My phone was acting up so I went to the store and the employee asked me to take it out of the case. I took the phone out and right away he said I needed a new phone. I asked how he could say that without checking it??? He showed me the battery was swelling and my phone had a curve in the middle starting to separate the phone.Thankfully the phone didnt catch on fire! Thank you!

GOT A PHONE HERE IN JULY AND IT WAS THE WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE! I GOT A IPHONE 12 PRO MAX FRESH OUT THE BOX AND THIS PHONE DONT EVEN ACT LIKE IT. WAITED AN HOUR THAT DAY TO GET A PHONE THAT CHANGES THE GROUP CHAT NAME ON ITS OWN AND SIGN ME OUT OF APPS! OH I FORGOT TO MENTION I WAS SOLD A CHARGER BOX THAT DOESNT EVEN CHARGE RIGHT!! TRIED BRINGING THIS UP TO VERIZONS ATTENTION AND NOTHING WAS DONE SO YEAH I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AND IF ANYTHING I SHOULDVE STAYED WITH METRO! BTW THE LADY WAS AVOIDING TO HELP ME HERE TOO!

My wifes galaxy s21 ultra stopped charging via the usb port. Samsung sent me to a ubreak I fix shop which tried but failed to solve the issue. Samsung then wanted me to ship them the phone and be without it for 10 days to solve it. I walked into Verizon and they got us an asurion replacement in 2 days without needing a deductible. Was able to use the old phone with wireless charger until it arrived. This did use up one of our claims but who can be without their phone for 10 days? I forgot to mention that I came in just before they closed and they were still very helpful.
The store was open Sunday, thats a plus. However, they had a limited phone selection.
Worked with manager for 2 hours, trying to be able to get back on with Verizon Up. Finally heard that its being sent to troubleshooters & they would call me. Manager Tom was very professional and pleasant the entire time.
Not busy at all I was in and out pretty fast. They didnt have the cheaper phone charger, but I really like the one I got

Very frustrated customer.... After being a return customer for several years, my family wanted to go in to get new phones. We went yesterday and were told we had to make an appointment due to Covid, which we did. They told us it would be no problem to return the next day with our daughter (a minor with a disability). We returned today at our designated appointment time at 5pm, and were told after that there 4 pm appointment just just arrived (an hour late), and they couldn’t see us until the left. They also said only two of us could come in which is not what we were told the day before. First of all, why would you take someone an hour late for their appointment when you had appointments lined up after. Second why isn’t your staff all aware of your store policy of no more than 2 people at a time. Apparently your customers must leave their minors at home or in the car alone while they come in for an appointment. Lastly, I did see a family in your store with a child so why are you telling some people they cannot bring in their minor child with them and others they can. This feels as if you are discriminating against persons with disabilities. I am disgusted at how you handled this and will be going elsewhere to buy new phones. My advice is to avoid this store because they treat their customers like second class citizens.
Minor annoyance that you cant call the store to see what they have in stock - all phones were rerouted to a different state. In store they just said that their phones werent ringing and they did not know that somebody in another state was answering them

This kicking customers out because of covid without an appointment is ridiculous and rude. I have been a customer of Verizon for years and deserve to be treated like a valued customer. I’m sure as much as you’re tired of people just showing up to your business to spend their money without an appointment is as much as we are tired of being told that we cannot be helped at the service time that we have come to your store. I do understand all of the guidelines but the employees at this location could be more polite about this issue.

I tried to give ZERO stars for this store but it wouldn’t let me post this!We went on Saturday evening and were told we would have to wait 20-25 minutes to get in according to COVID restrictions. That turned into sitting in the car waiting for 90 minutes while at least 3 employees were standing around in the store with nothing to do. I was finally waived in and wanted to know the difference between the picture quality of the iPhone11, 11Pro, and 11 Pro Max. The employee said “well, I’m not a camera guy! It would be really helpful if you knew what you wanted since we close in 41 minutes and we’d like to go home to our families”!!!I have never had such terrible customer service and because of that employee, we are looking into leaving Verizon after 25 years and moving on to a different carrier!
It used to be my store to shop and get good customer service. Not anymore! After a long wait and a week apart appointment I felt like I was there to receive charity. Whereas I was there to buy a $1200 phone. Terrible customer approach and extremely rude behavior. If they are so afraid of COVID they could shut their door. Nobody is forcing them to do business. If they are open, should maintain minimum courtesy. Thinking to leave the company as a whole!

Terrible customer service
I understand the restrictions of covid19 but this location needs a better system of checking in people or assisting. You have to make an appointment only but we get here and you have to wait probably 1-2 hours to see a sales associate. There are two other workers just walking around looking bored. While one employee is working with one person. Then you have a security guard just standing.If you’re going to require appointments then please have it scheduled on an average of how long it typically takes to assist a customer. Don’t have them scheduled it and tell them “I must warn you. I can only have two people inside (but there are a total of six including your employees who are wondering around). It might be 1 hour to two hours on average.” How about you just advertise first come first serve and you have to wait a very long time?!There are a total of 5 cars in the parking lot waiting to see someone.
Took a bit longer than I had expected, as well as the consult did not install my screen protector (said she was not good at it, well neither am I) so now I am going back to get another one, and they WILL be installing it
So I am editing my review because I had to go in today and get some things straightened out. The customer service was great. The guys were all helpful and friendly. They helped each other and showed great team work. I would definitely recommend going to the location.
They were great. Even with a long wait then explained early and tried everything to get in as soon as they could. A manager was even helping people at the door.

