They told me they were 30 min away, after an hour goes by they call to reschedule to the next day at 9:30am. The next morning they won’t answer the phone then 9:30 comes and they’re asking to reschedule till 12. Don’t have time for poor communication and poor customer service. Will not try to use this business again.

They did exactly what I asked AND MORE! I needed a lifter replaced and head gasket seal. They are efficient and knowledgeable! Thought I had a rear main seal oil leaked but they thoroughly checked and saw that my oil sensor was loose and that’s where the leak was. Tightened the sensor and got my truck back to me ASAP!

I was recommended to this shop and was skeptical because I had a lot of work to be done and never had a vehicle requiring that much work. The mechanic did an awesome job. They communicated honestly very well from start to finish. Very flexible! I received the service that I was promised plus more because they fixed and informed me of some other issues they noted. Pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend this business and would use them again in the future if needed!

I had been waiting to hear from my mechanic for a few days to tune my daughters car. Something had happen to my mechanic. I needed to get my daughters car tuned and service quickly to get her back to college since I did not hear back from my guy. A small still voice said in side of me, mobile car service. I was skeptical at first because I had never used mobile car service before, but then because of COVID and needing quick brake service I selected Key Mechanics in Waldorf based on their web reviews. Key Mechanics was convenient, exceptionally quick, better price compared to traditional shops, with superb customer service! The mechanic pulled up, told me I needed to do nothing, not even come outside. He was super friendly and professional, quickly fixed and test drove my car, and then was gone. I didn’t have to do a thing to assist him in servicing my car. I called the office after the brakes were done to pay for the service, which the rep was most accommodating. The service rep suggested sending me an invoice via text or email for security purposes, rather than taking my credit card information over the phone. And the cost of the brake repair was way cheaper than going into a traditional shop. Customer service was superb. I’m using Key Mechanics for ALL of my mobile car repairs! They are totally worth it!

I have been looking for a few days for a mobile auto mechanic to work on my 97 Dakota. Needed a fuel pump replacement and a belt replacement. The first two mobile mechanics I contacted responded on the initial request than went dark. I opened a chat with Key Mechanics at 10pm on a holiday and received a response in minutes. They fit me into their schedule a day later. The team that came on-site was professional, courteous did a good job, completed the repairs for a very good price. No up-sell, no hidden costs and a job well done. If you need a mechanic That is willing to come to you, check them out.

Key the owner was awesome! You can tell he is very passionate about his team and business. Had a few hiccups but Key was a phone call away and was very responsive. The young, consummate professionals at Key Mechanics were knowledgeable, attentive, courteous, timely and thorough. They came the same day that I called, diagnosed the problems, ordered the parts and repaired the vehicle in no time at all. They checked and double checked their work and made sure that the car was in great condition. I enthusiastically encourage others to utilize their services. Key used to be great! Now that he uses Derrick who has no transportation, no working phone, no voice mailbox, and no working memory, it is hard to get repairs completed. Every time I call Derrick, he thinks Im someone else. Not to mention Ive already paid him over $300 to work on my truck. This first $300 charge was paid after a $150 estimate. His estimates are off. His time of arrival is off if he shows up at all. Lastly, he would rather play video games than repair vehicles. The Saturday I went to get my truck, it was zip tied for the repair and he was too busy with a game he was in the middle of so he quickly ran back into the shop. I would not trust anyone but Key, but he isnt around much nowadays.

Called another company before calling Key Mechanics and they scheduled me for the next day. Mind you this is 9pm on a Tuesday and I needed someone there ASAP. Someone contacted me via text asking me what service do I need. I explained to them the situation and the vehicle and for a fee they would send someone out when hes done with his routes (Emergency Services) . I agreed and a mechanic by the name of Derrick called me explaining that he has one job in front of me and hell call when hes done. He did he arrived at my residence at 12:15am and started working immediately. 4+ hours later he was done. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and all around a great guy. I would definitely recommend this company if you are in need of a Mobile Mechanic! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the company that I called before calling Key Mechanics. They did call me back Wednesday, but had to push me back another day😐. Thats cool, but I dont need your service ✌🏽.

Called this business at 8:30am by 9:30 am the mechanic Derrick was at the used car dealer that I am buying a car from and performed a full pre car buy inspection for me on the lot. He informed me of what needed to be done and by what inspection standards. He communicated well and helped me to make an informed decision based on his analysis. The service was very poor. Mechanic never return or Call to complete service. I will not recommend or use service ever again. Took my money and ran.It has been two weeks and not a word.

