Best. Place. Ever. ...for all your comic book needs and wants!!

Place seems simple from the outside but going in it was well organized and had a variety of graphic novels, comics, figures, busts, and manga to name some. It was void of people except for the cashier but we went on Christmas day so Im sure that had something to do with it. It really was easy to get lost at everything on display and with posters, decorations, and little figures displayed like action scenes. My son had a great time just being there and taking everything in. If you love comics, there should be no reason not to come here

It had a decent selection of $1 back issues, But I felt it was a very limited stock.. no real employee interaction although they all seemed nice/helpful enough.. they had a 30% off credit / 40% off cash deal on everything on free Comic Book Day that was cool, made me wish Id had brought cash,but still got a good deal.. Id make it a 5 Star review but DC merchandise was very limited...

It is a great comic book store. Great staff, excellent customer service, and awesome selection of titles to choose from.

The owner was fine. But unfortunately the store is probably going out of business as it looks like the owner sold most of his inventory.

I absolutely enjoy coming here. Have been coming here for a couple of years. The staff are incredibly nice, knowledgeable and each time I go I get to engage in thoughtful and enjoyable conversation unlike most places. They have what I am looking for and are helpful. Wide selection, decent prices. Have taken my daughters and nephew there a couple of times. They enjoy going with me when I go. Would recommend to others.

Decent shop. Good selection. Guy behind the counter ignored me until he saw I was actually buying. Store was like an icebox...

Not a bad collection from a pretty small store, they have things neatly organized by old and current runs, and they have some classics and toys in the store as well. If youve been to other comic book stores dont come in expecting the usual conversation youd find from comic shop employees, the place felt more like a library when I entered. The clerk looked up from his phone about 10 seconds after I walked in, saw me, then looked back down without saying a word when I greeted him.

Today, I took my 6 year old son here for his first comic book store visit and he loved it. We picked up 2 comic books and my son read one before we got home. Paul helped us out and he’s awesome. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely visit again.

If your looking for anything comic, this is the place. They also have a selection of figures and other comic related items. Great store and a must see if in the area. The only problem I have is the staff is cold half the time will just flat out ignore you.

Small, but the employees are pleasant and dont seem to be into the gatekeeping comics elitism you find in a lot of other nerd spaces. I feel at ease here, which is a blessing.

Okay first I went into the store to purchase some boxes for my old comic books.Nobody welcome me into the store saying welcome they were talking to each other some guy and the guy running the register about the guy looking to gay his outfit and when I went to ask him about the boxes he kept an eye on me like I was going to steal something and he just gave me all these dirty looks and he didnt like me asking questions theres no friendliness in the store, the store is clean, lot of stuff maybe a little overpriced but theres no Hospitality of any kind of service in the store thats why I gave it three stars.Didnt even ask what I was looking for, I do know better places to pick up comics and supplies.I havent bought comics since 2003 wanted to start again might go digital............

Nice selection of trades, back issues, and $1 bin comics; but, if you need to buy new comics on a Wednesday you need to setup a pull list because they dont order that many.

Been here twice. First trip the clerk was pretty rude. I just thought eh what ever probably having a bad day. Second trip was last week on new comic day. The one new comic I wanted was sold out. I was told that I should have pre ordered it? Kinda silly if you ask me. Ruins the idea of comic shops in general. If I wanted to pre order something I would just get a subscription.

My wife and I have been coming to this store since we moved to Upper Marlboro. The staff is kind and knowledgable, yes some things are a little over priced. They only issue I have is that my wife started a book for upcoming comic book series that she want to get. They do not answer their phone AT ALL! We are driving from upper Marlboro, so I call to make sure we have something in her box before coming but of course no one answers the phone. It hasnt happened yet but I drive all the way there and I have nothing in my box, I will be pissed. Dont have a number to give to the public and you dont answer. Great place but you guys need to get better with this!

I wanted to check this shop out because its the closest one located to me. I stopped in and the store clerk was on his phone the entire time with some buddy of his talking about sword play and the new Star Wars movie. Nevertheless, I browsed around for awhile and noticed how limited their stock was and how excessive their prices were for variant covers. I made the mistake of walking to the counter and gesturing to the clerk that I had a question about where they keep their new arrivals and the ratio of their overpriced variant covers, the clerks response when I interrupted his phone conversation was what do you need...seriously? When he did take a break from his important social call, he really didnt provide me answers to the questions posed regarding the variant ratios, nor did he bother to try and get me one...instead he just went back tom chatting on the phone. I really hope that was one hell of a phone call because I usually spend $100-$200 every month at my regular store (which I drive 45 min out of my way to get there), and it looks like Ill continue to do so from here on out. HoPC INC...NOT impressed, this store is lacking in so many ways.
