While I was first impressed with their willingness to get me the best deal, when I missed my appointment due to a family emergency, they kept calling and calling. When I was able to go in for two tires and an alignment, they told me it would take no more than two hours but since I was waiting for the vehicle, they would try to have it finished in 90 minutes. It took over three hours. They did not provide updates and several attempts from me to get information on the delay, and finally losing my temper for them to get the lead out and my vehicle back to me. Walnut Creek Big O will never get another dollar of my business.

Brian and Big O tires are very reliable, honest and he was able to order and have tire replaced, alignment done as well with printed diagnostic report. Service was done in a very timely manner and car was finished and fitted with new tire sooner than was first estimated.

Pleasant environment to wait for your car repair as a staff is always smiling and making all customers feel at ease while they wait for their car to be done. I was helped by Jonathan Williams in the Walnut Creek, Ca store and he really made me feel like a valued customer. I retired from serving the public so I know great service when I see it. This young man went out of his way to help me and when he realized I was in a tight spot with my tires, he completely took charge and reassured me that he could take care of me, showing good leadership skills. I cannot overstate how much I was impressed with him and will recommend Big O Tires to others and to him in particular.

Maybe dont go in there with a Mecedes they may think you have alot of money burn, just went in for rotation on less than 37k evenly worn tires.Came out with recommending all 4 tires replacement needed, both shocks, both struts, cracked front arm bar for steering, cabin filter, engine filter.Nearly 10k later.Refused all but tires and balance and hazard warranty.Went to my mechanic next day, said all was fine! Good and tight! Believe i was up sold at this and maybe all Big Os

Really friendly and very fast service. I needed to replace all four of my commuters tires. And they got me in quickly and got me out way before the estimated release time. The tires were very inexpensive and with the promo discount, and alignment the total price was very affordable especially if you have a small budget or have multiple cars.I was thanked for my business twice by the guys inside and the tech who did my alignment. Im very happy with the service and the tires. I wouldnt hesitate to go back.

I was on my evening commute home when the tire pressure sensor starting flashing red, alerting me that I was losing air fast. A quick Google search and I noticed I was less than 2 miles from the nearest Big O tires. The problem was it was 6:50 and they were closing in 10 minutes. I drove straight there and the staff was very sympathetic to my situation. They stayed late to do my paperwork and let me leave the car overnight. It was ready to go by lunchtime the very next day. 10/10 service and value!

Four stars because I called this place in a panic after I hit a curb and popped my tire. Brian was really helpful and did as much as he could to get the job done as soon as possible which I really appreciated considering I had my baby with me. I knocked one star off because more than half the staff inside we’re not wearing masks, and it’s still a county mandate. I got that if there’s no customers around, you can do what you want. But I walked into the store with my baby, who is definitely unvaccinated and no one even offered to put their mask on except for Brian. I really appreciate how much Brian did for me, but under no circumstances will I ever return here. There’s no way that I would risk my safety or my child’s safety to get a tire fixed.

EXCELLENT Service!!! Needed an alignment on my sons car, called for availability and was told they could squeeze me in immediately, on a Saturday afternoon no less! I figured it would take at least a couple hours but they called me about 25 to 30 minutes later and it was done! CHEERS to Brian and the whole crew! I’ve always used Big O but it’s hit and miss these days. Really bad experience in Lafayette about six months ago. Really condescending man in a customer service position. I’ve been a customer of the Walnut Creek store for 20 years or more.Yesterday I admittedly was late for my appointment at the WC store. I had ordered four, very expensive, tires. Before I could even actually speak, the guy at the counter brusquely informs me “it’s going to be awhile, problems in the shop”. I wasn’t expectant of any special miracles, I simply ask how long. No definitive answer. Pretty rude. Other guys come in, he’s laughing and joking. Make of it what you will.But I acknowledge I was late. I sit down and three hours pass. I pay and leave. I look at my rims. They’ve been left filthy with oil and grime. I get my bandanna from my bag and I proceed to clean my wheels in the parking lot.Not their finest hour.

Geddy was great explaining all the auto services they provide. I always enjoy taking my cars there. The service is great.

These guys are awesome. Went out of their way helping me with tire selection and got me in and out in just a couple of hours. Everything was spot on and I highly recommend them.

Service was excellent. My only concern was a misunderstanding about what I ultimately wanted. I wanted the tire warning light to go out. I thought a fixed tire would do that. Turns out there were two bad tire sensors which I subsequently found out at Lexus dealer. I wish BOT had had given me some insight rather than telling me the light would go out after I drove a bit. While I realize this was a complex problem, I wish I as made aware of the nature of the potential problem even if BOT may not have had a fix.I still trust BOT and will return if I have needs.Philip Held.

I came by without an appointment because my tire pressure indicator light came on. I was pleasantly surprised to seen promptly snd especially yo learn that my tires were in stock snd could be installed that very morning. I took a walk and returned within an hour and a half to find my car ready. Service was cheerful, efficient and courteous as always.

I called this Big O tire on 06/22/21 to make a appointment to change 2 new tires for my van. They say first come first serve no need appointment. arrived at 11:00 am on 06/23/21. They finished my van at 3:00 pm. It is taking so so long for change 2 tires. Can You believe it?

Have needed a lot of work done on my car in the past couple months and the guys here have been VERY helpful. They take time to explain and double check and have physically shown me some issues my car is having. Brian and Johnathan have both gone beyond to check and relay the condition of my car so I can prioritize what work needs to be done. I may be lucky that certain parts for my make of car (Lexus) are often ordered to/nearby this location. Thus the wait for replacements depends more on my budget rather than sourcing parts. Prices here are also pretty good. Ive waited 2-4 hours for work to be done but I am easily entertained and plan on the waits. Some days are busier than others even if you make an appointment, so be flexible. Ive seen much worse. Theres a rental car location nearby as well. Really appreciate the service here so far.