This store has the most dishonest employees. I took back a cord expecting to be reimbursed for it when I bought two other ones. I got charged for the two and no reimbursement for the return. I also got charged for a bunch of strange charges when I got a new phone. They did not give me a receipt for that.
Great people who know their stuff. They dont try to push you to buy anything. I went in because my old phone was giving out on me. Thankfully I had insurance and they were able to do overnight shipping! I have my new phone now and it works perfectly!
Very quick service switch over, the employee that helped me out was quick and knowledgable and friendly. As COVID-19 is still going on. Only 1 person can be in the store, Very pleased with the speed and service.
We hated it, an absolute terrible experience at this store. The employee that greeted us at the store new nothing about the area when referring us to a battery store, told us masks were necessary (even on a person with a disability) and 1 person in at a time, so no one could assist my elderly mother in law picking out a new phone.
I like coming here to pay my bill on the kiosk payment. Close to home and no problems coming in and taking care of my business. Only had one issue prior with an employee but I had to let it go because they were not worth my time in being stressful.

Nope nope nope. Not helpful at all rude door person. If they werent the absolute closest Verizon corporate store I would never go there again. So much has changed in a few months. Took over a week to get my phone working again after it was damaged thanks to their cough cough great customer service and reduced hours having to take a day off of school to get my phone fixed the door guy who was I initially sitting with a few people at a table says only 1 person at a time per 1 person in the store... hmmmm you were just sitting in a group. Looks like most of the negative customer service reviews have been in the last 5 months and start almost a year ago. That says a lot to me.
Dont ever go here. The customer service is terrible. They will boldly lie to your face to get your business. Said my trade in was worth $250 once it was too late for me to change my mind. They dropped it down to less than half. Bill was said to be 215 a month actual bill will be over $240 Do not trust them. Said they would set up my phone.. Sat there for 2 hours doing it myself and left the store without it set up because they were closing.
Was there on iPhone 11 pre-order launch day, it was busy, we had to wait a bit, but we were signed in shortly after walking in, after about after about an hour of waiting, and to note a rep went home while several customers where still waiting... regardless when we finally got helped the sales rep seemed less then excited to be doing it, as a former manager of a cell phone retailer... regardless of what time you help a customer and how long you have been there you have to show your best face and provide a great impression... will not be going back to this location anytime soon.
My phone has a strange issue that only takes data calls and so being with Verizon I went to the Verizon store to try and problem solve. I was met at the door promptly by a guy who I recall to be Tom. He basically said thats a device issue, not a Verizon issue so there was nothing they could do. There was nothing wrong with the actual words he said, (I have learned that people who are raised in this country learn certain things about legalities of things and know how to word things to never get in trouble) but he was basically trying to push me out the door (although I was not inside the store) and not work with the customer. I mean any business, but especially Verizon, not that theyre know for customer service, should be about customer service, no? Helping the customer understand what the issue is. Its not like you were busy.Anyways he finally called Jerrey, another associate and he was able to take a look at the phone and tell me that it was incompatible for x reason rather than send me on a wild goose chase to an apple store that isnt even open.After our service portion of the brief visit was done, I told them basically what I wrote above with more detail and that it was not a way to speak to a customer. Just because I am not spending money there, it does not mean that I am not your customer. And the lovely yet melanin deprived Tom, who said hes worked with Verizon for 9 years, asked if I would rather have had him waste my time and go inside and do the diagnostics. I said actually yes, because then I would know and understand what he was saying and rather than have him push me out the door and feeling misunderstood, misheard, and judged. That is no way to apologize and e did say the words I apologize that what he did made me feel so and so. But that is not a way to apologize or treat a customer. You are the face of Verizon at the moment and you did Verizon shame.Jerrey did step in and say he only knows because he worked at Apple for 5 years, and my response to that is thats great, Im glad they hired you here so that you can help. He said no one else probably know this information, and my response was great, Im glad youre here.Verizon I know you know that youre the best carrier and people will put up with your bull, but you need to train your affiliates and associates better. And this store owner, if youre reading this, please know that Jerrey is an asset to your store. Tom, is not. The only reason this review is not a 1 star review is Jerrey.
I found the reps there to be only so so. When dealing with anything involved with account issues just call customer service. The store is great for buying new phones and accessories. They are limited on what they can even help you with. Which kind of sucks from my point of view.
Poor service, do not know what they are doing
Seems like employees are standing around without serving customers, long wait time . Also a phone I purchased didnt work couldnt hear from either side when calls came through . Was made to pay a restocking fee for a issue that wasnt my fault of $35 . The other option was to exchange for a phone I didnt want . I spent several hours trying to be service and definitely feel the phone should of work properly when I left the store and should of been returned my funds upon request, especially when the problem was on their in. Also the same phone I turn in was use to try gain access to my Google account that very same night in Grand Rapids . It was 1am in the morning when I received a alert from Google . Wow its a shame when you cant trust your phone provider management !
Sales associate was good. Verizon customer service is non existence. Sales associates in the store can only help so much. They cant help with many issues. There isnt any number you can call to get help. Sent an email to not get any response. I use to recommend Verizon all the time. Not so any more.
This one star has nothing to do with location. This low rating has to do with Verizon as a whole. My service was fine until I stopped in to this location and had them switch me (based upon their recommendation) to the unlimited plan. I have not been able to use my data since then, outside of the GPS. For everything else, I literally have to be on WiFi. I dont believe it has anything to do with this location... Ive done Google searches and have learned that I am not the only one having this issue since switching over to unlimited. Im extremely frustrated.
Long wait, staff tries but are not all equally able to serve customers. I had to keep reminding them to add the discounts I qualified for onto my order. They forgot a step with my watch to activate it and I spent 3 hours online with customer service fixing it. Just not a great experience.
I needed to deactivate the Hum that I never used. Store Guide really helped me with the phone Assistant Tim, who in turn made it easy. The 5 stars are not for the Hum, but for the two men who got me out of the contract. Im now mad because I just tried to call the store to ask the first mans name. Ridiculous. I dont have an acct # or a pin nor want to talk to a digital assistant for the Warren store.

