Once again, Troy and the crew at Ed Shults of Warren did a great job meeting our needs. With a tight new car inventory and my wifes lease expiring in a few weeks, they were able to get us into a new Jeep with more options than before, yet keep our payments close to where they were before. Im not necessarily a loyal car buyer, but Troy has definitely earned our trust and our willingness to see him first.

I dealt with Used Car manager Lenny and Used Car Salesman Extreme Art. What a great experience. My initial contact was by phone and the invitation to come in was genuine. Once there this dynamic duo did everything possible to accommodate me. I didnt make up my mind on the first visit and there was no high pressure sales techniques or bull. I was left to make up my own mind. Once I had decided to make the purchase they did everything to make the sale as smooth as possible. What a team. We are on vacation from Ohio. Truck was dead when we tried to leave our cabin about 40 mile south of Warren. Got it jump started and made it to Ed Schultz. Everyone we dealt with while there was extremely nice and helpful. Within 45 minutes after we pulled into the parking lot, they tested the batteries (diesel trucks have 2) and they determined the secondary was in excellent condition but the primary needed replaced, had it replaced and we were on our way. I did call ahead to let them know we were on our way but didnt have an appointment. But they worked us in and got us back on the road in just 45 minutes. We are extremely grateful they took care of us so quickly, without an appointment, AND with such a pleasant and helpful attitude.
I drove from NJ to our cabin south of Warren. Realized on my trip that my hood wasn’t latching all the way, and was rattling (2014 Subaru Outback). Pulled into the dealership around 10am expecting to wait and hope to have it diagnosed by the next day. Well - Adam greeted me. Looked at it, and called a Subaru mechanic over. The mechanic said he’d look at it. Seriously - within 15min he had me totally fixed up, AND they washed the car. Omg this would have taken weeks to get done in NJ. These guys are amazing. I wish I lived closer, and may start bringing my car for service when I visit the cabin! 10* if I could give it! 10/10!!!

Salesman was good, got us in to view the truck right away, got us a decent deal. Salesman took $900 off the price. The vehicle was an as is sale so i knew it needed a bit of work, the $900 the salesman took off covered a bit more than half.. On the salesman end it was great experience 5 stars for him.. ( Talk to Art Chamberlin)Be prepared to get extra charges on the paperwork, this dealer charges a doc fee legal in PA with a cap of $389, and they charge every penny of it. So your vehicle has that fee added to it, also the regular fees, plus whatever an online registration is.This document fee is negotiable in PA so I hope if you read this ahead of time this helps.. otherwise think of the price of your vehicle and just add $400 to it 😀.. I personally dont like getting charged to do the paperwork to purchase a vehicle.

Fast service reliable cheap prices
Wouldnt certify a used Jeep over a $30 part. When asked if we could pay for the certification and get the part installed later, told no. Also, couldnt offer us a extended warranty because we are going to modify the vehicle. Please look up the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Weve modified several vehicles and never had any issues with warranty. At the very least, you could have certified the Jeep. Buyer beware. This all wasnt disclosed prior to sitting down with the finance manager (not his fault).

Ed Shults Subaru is an impressive State of the Art facility with spotless showrooms and service facilities. Absolute easiest car buying experience of my life. I was buying a car that typically doesnt have very many on the lot due to its price and exclusivity, so I knew what I was up against as far as negotiating. There were no tricks, and we reached a deal very easily. Troy is a great salesman, very personable yet he knows what he has to do as well. Financing with Jim was painless, and literally everyone I came in contact with was knowledgeable and nice. The dealership is modern and clean. Im a tough guy to impress, but you guys did it. I got a great price, you guys made a profit, everyone wins.

After taking my Jeep to the garage and spending 3 hours there and being told that they couldnt find any problem, I still have the problem. When I applied the brakes while driving home the same sound was heard. I was told at the garage that the brakes looked fine, but why am I still hearing the noise?

Salesman Troy Berg and Sales Manager Cory Blake resourcefully located the vehicle requested and got the price down to an impressive number. Randy Elleman assisted us through the finance paperwork quicker than I thought possible, which was much appreciated due to having an active toddler. It is no surprise why customers travel from all over the area to deal with this group.

Just leased my second brand new Ram from them in three years. A new edition 2019 Big Horn Crew Cab. A beautiful truck. First purchase was like perfect. Second purchase was like why in the world would I put up with such grief just to remain loyal to somebody that treated me right once before? After three maybe four weeks of haggling over the details I finally purchased another truck. $50k! I picked it up around 7:30 in the dark. I couldnt really see anything wrong with the truck, but I wasnt really looking as it was cold outside. Driving home I noticed places on the windshield that stickers were removed and the glass was never cleaned, and the back window was completely smeared with something of which I never did figure out what it was. The next day driving to work is when I got a real surprise of the condition of my new truck. Actual globs of dried mud on the inner door panel, on the dash, on the carpet and even inside my center console! I come to realize after getting to work that the truck had never even been detailed! There was plastic still on the visors, the back seat head rests, the paint had stuff smeared on it (although I couldnt find any chips in the paint like my first truck!) the wheels had a smeared film on them, also had stickers on them and paint on the tires, and there was what must have been inspection paint marks (?) all over the insides of the doors, etc, etc. Took me 1/2 an hour, to 45 minutes just to clean the back window with what ever was smeared on it and I had to do it in freezing weather. They offered me to bring it back up and they would do it right. They are 45 miles away, I wasnt interested in losing a whole day so I wasnt doing that. So then they offered to pay me to have it detailed in my area. After searching for a couple weeks I never found somebody in my area that would detail it, so Shults offered me $100 cash and I said send it. 2 weeks later. No check! I really dont care if they send it now or not, because regardless if they do or dont, I will never drive onto their lot again. When I re-think about the whole buying experience of buying my truck from Ed Shults, I can only think that I myself must have rocks in my head! I only blame myself for such grief!! I wasnt going to post anything negative, but if you go to Ed Shults Ram, Dodge, Subaru in Warren and start feeling like you are getting a run around, you owe it to yourself to move on to another dealer! I tell you, I work in customer service, and I would give Ed Shults a C rating at very best, and more like a D on my over-all truck buying experience.Something else to look for non related to Ed Shults. My backseat has so much road noise I continuously look for where the noise is coming in! Need somebody else to drive it so I can get back there and look.

The only complaint I have is about the detailing department, they left crumbs and junk still in the car, certainly wasnt happy about that and the fact I need to go get my new car detailed. Moms key fobs stopped working so I took them in for new batteries. Great service! They worked me in on short notice and were flexible because I had to drive up from my home in Virginia to Moms place in Warren, PA, the day of the service so due to traffic I didnt know exactly when Id arrive.
We have taken our Forester for regular maintenance check ups and traded our 2018 for a 2020. I was quick and easy. I will go back for my next Subaru.
