First time ever walking into a Harbor Freight and I was blown away by their product selection, especially when it comes to specialty tools and the prices where perfect. My intention with several employees, especially the store manager Leshsunt was top notch. I WILL BE BACK. Highly recommend.

Impressive! This store breaks the mold of many retail places in the area. Every time I have been there, the store has been organized and easy to find what I need. The staff knows details on product placement and stock levels. The staff is very friendly, helpful and seem to have a good working relationship with each other.Fun place to shop.

I have been looking in the store for 3 weeks for a small handtruck. It is never in stock and the ones on clearance never come in. Very disappointed in the store. I would have bought the display but you wouldnt sell it. Taking my business elsewhere. I do not order online.

Very disappointed. We live an hour away, tried to call in advance as we would be cutting it close to closing but needed a tool for time sensitive project for military related affair, instead was put on hold for more than 10 mins. Hung up and called back when we arrived a minute before close and saw the doors were already locked, the manager saw me through the window and said through the employee on the phone that there was nothing she could do. Very disappointed in the complete lack of customer care... I expressed I didn’t need to shop, that I’d even be fine if they just brought it out and I paid over the phone. Kinda seems like basic humanity woulda prevailed....

Nice store, a few items seem a bit overpriced.

Usually well stocked with decent prices. Fast checkout. Plenty parking spaces.

Staff was very helpful. Cashier radioed for a product not on the floor and it was brought to me. Floor staff pointed me to the other item I was there to purchase. Once the first item was received, I easily found other items related to it.

They seem helpful on the phone when i asked them about a bulk storage cart that I wanted to get couldnt pay for it online said store only so I ended up calling them about it spoke with 3 diff people they all said they had it that it was on the back even got a lady on the phone to see if i can buy it over the phone&pick it up later check to see if it would fit in my SUV she said it would she said I couldnt pay for it over the phone that it would be in the back I send my husband to get it. Keep in mind I called a few time to makes sure they said they had one. Now when he came they told him no they didnt have one the manager said he just sold it I was like ok, But then when I called back and said the one in the back he said no we never had this item that they only had a display one in the case and thats the reason that it shows one online. Which my husband is in the store trying to figure out whats going on so they put me on hold another guy gets on hes the one I spoke to earlier he says no we do have one my manager is talking to some guys about it and Im like yes thats my husband. Manager gets on the phone tells me that he doesnt have it even though he said he sold one earlier. the story doesnt add up 1) they had it in the back had another person check made sure it would fit in my car 2) then they sold it. 3) then they never had one in the 1st place only display one 3)the manager said were looking at the wrong item even though i gave them a sku merch item number and they asked me details of it. Just felt very dishonest answers by the manager.

I ordered a generator on October 19, was told it would be delivered by the 28th. No generator. Called on the 30, was told it shipped on the 28th and I would have it by the 2nd of November. No generator. Did I mention they have my money and I was promised a refund on my shipping charges. This was my first and will be my last time purchasing anything from Them. I will definitely spread the news to all my family and friends to NOT PATRONIZE HARBOR FREIGHT!!!!

First, let me say their staff is amazing. I found this place by Google search when Lowes didn’t have what I needed. They are so helpful and knowledgeable. And the prices?! You can’t beat them! So glad I found this store!

Always a fun trip. Just be sure if you buy that large item youve been wanting, to only purchase that single item to be able to use your coupon. Otherwise they will discount the lowest price item in your pile at checkout. Thats right, you can thank me later.

Beware the fine print on those 20% Off on any one item. ... If you can read it. I purchased a $2.79 item and a $49.95 item. Harbor freight gave me a whopping 56 cent discount on the $2.79 item. I was in a hurry and did not notice until I got home. It seems that fine print excludes over half the store inventory.

They have everything you need and the price is always right.

I appreciate Harbor Freight Tools for really good deals and prices on tools. Its like the Walmart of Tools. You can catch the same type of tools at Home Depot but significantly cheaper. So far Ive bought an inverter and lawn hose attachment. The staff is very friendly and helpful at this Waldorf location.

Went to get a case they pulled it over hr away when we got there it was damaged and wouldnt shut or seal. Said they would take 14 dollars off a 159 case. Would have been nice to know before driving so far. Will drive to Fredericksburg

Nice store but a lot of out of stock

Very clean. Had a restroom in the back left corner (single stall but male and female) that I needed from our road trip. Odd place to stop and pee but my Dad needed a drill key and they had one. 2 birds, one stop.

I like be that HF has finally opened within 25 min of my home. Im a huge DIYer and have fallen in love with their Hercules line. The store stays busy but the customer service is always top notch and they get you in and out.

The sign says it all. Lowest prices!. I went in to check it out. Its a treasure trove of DIY items without the miles of walking. I had a hole in my wall so I was able to stuff it with steel wool (1.99) and cover it with a patch ($4ish). Worked out beautifully! Ill definitely be back!!

I was super excited to find out that HF had opened a store within 20 miles of me. I patronize the hell out of them for cheap tools. This new store is clean. Its seems that they havent quite figured out how to quickly and efficiently service customers who are checking out.

I had a coupon with a 10% discount because the store in Virginia was out of stock. The cashier said that the discount wasnt coming up, so he asked the manager about it and the manager told him not to accept it because he didnt know who issued it. The manager seemed to have an attitude and didnt want to take the time to look at it. I asked him what was the managers problem, he said that he didnt know because he had just came in.

We couldnt wait for this store to open. All they give for free is a light, the same dam light! The other Harbor freight offers batteries, tarp, etc. They are organized & always stocked.

Good customer service

A sales person told me that she didnt have a lesser priced item and that the more expensive one was the only one that was available so when she left I checked with another associate today at check inventory and told me that it was available!!! The surface from the two individuals who found what I needed was superb but the fact that I was lied to buy a previous individual its only worth one star.

Being in the service industry with a major car manufacturer, I can speak with knowledge on the difference between quality vs sub standard customer service. Harbour Freight et all, and more specifically the Waldorf Md location, need to re evaluate their interaction with customers. I researched a product on their website, decided on the right choice, called the waldorf store to confirm if it was in stock. The less than enthusiastic employee confirmed for me that they had the item in stock. I inquired as to whether or not I could purchase the item on line and pick it up in the store. I was advised that that was not an option. (Problem one with harbour freight. Your competitors offer online purchase with store pick up). Responded to the store only to be told that they have some of the items in stock but they were ALL SOLD. (Problem two with harbour freight). Couldnt tell me that BEFORE I drove to the store and waisted my time? Nevermind-----went online to a competing business----purchased desired product, went to local store and picked it up. Teachable moment for harbour freight decision makers----if youre so inclined.

For the weekend warrior or someone who doesnt need the premium tool, harbor freight is where its at. I can get a decent version of a tool Ill use occasionally and all too many times Ive found having the right tools instead of something you try to make work makes a huge difference - like a hammer drill and hammer drill bits.