I had a great experience at Big-O Tires in Walnut Creek. My only disappointment was that they did not have Michelin brand tires to fit my tire size (small), so I got another brand that they recommended. The installation was smooth and took about an hour, and they were able to suggest a couple of things that I needed to do for my car regarding some leaking that was going on. I do recommend them.

It was an easy process. The service rep did an excellent job of accommodating my time constraints.

I needed a replacement battery for my Ferrari 328. The previous Interstate battery lasted me….16 years! The crew at Big O tires in Walnut Creek ordered up an MTZ 34R battery and it was installed in no time.I must compliment them on following up with me that the battery and installation time was all set. It was a great experience and the car fires up easily.

Big O went above and beyond during my recent visit. Besides giving me a good price on good tires, they installed my new Tire Pressure Management System (TPMS) in my Class C RV. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional.

Im clueless when it comes to cars but Mike was able to help me understand what I need to get done and at what intervals. I now come here regularly for my three cars we own as a family.

I called the Walnut Creek Shop for a flat repair. Asked if they had time and they bring it right down. Went inside an the guy on the phone said he would be right with and would meet at my truck. Waited 20 minutes and talked to another guy and he said he would be right out after taking care of something. After 45 minutes I called another tire company. Walked in and filled out a repair order within 5 minutes and that is how customer service should be. I have used Big O sense I was in high school an never had a problem like this. When I get back to the shop I am canceling our Big O corporate account and setting it up with American Tires.

I feel they always do a good job for a decent price every time I take one of my vehicles in. I dont get chided into having more done than I want to do, and theyre a friendly bunch, too. The waiting room could use some sprucing up once we get past the covid precautions.

I always leave here satisfied and happy with the work done on my vehicle. They never push me into doing what i do not or can not afford to get done.

They had really nice staff, I used to like going here for general checkup and oil change. Customer service used to be friendly, really helpful, honest people. That faded away in the past years. Customer reps are less and less caring about the issues, just want to make money. Last time at my oil change they discovered that my old battery was bad which I assumed. I asked them to change it. I drove home to discover that they forgot to change the battery but didnt forget to charge me for it. They were helpful when I drove back and changed a battery to a new one. The new battery lasted a month and died as it had a bad cell. When we took the car back they charged us for both the battery replacement labor and the check although we went back to the same shop, even to the same person. Other shops help you change your battery for free even if they dont have to do it under warranty. Now they last a long term customer.

Got a great deal from groupon for a wheel alignment. Took it in early in the morning to get serviced. The guy at the front was nice and advised typically a 1-2 hour wait as there was another car ahead of us. Cool. We took a walk and shopped nearby. Came back around 1 1/2-2 hours later and our vehicle was on the rack looking like it was almost done with alignment. Tech takes it off the rack and out for a test drive, comes back and parks the car out front, passenger side of wheels over the white parking lines with another car parked next to it leaving little room for the other owner of other vehicle to get in. I went inside to pay for alignment, got results, car parked next to us gone and off we were. As we got on the freeway, the steering wheel is still off (driving straight but steering wheel is turned right). We debated going back but we are not ones to complain, so we just sucked it up and went on about our day. I’m only writing this review because Big O asked for a review and feedback not because I went out of my way to complain.Anyway, once we reached our next destination and parked I noticed a dent on the passenger side of our vehicle. We are almost certain it definitely happened during the alignment visit. Can’t honestly say for sure as we did not physically see anyone ding our car unfortunately. We have a 2020 so we look at our car very often and park as far away from other vehicles as possible as we did when we initially dropped the car off to avoid this exact situation. A great deal on wheel alignment ended up turning into more cost in having a mobile dent service come out and remove the dent.

Misconduct by employees. They totally blindsided me with an arrogant stunt. They reset my trip odometers, both of them. As if they have some right to, in complete disregard to whatever I want to measure. As if I am so stupid that I need to watch that for oil change. This is so aberrant they should have asked.

I took my daughter’s car in for an oil change and was very happy with the service. They were friendly, helpful, and I felt like I was being taken care of. There are chairs outside to wait while your car is being serviced. The place is clean and organized. I definitely recommend them!

Reason for low rating is my oil change - they overfiled my oil. Very dangerous for the engine. Crew was really very nice and genuine though.

Jonathan and Joe are two cool cats that work at Big O Tires. They checked the oil in my mini cooper and topped off the engine with fresh oil. They told me to comeback in two months when the oil change is due instead of trying to sell me an oil change that I didnt need at the moment. I will definitely comeback to Big O Tires for that five star service!

The guys here do a great job normally but this time they didnt rotate my tires after doing an oil change. Not a happy customer. I had to go elsewhere to rotate my tires. I paid a lot for my synthetic oil change.

If you have extra money and time this is the place for you! Got a Groupon for an oil change, called to make sure I bought the correct one so I wouldn’t have to pay more once I got there. I was told I would just have to pay taxes which would be around $9. I ended up paying $25 there making the oil change $68. Made an appointment thinking that would mean not having to wait and it took 3 hours...just to change my oil they didn’t even rotate my tired which I also confirmed they would do before bringing my car in. Flyers does oil changes for $30 and it’s faster. I wish I had known they weren’t going to do anything but change the oil. I wish they were more honest in the first place but I’m sure that’s why they need the Groupon otherwise people wouldn’t be so easy to fool?

Came in for some new tires. Cameron made sure I got all of the extra treatment my car needed as well. Will definitely be coming back!
