Worst service ever. Got an estimate for a new system, approved the estimate and then had to chase down the representative to get an appointment to arrange for installation. Unreal.

Probably the most disorganized company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. For over one year they have not been able to provide me any quality of service. Their video monitoring service is horrible and their customer service is even worse. When you call their customer service line and you go over all the details of what is wrong with the service; they send the wrong people to actually fix the service. The service technicians have actually showed up to the job site without any tools or replacement parts. What is even worse is that you can call and talk to the customer service department and tell them the parts are defective and to bring extra equipment and they tell you on the phone that they will make sure that they will bring replacement cameras or equipment and they still do not show up. They also have a terrible customer service response rate and when you call back to the number that they tell you to call back from and talk to the extension and person that can help you; their voicemail box is either full or doesnt work. In my opinion this company may have grown too large too fast and they do not care about their customers at all and have horrible internal quality control measures. I have five offices with this company and I am so tired of trying to get them to fix an issue for one year that I now have my administrative assistant looking up other companies to switch our companies to a different provider. YUP its that bad! Avoid using them at all costs!!!!!

Ive had an excellent experience with Protection One and have had their services installed in two homes since 2011. The customer service folks at the 800 number are literally some of the best you will ever speak with at any company, and the local folks were good also. Im more than satisfied with their services- from sales to installation to service. I cant imagine why anyone would trust a horrid company like Comcast or Verizon with their familys security. You might at well just leave your doors unlocked.

Be very careful, once u sign that contract you have no way of dropping out of it and u have to pay them monthly and once you’re locked in, they give zero care to you what so ever since you have to pay them anyways. It’s borderline a scam with very poor service. I tried switching companies and they bragged about how there is nothing I can do since I have the contract. This is the first time I’m writing a bad review for any company

We just got started with this company and they are terribleFirst they gave us a quote in May and never scheduled install until August- claimed the salesman leftThen they came to install and created all new things we needed to add on to get our system to work - more chargesThey only did half the job quotedNow both the fire alarm and Burgler have gone off at least 6 times in 10 days for no reasonLots of attitude when you call customer service to get them to fix what they installedTheir answer is always more new equipment more chargesOur local fire and police areVery angry at all the false alarms and will charge us for each oneMy next call is to the AG to report themShame on ADT for attaching their name to protection 1

Do not get involved with this company! They lie and say anything to get you trapped in a contact. I wish I did more research.

Incompetent technicians, horrible costomer service in the local office, faulty equipment or improperly installed??? Do not recommend!