Got a huge estimate from my dealership to fix a loud knocking sound. Called key mechanics and got a price for the repair and Derrick came out. Derrick told me that the repair requested wasn’t needed and what was causing that sound was the lower control arm. Showed me everything and returned a few days later with the correct part and did the install. Test drove it afterwards and the knocking was gone. I will definitely use key mechanic again! Derrick was great and professional and I trusted his assessments and he was right! Save yourself time and get a great price with key mechanic!

Found my new go-to mechanics! I had my front & rear rotors and pads replaced in about 2 hours and I didnt have to leave home. They were professional and courteous from the first contact. Explaining what parts were needed, options for scope/costs and were flexible regarding installation. He was transparent with the pricing structure and provided additional guidance on what to expect now that the work is done. Not to mention, they were WAY cheaper than the dealership. I had a great experience using Key Mechanics. I assumed that I needed rear brake pads based off a noise I was hearing. They came to my home, looked at the rear ..and the pads were fine. They volunteered to look at the front, and found that my front rotors were bad (and the wrong size). My mechanic made a phone call, and a my new set of rotors were delivered, and were installed on the spot. If you are looking for a good, honest mechanic.....Key Mechanics is it!!!

Lashawn Smith turned a nightmare into a walk in the park. About two weeks ago I was changing the oil on my Fiancés 03 Honda Accord and the oil filter would not come off. So I took a screw driver and pierced it through the other side trying to get a better grip (Bonehead move). So I ended up ripping the entire base off of the filter leaving the other half still attached.I tried everything in the book to get it off for the last two weeks and nothing worked. So I called Key Mechanics and told them my situation. They sympathized with me and understood that I was in a stressful situation. So before the day was over Lashawn came by and worked wonders and took the piece off in 10 minutes! Lashawn is the best of the best with 20 years plus experience! Derrick was sent to repair the ac in my car. He worked diligently and patiently though we had some obstacles like a missing part from a new compressor. He noticed a bad valve cover gasket, replaced that too. Excellent worker, intelligent and polite. He saw the tire sensor broken. Told me where to get that fixed. Amazing work.

My car (Ford Crown Vic 2005) blow cold air, instead of heat in the middle of the cold season. I went to Google to search for the best mechanic with excellent reviews and I found one in Key Mechanics.Keon and Derreck work on my car within 24 hours of my initial call. After spending about an hour checking and fixing it up, my car heater works again. I got charged $60 for the service. It is very reasonable, fast and friendly service.Best of all, they come to a place where your car parked instead of your bring it to a dishonest mechanic shop and leave there for days so they can run up the charge. I would not hesitate to recommend these professionals to anyone I know. You are the best in Waldorf, MD. Thank you for your service.

I had an issue with the boat on the trailer I needed to ship from Copart to the warehouse. Our company is based in FL, I didnt have an opportunity to be present there to control anything or figure out issues myself. I made bunch of phone calls and one company advised me to call Keon Wilson from Key Mechanics Mobile Auto Repair.I was so glad to make the next phone call. Why? Because it was the only one company who told me they would look how they can help me with it. They not just promised to do so, they really did! I got a call in a day with some suggestions. I took it.Then we had one more problem, that Copart didnt allow to get the mechanic to their location, so he had to get an account there. I dont think that anybody would do that while they havent got any penny from us yet, to be frank.Keon helped us multiple times with this boat trailer, he even consult us after his job was done.I BET, there arent many responsible mechanics as he is. So if you still had any doubts about trust to this company, Take Them Away. THEY WORTH IT! The most precious is that they build their business on trust. I know some might say its biased but. I am the head technician at Key Mechanics. We all take great pride in our work at all times we r all very professional at all times and always put the customer first I have been working with them for a few months now and I must say we know our stuff. The 1 thing that we will not do is work on something if we know we cant we r completely honest. Being a mobile company we can only do so much there are not many things that we cant do but it has happened that we were not able to fix someones vehicle but the customer is told that as soon as we realize its more than we can handle and they appreciate honesty. Also you will not find any other mobile shop with the low prices that we have if you do find someone cheaper we try to at least match their price if not come in cheaper. And last but not least we are quick when it comes to working on vehicles bcuz time is money. Even though we r quick we r very detailed and make sure the job is done right the 1st time. I tell everyone when I work on a vehicle it is safe enough for me to drive with my daughter. So that should say somethng about how much pride we all take in our work at all times.
