Wish you had the ability to post negative stars. DO NOT--REPEA--DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY!! I went in to pick up prescriptions that SHOULD have been refilled automatically and told they were our of a medication used for nerve pain and the surrounding stores in WALDORF MD did not have any either. When I asked who was responsible for putting in the refill I was told it was the computer....THIS STORE PHARMACY IS PISS POOR ON A GOOD DAY.

The pharmacy is the absolute worst! I came in with 3 prescriptions at 10am. Was told they’d be ready before 130pm. Came back at 4pm and only one prescription was ready. They forgot to key in the other 2 and wanted me to wait for another 30 minutes. Never coming back to this place. It’s a disaster.

I went in to develop some pictures today and had the most outstanding customer service ! When she seen me struggling she offered help time and assistance! I wish I got her name but over conversation I learned she was from L.A. ! In the world we live in most people are stand off-ish and not the least helpful but today I was so impressed with her helpfulness and kindness and willingness to stick in there til I got it 😊 5 star service and thank so much ! The Savoys 😊😊

Waited in drive thru lane for an hour past Covid test appointment time. When I finally get to the window they tell me FedEx has already picked up for the day, then that rather than the 1-2 day turnaround for results that the website site says, that it is 3-5 business days. Was for travel, so totally useless!

My wife or I will call to check on our daughters prescription, just to wait on hold for ages. And then to be immediately hung up on when they do answer. Currently on hold for 1 hour and 29 minutes...

Please go to the one by high st is much more better and welcoming. the manager here is rude, the pharmacy is too. there’s over 50 reviews and everyone is basically rating this a one or 2 star so it makes perfect perfect sense. idk how they’re still running LOL. i definitely stopped coming because of the manager. i asked where an item was and her mood just rubbed off on me that i know she didn’t want to be there or to help me but that woman had a choice and it was her choice to be a manager at a walgreens?

The pharmacy closes at 9pm, I arrive at the pharmacy at 8:45 after just having been released from the hospital post surgery to get my pain medicine script filled. The pharmacist on duty told me she would NOT fill the prescription tonight because they were only open for 15 more minutes. So I say well yall close at 9 NOT 8:45 so it seems to me that you have 15 more minutes to do your job!! They did say the Clinton location was open until midnight and to try them. We asked if they could call and confirm they had it in stock since the Smallwood Village location did not and we didnt want to drive 25 minutes only to get there and they too not have it in stock.. She told me no, but they would give me the number so I could call. Its a narcotic and only physicians or pharmacists can obtain that information. 🤬I had pulled ALL my families prescriptions and business from Walgreens 2 years ago because they messed up a prescription that was desperately needed to be taken a strict number of days after the previous dose. THE ONLY reason I went there is because 1. My CVS was closed 2. The Walgreens Smallwood Village didnt have the medicine in stock but did tell us they called the one on Shasho Pl and they had it.I will NEVER not even when desperate spend another cent at any Walgreens EVER! I encourage you to do the same!!

Avoid this walgreens...all of them really...but mostly this one. To serve 4 cars in the drivethrough it took an HOUR. The prices are horrible, the wait time is horrible...just go to cvs

The worst! The individuals working in the pharmacy move very slow; this is poor customer service. They don’t take into consideration that people may have had a long day and want to get home or to their next destination. Do not come here to pick up your prescriptions.

I gave a one star review on my other account but they have really turned things around since then. For the past few months I have not had any problems getting my medicine filled. Its seamless, every few weeks I come and its there, like clockwork. This is way better and I would advise you give them a shot because those old reviews are no longer accurate

First positive experience here in a long time! The pharmacy was well staffed and employees were moving with a sense of urgency. Not ready to give overall 5 stars but todays visit definitely was a five-star experience. Im hopeful that things have permanently changed for the better.

I’m only writing this review after having my prescriptions filled incorrectly taking this medication over a week feeling abnormal made an appointment to see my doctor brought in my prescriptions I was taking and came to the realization they put the wrong medicine in the bottle which caused me to have side effects for an entire week I strongly suggest you verify what’s in the bottle when you have prescriptions filled there’s a lot of people who die in this country each year from incorrect prescriptionsWalgreens constantly get different generics I guess whatever the cheapest ones on the marketThey seem to have a high rate of employee turnover and a number of pharmacist and one pharmacist in particular refused to fill my prescription after I had a five hour surgery at Georgetown medical hospital I am in severe pain the pharmacist told me to come back the following day refuse to fill it I left and went to another pharmacy they filled it within 15 minutes

I explained I need my medicine before I leave town and she said well look like you need to find another pharmacy. You right I will find another pharmacy! Do not use this pharmacy they are rude with no customer service

Put in a refill online and went to pick it up 3 days later and they didn’t get the order. They told me to come back 30 minutes later and i went the next day and again it wasn’t ready!!!!! Told me again to pick it up in 30 minutes and now I’m waiting in a long line. They had several pharmacists, they need to do better! Their service has declined tremendously!

