I Brought a Sonata for my son from there about 3 yrs ago, Mind u the sales guy owner was really nice lol ... made ya feel real comfortable. After a few weeks we noticed the back break lights would not activate upon pressing on the break ..... We took it. back and they did a repair but then the problem returned as we didnt get any real help from Prize Auto .... Fortunately my son totaled it and we were able to get compensated from the insurance company lol ..... Prize Auto has some great looking cars and a nice sales guy but the cars are most likely from Fla or some place that recently had a storm or some location where as they get the cars into a sell condition and then pass it on to us the poor consumers

Prize Auto, a joke. anything but a prize. I purchased this car back in June 2021 and it seemed to work for about a week until the check engine light came on. I took it back to them and they claim they “fixed” it By putting new spark plugs and eventually I had a host of other problems to go along with that. The people there never returned my calls or ever were transparent with my business. after the papers were signed it was a big “haha FU” for them. The car is broken down now! It was my mistake being cool to them, and being that, I was sold a lemon. At this point in time I’ve spent close to $1000 into my vehicle that I’ve had for three months and they will be hearing from a professional lawyer. DO NOT EVER, NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! The salespeople are crooks - rude and arrogant. JUAN, TEE and LISA! DO NOT TRUST THEM!

Worst dealer ever!! Dont go there dont waste your time bad cars that they temporarily fix then once they sell it to you and it goes bad they are not responsible and they overcharge interests!! They dont deserve to be open idk how the government allows scam businesses like PRIZE AUTO to remain open! Avoid at all cost even if you are in need of a car! This dealership has been know to selling cars with check engine lights that come on after a few days just wished I had know that before my wife bought a car from here took it back and they didnt want to fix it lucky I have a friend who is a mechanic who was able to solve the issue on the car while discovering other issues on the car finally fixed thanks to him do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere you been warned dont be like us and end up buying a lemon.

I would put zero stars but unfortunately that’s not an option I was in about two days ago after finding a vehicle on car gurus it was listed out about almost $9000 when all was said and done I would be paying about $23,000 for a used Buick with the check engine light on the check engine light didn’t come on until the day after driving away from the dealership they basically lied to us and told us that they were just gonna cancel the deal right out from under us and bring the car back as soon as possible. What they don’t understand is I had to pay $400 to get a rental vehicle just To get to a dealership to purchase said car. The best part of all is that the blue book value of this car is only about $6000

Good cars great prices

Went to prize auto spoke with somaya on buying a car. Bank finally gave the okay for the loan which at first they were trying to make me go with their bank with 24% vs 7%apr. I purchased the car April 19th2021 and as soon as I got to Baltimore it had the engine light on. I explained the problem and wanted them to fix it within the 7day warranty. They tried to say they have & then not have I finally spoke with somaya saying I need the warranty extended which they lied and did NOTsend which I then told her if I have not received it I will be dropping the car off. We came back on the last of day of the 7 days 4/26 and had a verbal agreement with CHAZ AND CJ to come back before 4pm the next day for a full refund on 4/27. & when I took out my air filter that I had to replace because of a very LOUD cold start (which they have the car running for a while so you don’t hear the noise until you start it after it’s been a while) Chaz asked why & I said because it’s mines and I’m returning the car I bought it. & he had the nerves to say “When u get a car you have problems” umm no not with a new car for 10,000+. I come the next day and SEAN Godman threatened to call the police on me Why? Because I’m black. Other car salesmen act Cj sold lemons acting oblivious to the conversation we had and while working on car problems of another customer. only wanted to refund the 589.00 of 1600 down payment. & added these funds for return. Looking for remainder balance for lemon car. Problems were dirty air filter, no caps on parts of engine, purge control valve broken, broke key fob.If I could give no stars I would.

This place is a scam. The owner Zack is unbelievable. I was told I was approved for a loan when I wasn’t. I had to take the car back. They told me I had to pay fees because they gave me false information about the loan. I payed them two down payments & they refused to refund me my money. I paid for my insurance & had my paperwork. Apparently it didn’t matter because we never had a loan & they let us drive off the lot with the car. Zack avoided talking to me about the situation 3 times. The manager called to try to get me my refund but he ended up turning off his phone so he couldn’t see her calls. I got a portion of my money back but my friend wanted to figure out the issue himself. He suggested to talk to Zack himself since he knew more about loans & cars than me. Zack ended up calling the police on me just because we agreed taking my money was unfair. He started yelling at me & provoking me when I was waiting for the police to come. Zack has put a restraining order on me as well because I came with factual information proving he was wrong for what he was doing. The two officers that responded also were on my side & suggested for me to definitely file a law suit. The car I also was financing was messed up. The engine light turned on one week into me driving it & Zack the owner said it was me who caused it. I had not had the car long enough to create such damages. Also took it to a mechanic who also said it couldn’t be me. Don’t waste your time with this business.

Prize Auto is a scam! They took all my money and left me with no vehicle! They sold me a car with the ABS light on and the tire was flat when I got it off the lot it was so damaged I couldnt drive on it but a mile and had to call the man CJ who sold me the car to where I was to show him that the tire was flat and the guy had supposedly put air in the tires before it left than when we got the tire off we found out there was a big gash in the tire so I drove to the dealership the next day and the owner tried to deny that the tire was like that and even the mechanic had to tell him the tire was losing air when I got it. They will take your money and waste your time and leave you with mechanical issues! They are worthless! They have been reported to the better business bureau and I am reporting them today!

