Nice selection, decent prices and - last but not least - superb service from all staff we encountered. In particular, I wish to thank Carl Dunking who went out of his way to help us. We carried several bags and asked him if it was hard to get a taxi from there. He put all our our bags in a shopping cart, brought it out in the street and stopped a taxi for us. All with a friendly smile.Thank you so much, Mr. Carl Dunkin! (I hope I got your name right.) You made our shopping experience a breeze!

Whatever you do, dont order online. BBB uses UPS Sure Post where UPS delivers to your local/regional post office who in turn delivers it with your mail. Im a big proponent of the US Mail and I have no beef with UPS. But, they often don’t work well together and the handoff makes for significant delays. If youre going big box for online shopping, stick with Walmart/Target/Amazon or better yet, support a local business.

I went there to look for a particular item which I didnt find. I purchased a few items though. I have always liked this place. The lady that waited on me was very helpful.

The people working do not wear the masks appropriately - mouth covered, nose not. One employee was kind enough to put more disinfectant wipes for the carts after asked him to. Cool products and great place to get small sized items for travel.

Very good customer service and accommodating people that work in this store. Will assist you and answer your questions for whatever you need or ask of them. Also very friendly.

I was very pleased with my shopping experience at this store. As a matter of facts this is one of a few Bed Bath & Beyond left in the area worth shopping. I was find what I need at these stores a bargin price.

I visited on October 5 and received the best customer service EVER when I came in looking for a folding cart to haul my groceries. I walked in with my arms fully loaded and in desperate need of a cart after a bank-account-draining trip to Target. The BB&B staff immediately engaged with me, helped me pick the right folding cart, brought it up to the register, and assembled the cart right then and there so I could load my groceries and walk home without giving myself a hernia.Thank you BB&B staff, you made my day. Unfortunately, I didnt get staff names to give them a shoutout here, but Ill 100% be back to visit with customer service like that.

Bed Bath & Beyond is becoming the best store for home goods. it is not the biggest store, but they have the best brands and some of the items that every home must have.

I received poor service from the Bed Bath & Beyond in Columbia Heights today October 22, 2019.I went to the customer service desk for a price adjustment and the customer service associate accidentally refunded my entire purchase. The store manager Jim was called to the customer service desk. My card was charged twice and Jim offered no apology for the huge inconvenience. Jim also said to me it was not his fault the bank I chose to bank with does not reverse funds right away and I either had to give him the products back which was impossible because I came in for a price adjustment which means you only have to have your receipt. Jim said again I had to pay again after my card had already been charged twice or give him back his store products. Jim refused to offer any customer service that would accommodate me for the inconvenience. I ended our conversation after 25 minutes of Jim continuing to be very rude.My impression of this Bed Bath & Beyond in Columbia Heights has been tarnished. Furthermore, Jims inability to offer a solution as a manager and continuous poor attitude I will not be returning.As a valued customer—Ive never encountered such treatment before at the Columbia Heights location or any other location. Currently, Jim the store manager has no process in place to prevent this situation from recurring.

I had a very bad experience at the bed bath and beyond store at Colombia heights.I went in to the store to buy a food processor, few months ago I had went to the store and bought a very good food processor as a gift and I wanted to buy it for myself. I was looking around in the store and I saw few other food processors but I couldn’t see the one I had bought before, so I went to get assistance and I went to get help. I approached Jim on the floor and I asked him to help me, he very rudely asked me what I want help with, I told him with an item. He rolled his eyes and begrudgingly started following me, I went to the food processors I saw and tried to explain to him that I wanted a specific one. Jim very very rudely pointed at the food processors and said “what you see is what we have” he repeated this sentence twice. I left very upset. Few hours later I went back and asked the security officer if they have the food processor, he said yes and showed me where it was. Jim is a very rude man and has a terrible costumer service skill.

It was okay. The store is huge and appears to offer a large variety of household items from makeup to living room furniture. It also appeared to be very well stocked and clean. It was very over whelming to shop here, which is why I may not return.They need more people VISABLE, AVAILABLE and APPROACHABLE to assist the customer with locating what it is they need in the store. I now understand WHY the store is name Bed, Bath and Beyond. They have MORE stock available on the sales floor, than you need and that the associates can handle. However, GOOD LUCK with being able to actually FIND it.

Very clean and the staff are great. I love this soap and it works great for my son so its a must. Went in the store and didnt see it. Checked with a staff member and supervisor and they combed the back finding it for me. They were just as determined as I was.

Great selection! This is a popular spot and one of the only ones in the city so it can get busy. It is also housed in the same building as target Marshalls Modells and Best Buy. Parking garage under the building but none of the stores validate because the building is owned by the government

You can get a wide variety of products for your home but their prices can be a bit high

One of my favorite BBB stores. The lines seem long, but they move pretty fast. The store can be a bit difficult to navigate, but is still great.

While there is nothing really wrong with this store, its really big and hard to find things. This wouldnt be a problem if the store hired enough dedicated staff. I feel like I go a long time without being offered help. Otherwise, the products are good and reliable and the location is convenient.

Great experience two days in a row. I bought a juicer from here. It unfortunately wasnt the brand that I was looking for, but it was recommended by one of the employees. Its a Breville Juice Plus. Nick helped me at the counter and was extremely polite and helpful. I asked what the return policy because I was purchasing a juicer that I wasnt quite sure about. He assured me that I could return it, just as long as I have my receipt. It was a great quality juicer, but I didnt favor the clean up process and the force that it ejected the juice with on the exit side. I returned it today and the employees on the condition of the juicer. They asked me if I even took it out of the box. They were shocked to find out that I used it and boxed it back up so perfectly. I was informed that they were so used to the complete disarray of products when they are usually returned. It was a good laugh and definitely superb customer service!