Then the customer rep (tall goofy looking guy with dark hair) makes a snide comment that I wasnt serious anyways. No wonder this store only has a 3.8 rating. Ill continue purchase products elsewhere...
Very pushy sales people. Just wanted to get a phone and sales person would not stop hassling me to get their overpriced screen protector and case. I told them Im gonna get it online because its much cheaper yet they insisted that I get it at their location because its supposedly higher quality when in fact the online reviews suggested otherwise. Id be much happier if they were more client centered rather than pushing their accessories just to try and hit their numbed at the detriment of my wallet which they showed no regard for.
The employees in this place are liars and they are very rude. I ask them for what I needed and they gave me a different plan and charged me so much. When you go ask them questions and act like its not there fault. The store manager was rude too. They didnt give me any paper work and then they blame it all on me. Very unprofessional and slow service. Never going back there again.

Basically if you have the time to wait for a service member then usually this store is really good about addressing your concerns. I have been coming here since they opened. (Business Account)I saw a trend in sliding customer service for a while. However recently they have really pulled themselves back up to par. Im not sure if they had a GM change but something did.Usually this store is very busy and there is always a line. However if you bring some common sense and some patients, then the knowledgeable staff will surprise you.
We only waited a few minutes for service on a busy Saturday morning. The Verizon employee was very friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. We upgraded our existing Verizon flip phone to a data plan with a phone we bought outright from Amazon. All contacts were also transferred.
Having a problem with my phone. Returned to the store I originally purchased it from for assistance. The young lady literally told me they dont service the phones, but if I wanted to purchase a new one... This location has totally changed in the last year or so. In both attitudes toward customers and customer service. Needless to say, Ill NEVER purchase another phone from this store.Note: I called customer service 800# and was assisted by an awesome representative. Thanks to her, I am still a Verizon customer.

This is a Verizon corporate store. They are knowledgeable and very helpful. They even.stayed late after closing to complete my order! I will go here again.

The staff is competent but if youre coming in for a repair or activation theyre going to prioritize sales over helping you. Cant blame them for it, thats how the salespeople make their money, but for existing customers it can be a long wait to get help and when you do theyre going to rush through so they can get to someone thats buying something.

They will not stop trying to upsell you. I only really deal with customer service over the phone now. I wanted an iPhone swapped out and it took 30 minutes because the sales associate would not stop trying to sell us accessories, tablets, apple watches, and more. I will avoid coming here at all costs. Huge time suck for something that should be simple.

DONT COME HERE IF YOU WANT ANY HELP!!!! I used to think this store was helpful. This time I went in and was told they would make an exception they normally dont in order to help me with my defective LG phone they had already replaced with another defective product. Their help was to allow me to purchase insurance so I can have the phone replaced again. Why should I pay insurance on a phone that is defective and they KNOW its defective and they are the ones that replaced a defective phone with another defective phone AFTER the issue was known and was supposedly being fixed by LG? Yet they kept insisting they were trying to help. Thanks but no thanks. The nice lady I chatted with at Verizon was happy to give me another replacement. Oh, my original warrenty had only been expired 1 week, but the store refused to help. I wont go there again which is a shame because I used to like it there. Even though I did have a similar issue with the people there saying they couldnt help but we called Verizon while in the store and they said they could do what we were asking and they didnt know why the store was saying they couldnt. Sounds like an issue to me. I wish I could give 0 stars. They left me without a phone for longer than I needed to be because I wouldnt buy insurance for a defective product they gave me.