(*Note: these negative experiences are before the current pandemic, but still apply. The only improvement since the pandemic is the line speed*)Even before the pandemic, if I could avoid this location I would, and still do. I (unwillingly) transferred over from the Rite Aid on Crain Hwy that closed, where it was absolutely great there. No matter who was working, how long the lines were, or whatever, I NEVER had to wait long. Most times it was 10-15 minutes. And if it was a slow day, Id be out of there in 5 minutes. EVERYONE was pleasant, cared that you got your medication, and didnt want you sitting there for too long.The sad thing is (besides them closing down) the Rite Aid pharmacist that came to this Walgreens to train/help out, was only there for about 2-3 months before transferring somewhere better (lol). And in that time he was there, he was able to impose some of the good habits he and his old Rite Aid staff were accustomed to. But the Walgreens staffs bad habits were pretty hard to break. And since hes left, this Walgreens location has abandoned everything learned in that period of time.Now:1. Staff could not care less2. Their attitudes are uncalled for and dont try to help you reach a resolve3. Unnecessarily long lines4. Unnecessarily long wait times5. You can never reach someone on the phone6. My prescription is never ready on time and I usually have to wait til near the end of business hours even if I dropped it off first thing in the morning7. They tell you they have your medication in stock when you drop it off and when you come back at the time they said it would be ready, they dont have it anymore. Because they gave it to someone else that got there after you because your prescription was set aside and not put in the queue.***Make sure you make them check that your medication is in stock when youre still at the window and then verify two more times before you leave 😂. Then call in an hour and ask for the pharmacist to make sure everything is fine because theyll wait until you get there 5 hours later to tell you somethings wrong. And if you cannot get your medication for whatever reason, then you have to wait 3 more days until they get their shipment in.Now, in the spirit of being fair, there is one pharmacist and one other person (both of whom I believe just joined in the recent months) who are helpful and kind of act like they care. I guess Im just never there when they are anymore.Im all for second chances so I really, REALLY hope they start making some useful changes for the better. I think they need to just train and retrain and take complaints seriously for once. Its not that difficult. In the meantime, I will be happy to continue to fill my prescriptions somewhere else.* Edit *To give some insight, I have an appointment each month around the same time, and go to refill nerve pain medication that I need so I can go to work everyday. So getting my prescription filled on time is a necessity.

Every single time were still working on it I give them 24 hours before I even check to see if its ready. I dont even pick up my script on the same day. Thats right, I wait a full 24 hours, sometimes 30 hours or more, and they dont have it ready. I like the pharmacist she is very pretty and well-mannered. But telling me to come back in a few minutes then when I come back tell me to come back in an hour then when i come back telling me to come back in another hour is out of line considering I give them a full day to get that stuff done. All you have to do is put the meds in the bag dude.

I miss Rite Aid because the people in walgreens pharmacy most of them dont know what they are doing. Have had nothing but problems getting my meds filled since.they bought rite aid out because of the incompetency of the staff. They are the slowest I have ever seen in a pharmacy. I hear alot of people complain about the same things. Pitiful for a business to be run like this I have had my Rxs transferred to CVS. But I know nothing will be done to correct that problem and I will be advising the main office of this problem.

The wait-times at the counter and drive-thru are absolutely ridiculous. Its not uncommon to pull up either during lunch shifts or after 5pm and see cars around the corner of the building and a line at the counter 5-6 deep. And often they have only one associate who is alternating back and forth between the counter and drive-up AND trying to answer phones, so it takes forever. I typically drive over there as many as 6-8 times until I hit a sweet spot before Ill even attempt to drop off or pick anything up. They need to get it fixed because theres too much competition in the area for this nonsense.

Walgreens is the worst pharmacies and stores I have ever had to deal with. From North Carolina to Maryland. Not one cares about customer service. They brush you off to another person each time. They don’t ever want to use your insurance even if it’s on file. Every time I take a script there I Am always offered full price and again I let them know and I guess it’s too much effort to do your job. Even to call to check up on the progress on a prescription they don’t want to answer the phone and when waiting in line over an hour your told that’s it’s another hour till they close and sorry we are closing you will have to come back in the morning. I will not be returning to any Walgreens in the future. I miss rite-aid and probably will drive 30 minutes out my way to go back to the closet one.

I ordered my college graduation announcements online. When I picked them up they were NOT what I ordered. They did not have the type of paper I asked for and they cut some of my pictures off the page. Instead of saying something they allowed me to pick them up as is. When I bought the issue to their attention they simply said they did not have what I was looking for in store, when it is clearly available online for purchase. Why couldn’t this have been communicated before pick up? I am highly upset and will never utilize Walgreen services again.

It was an incredibly easy process to have my prescription filled here. I requested a specific brand and the pharmacist went out of his way to special order the product and have it to me before I even needed it. From the very first time I spoke with the pharmacy, I felt as if they were very attentive to my needs and respected my time. When the prescription was ready, they called me twice to remind me to pick it up and I really appreciated that as well. I would definitely recommend this group if you need a new pharmacy, or are just tired of the sub-par service of other pharmacies nearby. 10 out of 10!! They have my business!

I recently switched to a different pharmacy due to Walgreens being understaffed. Typical wait time at the drive through in 20 minutes or longer. Corperate needs to send assistance to this location. Also the new pharmacy manager tried to swith my medication to something he thought i needed? Unfortunately, hes not a doctor. This used to be a great pharmacy.

I was on vacation and was needing my rx filled . I called the Waldrof MD store to see if they had the medicine I needed in stock. A pharmacy tech named Kate or Katie was very rude when I told her what medicine I needing she cut me off and said she couldnt give me that information over the phone. Even though every other Walgreens I called around the area could tell me that they didnt have it in stock. Was very upset by the way I was treated. Im glad the Walgreens I normally go to NEVER treat their customers with such disdain. DO NOT go here if you are looking to be treated with dignity.

The worst pharmacy ever. Call no pick up and can never get them on them phone and Ive called twice and I was placed on hold and they never came back. Always an issue with my mom medicine and them putting in wrong insurance information. Call for automatic refill and system never turns it over and I dont find out until I waste my time picking it up for them to say we never got it. I hate this place. I hear so many complaints and its not getting better. Go to cvs

Pharmacy is garbage. Tried to transfer a refill to them. Was on hold for 10 min while they looked up info, only to have a different person pick back up and ask how can I help you? had to start over from scratch only to be told to call the original pharmacy. Incorrect, original pharmacy told me twice that new pharmacy must call for info. No help at all, switched to cvs.
