Beyond livid with my experience with Toyota of Warren!! Sent an inquire about a 2021 4runner Trail edition in cement… was MSRP’d at 43,000 so I set an appointment to test drive the vehicle.. was told the vehicle was available and that I can schedule an appointment today at 5 to test drive..show up at the dealership to find out it was sold… I had to literally rush from work to go look at this 4runner because it was my only available time to look at it since the dealership closes at 6.. absolutely IGNORANT to tell me that I can schedule an appointment to look at the trail edition just to have your staff tell me you guys sold it.. WASTE of my time! I will be calling Toyota Corporate over this!

Poor service！I bought this car in May 2021. Unbeknownst to me, the dealer took away my front license plate. The reason is in the policy does not need the front license plate, only needs the rear license plate! I went to the manager and he promised to reissue me my license plate. It is now October, and in these 5 months, my husband has called the dealer and left messages, but there is no response! Today my husband still called the dealer and got the answer that they need to check again and let us wait! Is that the responsible way to serve?

In the beginning stages of my car shopping we stopped in after hours to look at vehicles that were on the lot. Chuck stopped over and left us his card and invited us back when they were open. I visited another Toyota dealer closer to where I live, and the service was terrible, nobody seemed to want to sell a car. We went back to see Chuck, and we will for all future purchases. He was very thorough in explaining all the car features, as well as answering all of my questions. This place is junk. They just move cars thru there without checking or doing anything to them. They give you a checklist that they supposedly did before they sell you a car. A day or two after I bought the car the brakes are shaky n squeaking rotors are all rusted up and need replaced. The a/c stops or was never working. The girl Amanda who had swindled me gave no support. I called them and they told me I could pay their service department for the repairs on the vehicle that they supposedly checked working a few days previous. 0 stars if I could and a phone call to the BBB. Dont be fooled by the nice building this place is trash and the nice building was built screwing over people like you.

Well after my 2nd Tundra it’s sad to say it’ll be my last one from here. My brake reservoir was damn near empty, my brake puddle goes almost to the floor and the tires are cupped extremely bad and my truck rides very rough. When the issue was took to management it was considered safe! Very disappointed! And they acted like floor mats and a remote was a bonus on a $32,000 truck.

My hope in leaving this is to ensure that no young female, or any individual for that matter, is ever taken advantage of by this dealership or those who lead it again. Those that have handled this situation should be ashamed, and I sincerely hope their daughters are never treated this way by anyone in their lifetime.First, by stating that I have not ever experienced blatant disrespect for my person the way I have throughout my recent experience with Toyota of Warren. To make matters worse, I chose to purchase my latest vehicle at Toyota of Warren because Tino Merlo, the general manager at the location, is a close family friend of ours whom I trusted. I grew up in Niles, so myself and my family have long standing relationships with many who work for and lead the dealership.All five members of my family have proudly purchased from Toyota and have for years. After this recent experience, I’ll never again purchase Toyota, and certainly will never purchase anything from Toyota of Warren again. My family feels the same. We likely all would have driven and purchased Toyota for decades to come. Hundreds of thousands in additional revenue lost.Throughout my experience trading in my 2015 Toyota Corolla S (~49k miles) to purchase a 2018 Rav4 Adventure with (~15k miles). Since July, I’ve experienced:-Deceitful sales tactics and failure to disclose damage on a vehicle arranged for purchase-Was sold a discounted warranty 6 year/60k mile disguised as “a way to take care of family” but instead, sellers failed to disclose they stripped away a CPO certification as a result of damage on a vehicle that would have came with a warranty, resulting in 3k back in the dealerships pockets-Improper and neglectful repairs on said damages-Gaslighting and discrimination upon asking for proper repairs-Lack of communication about repairs, resulting in unnecessary, adverse effects list several hundred miles on vehicle, gas costs, missed work, etc. to travel back and forth to the out of town dealership-False information and blatant lies about COVID-19 leniency and dealership obligation to the retail purchaser-Responses that belittled my valid concerns about a cop pulling me over/ticketing me/impounding my vehicle because plates are not transferred, as well as refusal to provide temporary tags in interim period until dealership provides title office with proper documentation to process memorandum-Failure to provide paperwork to the title office paperwork to issue a memorandum within a 30-day period (today is day 48)Five trips to Niles and endless time spent communicating and missing work later, I am still waiting for the dealership to send information to the title office to process my memorandum. Today is day 48. I am currently making payments on a vehicle that I don’t legally own, and I cannot transfer my plates until I have a memorandum. If I am pulled over, I could be ticketed and my car can be impounded, and the individuals operating the dealership are deliberately talking down to myself and my family about the entire situation. I am simply asking them to do their jobs properly, something I paid good money for them to do.

I bought my car from this dealership, and while I did have a good experience, I called up to get an oil change, and after having a someone in service be bluntly rude to me, I will not be back to this dealership. Not to mention, at the time of buying my vehicle, I would have liked to have been explained the options of possibly getting wheels protection, which I didnt learn about until after several months of having my car. In the future, I will be getting my next Toyota from another dealership.

Worst experience ever. I have never been so disrespected. I was shown and I test drove XLE model rav 4. I wanted the blue color. The salesman said he can get one. We went through finance and put down the deposit. The day I went to pick up the car, it was LE model(basic model), not XLE. So I went to talk to the salesman, he said thats what we agreed on. I remember and I am pretty sure not even once did he mention that it was a basic model, not the model we looked. Why would I test drive XLE model, liked it and agree on different model. I would have never agreed if it was basic model. Now I even doubt the price he was trying give us was for basic model which I looked up to compare, and it was $2000-$3000 difference. I even think he was trying to sell the basic model for the price of XLE. I confronted him. He was rude, and telling me good bye. I wasnt gonna stay there anyways. Never ever. Like I said I have never been so disrespected.

If I could give negative stars I would. The service manager yelled at my wife then hung up on her for reporting an extremely rude service writer. They will not fix my car with 15k miles left on warranty. Said I should find another dealer since they are to incompetent to do their job. USE EXTREME CAUTION going to this dealer. Was in the market for my first car. I wanted something reliable so I decided to go with a Toyota. Toyota of Warren was a bit out of the way for me, but I heard it was a bigger dealership with more to choose from. After looking around the lot for a little, a salesman by the name of Tony came out and asked if I needed help. The car I was looking for was not there. Not only did he help me reserve the next one coming in, he helped me through the whole transaction, every step of the way. Tony was very transparent and did not try to “pull a fast one” on me like salesmen I have dealt with at other dealerships. He was very knowledgeable and very trustworthy. My wife and I bought our first brand new car from them. We did our research and knew we wanted the minivan. After talking to the salesman, he said he would talk to the owner and probably give us a better deal than what they were asking. When we came back the next day, they said their original asking price is all they would take, not a penny less. We really liked the minivan so we agreed. However, we asked that they at least throw in a car starter (we bought the van for $41,605!). They agreed to a car starter at their cost.It has been over a month and still no car starter. The last time I talked to them, they said that they dont install car starters, they refer that work out and if I wanted a car starter I would have to pay full price. They reneged on their agreement and wont do anything about it. We bought a brand new $41,605 vehicle and they screwed us over on a car starter. They got their sale and thats all they wanted. Its a shame theyre allowed to operate like that. There should be some standard of practice that holds dealers accountable for actions.
