apply to me. I gave my personal information and credit card but my order was cancelled. Isnt it wrong to change an offer to a customer after they placed an order on the original offer? Save your time and dont shop online here
