This year was my first year at Borden Light and needed some work done on my boat during the winter. I can not express how happy I am not only with the quality of service and attention to detail that they did for me. The price was great and everything was done in a timely matter. Adam even took the time to trace all the wires coming off the batteries so I would know which ones were which since the boat was new to me the end of last season. They have defiantly earned my trust and future business.

We were heading back from an extended cruise and were having all sorts of strange and intermittent engine and transmission issues along the way. Each time we were at a port with a service dept, wed have someone come down and assess the situation with their diagnostic tools and each time they said nothing was wrong. However, the disconcerting noise and engine alarm beeping told us otherwise. With one phone call to Mike at Fairhaven Marine, we felt like we finally hit the jackpot and found someone who could truly help us out. He asked us detailed questions about our issue and then said hed be happy to take a look at it that day! We were four hours away from him and immediately dropped lines and headed to his location. He also gave us a list of tests to run for him to help him troubleshoot more without having to go on more sea trials and costing us money. Within an hour of getting to his location, he was on our boat with a computer hooked up to our engine and had figured out the issue and had a replacement part within the next 1/2 hour. He also told us what was causing the noise from our transmission and that it wasnt normal, as everyone else kept telling us! He even followed up with us to make sure everything was still working well again. Needless to say, Mike has found another lifetime customer. We will be bringing our boat to him every time it has any issue - and lets face it, its a boat so there will be lots of issues. Mike is honest and incredibly knowledgeable and will always fix it right the first time! If you have a boat, then there is only one place you should be bringing it from now on and thats Fairhaven Marine Service. I wish I could give them more than five stars.
