I agree with other comments there are rude workers, but there are also nice employees that assisted me (when I asked). They have a good selection of hair. They arent as helpful as the other one next to Roses but they did have a great selection. I did have to use some chose words for the women ring me up because she was taking her time, mumbling something to another worker but the girls helping with wigs were helpful (again I had to ask, and Im nice about it). I will keep going because its not like others treated us better for decades and we are going to help them be better while keeping the dollar in our neighborhoods. I got a unique dusty rose blonde wig.

I would have given it 4 stars but the customer service is slipping. The women store associates are highly annoying. They seem to want to be in competition with the original locals. It states black owned, but not all people are kinsfolk thats for sure! The head man (possibly the owner) well versed on black hair care needs. Pretty sharp on hair extensions knowledge as well!

Was on a mission looking for hair. Not sure what style Ill get next time I see my braider. They had an extensive array of hair in many colors and textures. This is a neat and clean establishment for all your hair care needs.

Pretty poor service lol. Got here fifteen minutes before close they locked the door turned the lights off and went and hid. I can see them hiding as I am writing this. I just needed a few packs of braid hair for my appointment in the morning. 😂 Bummer. I’d go anywhere else if you have a choice. Bad character.

I just had a very rude experience here. My mom, my boyfriend, and I went in here after leaving out of Walmart having never been in the store before. First, no one greeted us. There was a whole man perched in the middle of the store mainly at the front and he did not speak. I’m now assuming that was the manager. We looked around for a bit. The prices are okay, I wouldn’t even say decent, especially not for that area. I’ve lived in Montgomery county for a few years now but before that I grew up in DC. I even used to attended the middle school down the street (Paul). My mom and I come across these faux locs. Some are priced the same and others are not. We frequent beauty supply stores and this is usually because of a sale or undesirable color so that’s what we assumed. We checked the whole row of this particular color and style to be sure that all of them were marked the same price of 1.99$ believe it or not. We get to the front and the cashier asks about the tag to the guy who was perched at the front. He says to her “No, that’s wrong it’s 12.99$”. Which we reply “well these three and the whole row ofthese same packs of hair are labeled “1.99$”. He then scoffs that “Nothing in here is 1.99$“. Interesting because I for one noticed that many of the cosmetic products at the front of the store were starting at 1.99. Yknow the beauty supply lip gloss and things like that. So maybe the hair isn’t 1.99$ but there are things in the store that are indeed 1.99$. My mom was still going to purchase the hair even though the man was being rude about it. I told her not to because even the Asian beauty supply owners that have been in the game for a minute have realized they need to respect and work with you to get your black dollars and continue to get them. The lady at the counter then says “sorry” for that and I reply that it’s fine because there are multiple items misprinced throughout the store. Pricing is not consistent at all. Rather than the manger taking offense then going on the defense how about using a little customer service and apologizing for the mishap? There was no need to jump down our throats because one of your employees were trying to be quick and made a mistake. The manager was very disrespectful and continued to say things as I was talking to my mom as she was checking out. He even let out a chuckle as we left. You can not own a business whose main demographic will be black women/ black people and not respect them. Especially in that area or Georgia Avenue. You can not do one or the other. I’m a licensed cosmetologist at that and you best believe I will not step foot back in here and I will not recommend this place to a soul. I’m not one to control my mother’s money and she really wanted the other product outside of the hair that we passed on. You best believe that’s the first and last pinch of money they’ll receive from me or anyone I know.

Worst customer service ever. The employees do not speak, say hello, and completely ignore you. I was standing in like for 10 mins waiting on the cashier to stop having a personal conversation with her friend. Then when she finally came to the register, she did not say hello, the total, or a thank you. Completely rude, will not ever return. Work on your customer service skills, and stop ignoring customers

Well..... I been going to this beauty supply for 8 years now they are the best beauty supply store I went to that’s on this side. They do have real hair it’s just not cheap you get what you pay for. But anyways I love they’re energy and they’re always on there A game when I walk in and see. I really like the manager, only because he always try to help and find the things I be needing.

Went there to find Nairobi wrapping foam and they actually had it. Just wish the staff would have greeted me when I walked in and at least offered to help. Otherwise, couldnt complain...my first time there and walking around to see the products wasnt a huge hassle. Great selection especially if you are into weaves and extensions.

These people are thieves! They sell SYNTHETIC wigs for over $130 when you can find the same ones other places for less than $40 beware! I purchased a wig here for $135 and the woman who helped me get the wig actually removed the label before I purchased it without my knowledge. When I got home I searched the tag inside of the wig that provides the manufacture website and after searching the name of the wig online, I found out how much money they stole from me. The wig costs about $40. These people are scammers. Dont buy wigs here.

I came to this store because it was near my home and I was in need of some hair products. As I was shopping, no one offered me any help and I was the only customer in the store. I was in there for a good 30 minutes when the owner walked across the street to the police station, and called them to the store because he was accusing me of shop lifting and I wasnt even done shopping yet. Needless to say I kindly left the $50 worth of products I was going to buy there and walked out. While I was shopping I did notice that some of the products on the shelves seemed a little old because they smelled kinda funny. I will never shop in this store again and hope they go out of business.

Fast customers services... they have Spanish speakers, Arabic, Amharic and others ... very pleasant ... manager very nice, the Ethiopian girls and the Dominican girl also very nice ...

This was my 2nd time going to this Beauty Supply store, the first time They did not have the type of Hair I needed . I had a hair show to do and I had to get some things we ran short on, and I Needed some hair, there choices of the weft hair for weaving Sucks. And the few they have are put up so high you cannot reach them or get to them. And yet there out on display on the d=sales floor .so the customers should be able to see and get them. you would think... But in spite of this What was so annoying and really sad. The people in the store just were no help. One of the Sales girls was just standing around talking with one of the other helpers and I had to go to her twice and ask her to help me. she just seemed to answer me but not help me if this makes sense.. I was shocked because a lot of people I know who work with hair shows told me to go too this store I would find everything I need and the clerks would be really helpful.. Well they must of been talking of a different place. Because this is not the case .. They have such a big store and to not have the most popular types of merchandise is sad. And some customer service training would really help there business because even when I went there a few years back.. I had the same awful experience with the people who worked there. It a shame ..