I love this store, but I get lost in it some time. I went in here looking for spray starch in non aerosol cans. They dont carry spray starch! Niagara makes it and I cant seem to find it anywhere. I didnt stay long either! They have a large selection of cosmetic, bathroom items, kitchen items, small appliances, just to name a few.But they didnt have what I needed. Well better luck next time. Plus, I went there near closing. I know they sell irons and ironing board, so I will go back and check at a better time.

Decent Asian dishes though a little light on the heat. Good variety of chicken, beef, shrimp, and vegetable dishes. Generous portions. Rice and noodle sides are a bit bland but dished in large servings. Efficient staff and process for getting served. Clean facility and probably around 15 tables for 2 or 4.

Went in here looking for Carbon Monoxide Monitors. The store department sales associate assisted me and looked in the computer and came back me telling me that they dont sell themTo my surprise, this store is well stocked with all sorts of items for the home, except for CO Monitors. I thought at least they would have one or two types, but they dont have any.To be honest, I did not know the difference between the CO detectors vs a monitor and how they each differ. This is very important and everyone should know.Regular CO detectors are for healthy people and will not alam when there is low levels (under 70 with digital display) of CO present.Low Level CO Monitors are for young children, the elderly, and people with certain health conditions. Some will detect and continue to monitor the CO levels present in your home, and will alarm at a lower level than 70 ppm, which is the UL rated standard.So being a senior citizen with respiratory and pulmonary issues, I definitely need one to protect my life.So, Bed Bath and Beyond please consider adding CO Detectors and Monitors to your inventory.Low Level CO exposure can cause what some doctors diagnose as a mystery Illness.

Called ahead to make sure they had item. They said that they at least three. Get there and they dont have it. They double check and they have it and bring it out. I pay for it. When loading it up, find out its not the one I wanted. Absolutely no attention to detail. Waste of my time/gas.

If for some reason theres something that youre looking for that you cant find theres always someone there willing to help you find it or direct you to it. They have great dorm buys!

I went shopping here for the first time today to get some stuff for our new kitchen. It is an extremely large store, and very conveniently located, with a parking lot underneath, so accessibility is no problem. There was a lot of store staff who were in the aisles and available to help you fin things, which I appreciated. Check out was quick, and staff was very friendly. Selection in the store was really good, they have an amazing number of items, and I ended up buying a lot of things at a very good price that I did not even go shopping for today originally. So, more than my kitchen benefited from my shopping expedition.

HUGE store. I particularly like their travel/trial size section since I travel a lot. I never knew some items were even made in in the smaller sizes. Very convenient.This is also my go-to place whenever I need a gift (wedding, birthday, baby shower, housewarming, graduation, etc.). So much variety...but the price can be a little steep depending on what youre getting

That place has just about everything that you can think of. I love that place you will leave just about all your money in there. Its all most like going in the Dollar Store.

The staff at this store were truly excellent when I came in for a major shopping trip yesterday. Five different staff members helped me individually: they were quick, knowledgeable, friendly, and did everything right - including helping me carry everything down to the street to get my Uber home. I had one of the best customer service experiences at the BBB store in Columbia Heights, Washington DC. I was in the store this past Wednesday, August 17th. Four employees helped me - one man with a question and three others with second question. They were accessible and knowledgeable and very friendly. It was one of the employees first day. I believe his name was Adjan (very unique spelling). He was so kind. The computers were acting up and they were having trouble taking credit cards, but the two cashiers working in customer service kept the line moving and were apologetic. Overall, the store employees (even the guy who said goodbye to me) were upbeat and energetic. They were genuinely welcoming and hospitable. It is not every day you find this in a big city context. I will be coming back to this store in particular given how great their staff is. Please pass this comment on to the managerial staff at this location. Thank you!

I decided to visit this location because Payless is going out of business downstairs and I needed lights. They had a decent sale, I saw a lamp that was discounted but an employee decided to put it behind the counter and claim it as hers! I was still in need of lights, I asked for assistance and when they guy came he sent me all around the store, I wasted so much time in this store that I felt like I worked there! I left out with the same thing I walked in with...NO lights! I will not return to this location!!

Convenient to have this nearby, especially for quick trips. Its usually never too crowded or busy and check-out is fast. Dont forget to bring your 20% off coupons.

My favorite store beyond is the key word because it sells so much more than bed and bath items.

Now I like this place this place has everything and Im talking about the one in Chinatown Washington DC right off of H Street you got to find it cuz its down in a hole but you can find if you go in there by the movie Its standing by the movie up in that little area that is a nice little place I recommended very highly

At first when I walked nto the store it was a bit confusing. No one really seemed like they were really willing to help . I just needed new sheets and a few kitchen applicances for my home . I had some trouble finding the items I was looking for but ended up finding not all but a majority . The only positive part about my experience here was getting rung up by this super nice cashier . I had a super friendly cashier Named Brittany . She was very welcoming asking me if I found everything okay, she even offered to walk around the store with me to find one of the sheet sets I wanted to buy but couldn’t find. She was awesome they need more cashiers like her !

This is a solid Bed Bath & Beyond in a great location. The shop can be a little disorganized, but prices are good and the selection is pretty thorough for household goods. Right next to Target and Best Buy, so easy to fit it into a day of shopping in Columbia Heights.
