I had to help this beautiful 95 yr old beautiful lady move away from this dangling stuff above the entrance/ exit to Giant. It was still there 3 days later, 5 it was fixed’

Giant food has really impressed me! We are a military family and weve lived in many different cities all over the US and this is the first time we have used Giants. They always have a great selection and things in stock. Today was the first time I ordered groceries on the app and then I went to pick it up everything smooth and wonderful They also have a drive-thru pharmacy! How awesome keep up the work Giants... Bought a fresh salad at the salad bar, then picked up a few pre made and salad kits. Good deals all around, did self checkout too, which is a breeze for those not doing heavy shopping.

I went to this Giants to take a friend of mines she had to go shopping to get her some groceries. I never been to this one but it was a nice Giants as well out in Waldorf I like this one too I would definitely recommend it. Good selection of food.

This Giant in Waldorf was a joy to shop in as compared to the one in Temple Hills, MD where I actually live. Different as day and night. I saw products I have never seen before. Large variety of foods, fruits, vegetables and dry goods. Loved shopping there. I got all I needed an more.

Love this well stocked and clean store! Picked up my favorite Tuscan Pasta Salad and Shrimp Salad from the deli. They were delicious as usual.

I know they had done some remodeling over the years. They have a good selection of different foods. They aim to stay current and the people that work there are helpful and friendly. It is a great place to shop.

Religiously sold out of common products. Always understaffed. Customer base is by far the most unruly and rude. I honestly have nothing good to say.Just go to la plata.

Crowded and inefficient design clogged aisles, slow and unhelpful cashiers. It a wonder no one had a freak out while I waited in line at the self service.

Lots of good choices and very clean.

I think this will be my last visit here. Went in to shape up my haircut. I Even showed a picture so there was no confusion. My stylist ( I will just say her name begins with a B) seemed to just do her own thing, I ended up with an extremely short asymmetrical haircut. One side is 2 inches longer. Needless to say I wanted to cry! Incredibly frustrated.

One of the nicer designed Giants. Clean, well lit, wide aisles, even the ventilation seems better. The deli and butcher counters are spacious, not cramped and unappealing like some of the other locations. Its 15 minutes further than my local Giant, but I spend more time (and money) at this location because I enjoy the shopping experience.

The store is nice and clean. But the customers are a rowdy/ghetto most of them look like they came from the disgusting armpits of D.C and P.G most of the creatures come from cross the county line.

Store was well marked for COVID, its clean & well organized. Aisles are clearly marked & with signs in the aisle for specific sections of food also! It was stocked well for most items. Meat department had a large variety of meat stocked. Fruits & veggies were fresh & stocked well. The check out area is AWESOME! Self check out has a large area for 15 items or less & beside that there are regular self check out lanes! Thats a major plus!! Their store Brand is good quality food at the lower price. The down side is the prices are High!!! Without going over my budget, I have less quantity of food. Im on a fixed income therefore higher prices & less food doesnt work well.

We only went for puppy food but everything was good short lines and friendly people and staff

Giant is always neat, their floors be shining like a set of new stainless steel pots. Their checkout is also very fast unlike Safeway which is also very dirty.. Anytime am in a hurry, I go there cos I know they not wasting my time. You get mostly every grocery u might need at Giant.

Visited this Giant Food location before an upcoming ice storm. I waited till later so the rush died down a bit. They were stocked with everything I needed. Aisles were tidy and clean. Staff was helpful and kind.

The check out process was fast but I didnt find one if my main items. I was looking for Fordhook limas. They are so hard to find.

Great customer service

I am giving one star because of the horrid experience I encountered today with a team member at the self checkout. I visit Giant very frequently to get all my needs when I’m shopping next door at moms organic, in which I regret I did not visit moms organic today to finish my thanksgiving shopping. Myself and another lady went to self checkout with a few items over 15 or less nevertheless not a full cart of items. Myself and the lady was confronted disrespectfully by a middle aged lighter skin lady with a bejeweled face mask on yelling out rudely, YOU CANNOT COME IN THIS LINE YOU HAVE TOO MANY ITEMS! I did not have an issue with the policy but I did notify her I come here often and I have over 15 items maybe even 20 if that small items by the way. I walked away to put items back as the regular checkouts was very long. I attempt to return to self checkout line mind you nobody was there in terms of customers completely empty, the rude Employee shouts out again you cannot come in this line I told you the first time, I tell the employee ma’am I put items back so I could return why are you denying me to pay for my items. The employee puts her hand in front of me blocking me from going to self checkout line, I attempt to inform her I’ll just put everything back and just pay for my elbow macaroni and two rotisserie chickens, she blocks me again, and rushes towards me to get in my face violating my personal space. I pull my mask down to tell employee give me six feet please ! You’re being rude and very disrespectful violating my space and to charge towards me. Employee walks away and calls manager from customer service, I attempt to explain what occurred, she yells out 15 items or less I was emotional at this point due to employee charging towards me and violating my space as if she was going to hit or push me, manager walks away and calls store manager in which he was even more disrespectful walking up on me as if he was going to get in my face. Store manager is arguing with me without asking what took place in which I became frustrated at employee and his behavior towards a customer and a woman. Store manager calls Charles county police stating I refused to leave and disturbance over me being upset and reacted out of emotion being charged at and employee in my face to argue. Officer arrives to confront store manager in which I walked to office to plead my case and what occurred. To make matters worse officer informed me politely store manager is banning you from store and not to return. So basically I am banned because I got emotionally standing up for myself after a giant employee violated my personal Space as if she wanted to fight or make a point. I am not upset at being banned, as I support black owned businesses anyway or go out of my way to for fresh items, but upset because employee was not reprimanded or authorities did not get employee info as she was confrontational to me and no action towards her. I’ve lived in Waldorf for many years and so I’m aware of the discrimination and prejudice, but I am writing this review as I am appalled I am being banned as a long time customer for an employee’s actions, behavior and attitude. I was only advised by officer to make complaint and call corporate office to release ban. I doubt this will occur but I would like to take action against all three parties: employee, manager & store manager. It was ridiculous police was involved as officer stated as well over 15 items or less issue that could have been resolved with customer service skills as a store manager. I work in DC with a at risk and mental population and I’ve never had an issue like this before in my life, so to have it as a longtime Waldorf resident is very disappointing. I’ve never been in trouble in my life, arrested or familiar with criminal system, so to be banned is definitely a slap in the face. My black dollars will go elsewhere where they belong. It’s just unfortunate giant will no longer receive the handsome amount of money I put into their store every other day or week.