Bought a car July 28, 2020 and still today (January 26, 2021) have not received a title. So many mistakes all over starting with wrong vin number on paperwork. Cant get insurance because of vin issue and now being fined thru DMV. Had a MVA Appointment and they didn’t show so another delay. They (John and Liz) never follow thru or return your calls. This is crazy, buyer PLEASE beware!!!Reply to John...Not all DMV issues. Your title person Liz created many accounts with the different Vin Numbers and title numbers, so the documents were missed placed in the MVA portal. You were supposed to follow up with sending the original documents and that didn’t happen (you promised to provide MVA tracking but you didn’t).As of today, February 4, 2021 we still have no title, vin number is not corrected and we owe almost $600 in MVA fees because Allstate would not cover due to the Vin being incorrect on your paperwork.Buyer Beware!

Drive pass and go to a decent dealership! Don’t waste your time or money. The cars are lemons or lemonade cups of bull. Very disappointed with this place. I spent over 9k for a 2011 Equinox with 88k miles, looks good on the outside but was a lemon. They sold me this truck with transmission and engine problems and stated it passed MD inspection. I still have paper tags and the repairs will cost just as much as I brought it for. Don’t buy from here. Go to another dealership that offers warranties and service support. I haven’t received any help or support for this car since I drove it off the lot. Check your paperwork and read fine print. They took advantage of a woman. Take a male with you to talk shop. The staff is very money friendly not friendly or helpful at all. I want some of my money back. How did it pass inspection with major engine issues... inspection paperwork is fraud. ALL LIES.

I am a bit surprised at many of the bad reviews here. I guess every situation is different. However I just bought a vehicle for my daughter this past weekend and my wife and I had a very good experience. Chaz and Jon the finance manager were very good and even bought us lunch. I have good credit so there was no issue getting financed. They even pulled the auto check on a few vehicles they had to let me know which vehicles had the best score and what had or didnt have accident events reported. The vehicle we bought test drove well, was tight and had 96K miles. They do have some vehicles with a lot of miles and I assume there may be issues with them at some point given the many miles. But I would expect that if I was buying something with many miles. I cant speak for everyone, but again our experience was a good one. In fact we are dropping it back off this evening to have it detailed for free before I surprise my daughter with it.

Cozy and friendly environment, good variety of cars. These guys do very good regardless of their location and the limited size of the lot. They do know what their customers want and try their best to cater to them. Unfortunately, the car that I drove to see was sold the same morning. It is my fault though, I should have called. Assumed it will be there but again, I should have called )) Thank you Prize Auto for being so welcoming. I will keep you guys in mind for future.

Horrible, Unenthusiastic with very little costumer service experience. There’s a guy there with orange-ish/red-ish hair that was just horrible. He acted like he didn’t want to sell me a car and kept rolling his eyes when he was asked to help me. A guy named Ron was a typical used car salesmen. Kept repeating the same thing over in a different way. When I asked about a sunroof being fixed on a car that was priced at 10k. He did not want to make a deal on fixing the sunroof and add that into the cost or if I fixed it to take what it cost off the price of the vehicle. The building needs to be torn down and rebuilt with a lot of TLC reeked of weed.Left there and went straight to Car Max in Brandywine, MD and got me the same vehicle for 1k more and literally 60k miles less.

Huge selection and the prices are at least $2000 below anyone I could find. No fuss, no games, no issues. Extremely satisfied! Definitely recommend to anyone that wants a good deal for a good used car!

The way this place does business is unusual to say the least. Unprofessional finance guy and an owner who wont even acknowledge your existence. Their only saving grace is a friendly salesman. We went in 3 times to make a deal on a car and went up in our budget EACH TIME, and EACH TIME, they wasted our time and let us walk right out. That evening we went to a reputable dealer and bought another vehicle. Waste of time.

In the years of buying a car, this is the first time that I can say a dealership truly cared about our family in the process. Lauren & Toya really listened to what we needed, our budget, and what we desired as well. We were in and out (which I was definitely not expecting having spent a full day in dealerships before). I would definitely recommend you checking them out... great inventory and pricing.

WORST experience EVER! 6 months after purchase my transmission is gone completely thank God I had sense enough to extend the warranty on the truck or I wouldve been out of thousands of dollars...Finance guy is a joke and so are the salesmen. They offered to replace the key fob since the one they gave me was missing buttons...that one worked for a week....save your money and go somewhere else. Unless you have thousands set asside to gamble on these vehicles its not even worth the risk.

So i went to this place Friday put down my deposit of 2500. Today is Tuesday and the check engine light is on the car won’t lock because i don’t have the proper keys to the car. I’m being blown off they are taking the cars to personal mechanics an inspection places just to get a sale. This place is fraud i haven’t fully had my car for 24 hours an i can get a refund nor my vehicle fixed today. Please stay away this place is very janky

I came to this place looking for a first car for our son for a Christmas present. The owner had a car in mind when I explained what I was looking for. However it wasnt here at the time because she had to do one thing. She wasnt going to rush it at first but she saw the panic on my face. She made it happen the next day! The service here was excellent!