Just a quick trip to pick up a few crucial holiday items that were forgotten. The parking lot was a nightmare & of course the store was crowded, but they were prepared. Every register was open. Yes! It was a very short wait. All items were available, except the elusive paper towels. All things considered, it was a successful shopping trip, especially since it was the day before a major holiday. Thank you Giant!

Store in Waldorf is a bit bigger than Lanham and its newer. Nice place. They still dont have Lysol and wipes. Who is hoarding this stuff?

I like this giant. The fruit looks.good. the veggies look good. The aisles are wide enough and they also have fresh fish. Some things are overpriced in this supermarket though.

What can I say, John has held a standard since I was a kid and in this store theyre still holding that standard. When I have to make the choice between that and Safeway because of the convenience the product availability and the service, as much as I love shopping at my Safeway I have to give giant hands down the better rating because they have had a number of items that I was looking for that I could not find at Safeway. That is why even today when I have to make a choice on going grocery shopping I still feel that Giant will have the things that I need or want. But again, I take nothing from my Safeway except the fact that a number of times when I was looking for items such as pies desserts soups Etc, I knew that they would be at Giant.

Great store with a variety of all the items I was looking for but all my produce went bad with in one day or it was already bad because on the outside it looked fine but once I cut into some of my fruit they were already bad!

Normally I am please with this store but since the pandemic something has gone wrong with the freshness of their meat. On three separate occasions I purchased meat (chicken, hamburger, and perch (fresh)) and they all were bad. When I opened the package the smell smacked me in the face.

This is one of the best Giant grocery stores in this area. Its large and has been newly renovated. As a result it has great variety.The ability to get seafood steamed on the spot is a community favorite. The salad bar is often fresh. This location has self checkout also which allows for quick check out.

This Giant has a really nice hot bar. Its Produce Section is awesome. This time of year I enjoy the Honey Crisp Apples. Seafood out of this world. The Salmon with Bourbon Sauce is so so good & they will put the sauce on for you. Crab Legs, Shrimp all good. The store is always neet, clean & organized. If you cant find what your looking for the sales associates are more than willing to help. Thats so rare these days. Go & shop!

Of the three grocery stores in the area I prefer Giant. Its clean the staff is helpful and the meat and produce is well stocked with the items I need. There is a gentleman that works in the area with the fruits and veggies that goes above and beyond. Just a pleasure to see when shopping. He gives chit chat, if you dont see an item he will go at length to get it. He embodies true customer service!! They have precut luncheon meat to go at the deli.

Always pleasant when I shop at Giant in Waldorf Maryland. I brought a Hello Fresh for the first time. My husband enjoyed it. I followed the directions except for add salt. It still came out delicious.

Yesterday was the first time I ever experienced purchasing bad meat. I ALWAYS do tacos on Tuesday. Yesterday I put the meat in a pan and it was horrible. It did have a strong smell when I first opened it but immediately upon it cooking I never smelled anything like it. I was sure if it was the store or Perdue but it was awful. I went back to the store to return it the customer service was great, which I wanted to give a higher rating. I replaced the meat only to return home and have the same issue with the next pack I got from the back. My concern is that this could have made my family sick. There were two of the same items cooked and it was bad. Im not sure if the meat came in bad or the area isnt cold enough but Im sure other meat was sold. This is a huge concern that people could ingest bad meat. This causes other illnesses that are potential in causing death. I was very disappointed and alarmed that twice this happened along with the fact I had to depend on preparing another meal for my family that broke our family tradition. It may not mean a lot but my children were disappointed by all this and it was just too late to waste gas by making yet another trip to the store.

No issues, they are changing the place around so things a little more difficult to find. But once its done, I think itll look really nice. Im actually excited to see it. Theyve also expanded their organic and non-gmo products. Im happy about that too.

I like this grocery store usually; good selection, good prices, good specials, the store is clean, staff is helpful. But lately, theres been some glitches. Most grocery stores now have digital coupons. Giant cant seem to get theirs to work. Ive had problems with them on a couple of occasions. I was told today that they can no longer correct digital coupon errors in the store (!) and you have to contact corporate! (Hmmm, that tells me its not just me.) Corporate of course, isnt available on the weekends. Major FAIL Giant. If you cannot get digital coupons to work, stop offering them. Or do what your competitor does: digital or clippable.

I love shopping in this place. Giant Food is just the place that meets your needs when it comes to fresh food. I love it there.

This is not my regular Giant, however I do like to shop this one once in awhile as it is larger w/more variety. I will only shop this location really late as it is an extremely congested area during the day & evening hours. Between 11pm & closing it is so nice & quiet so much so they have just one register open, which my checkout person tonight was very polite & helpful too as she noticed a coupon for an item I was purchasing printing & swiped it for me instead of making me wait til my next trip. Considering my financial situation or lack of currently, I really appreciated that, esp when it saved me an addtl $2. Thank you
