The staff is professional & knowledgeable on there trade. They always gave me options for what I requested & found me the the best price. I have been coming to Southern Tire for 20+ years for everything from Rototiller tires, tractor tires & truck tires. I have also used them throughout the years for various other repairs without any complaint I can recall.I go past (6) tire places to go to Southern Tire.It is rare to find service & selection as well a commitment to the customer.I hope to continue going to Southern Tire for another 20+ years.

This place is clean and employees are friendly, but the 5 star is for the time. They are fast and very professional... and believe it or not, they are honest. Thats saying a lot for mechanics. Well done!

I have used them once before and I was pleased with their service at first. Following that, I recently made an appointment on my day off to receive routine maintenance on my vehicle at very specific time due to my busy schedule and life. They were not prepared to hold my reservation or keep their word for my appointment time. After 45 minutes I asked approximately when my vehicle would be serviced and they said it would “be a few more minutes” and that the service would take over half an hour which didn’t work with my tightly scheduled day. The inconvenience that this poses to my next week is incredibly irritating and currently far overshadows my previous good experience that I have had on my only other time here. One of the biggest reasons for customer dissatisfaction is unrealized expectations. My expectations of them keeping my appointment was definitely not realized in this instance. Very frustrating. If you’re calling to make an appointment and you value your own time, insist that they have your appointment time ready and avoid this headache I currently have.

Staff is nice but currently trying to figure out what can be done if having to pay more than told as car went in on Tuesday for one thing and still not starting and now told something else wrong which total have went from 352 to over 800.00. Feel as far has been there over time expected and discount or something should be provided with extended time and lack of diagnosis of why wouldn’t start Vs engine light.

Do not go here!!!! They are dishonest and unprofessional. I came here to change my oil for my new car and they broke the oil pan, and refused to take responsibility for it. I had to get my car towed from their premises and purchase a new oil pan out of pocket. They displayed very poor customer service, have dishonest business practices and I would not advise anyone to go here.

Did great work on my husbands 2013 Altima. I attempted to take my Jeep to them but their equipment wasnt able to read the computers in my Jeep, they referred me to the Jeep dealership. I would visit again.

Great spot to new tires and tire service! Great prices and friendly staff! Customer Service is excellent. Stopped by about 20 minutes before closing to fix my tire and they told me to come right in! I was put of there within that 20 minutes and I got an early Christmas present! No charge! This tire had been driving me crazy for weeks! I was so thankful that I left my cellphone there! Went back the next morning before opening and one of the nice workers brought it right out to me! They have a customer for life! 😁

After having such a positive experience on our first visit, we took both cars in to replace all tires and to do some work recommended by a dealer. They recommended an alternative which made even more sense and did all the work while we waited. Both cars are riding much more smoothly! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Good tires

I like this place more every time. They are unusually honest. I have a very old car. They seem to always be able to find parts. I have used the location in Lexington Park and now the one in Waldorf. They are wonderful at both locations. They have taken care of several of my vehicles. I know that with their great care my car will probably reach 300,000 miles.

Had maryland inspection done put down things that wasnt really wrong with the car like the rack and pinion

Over priced with bad Service. Women be aware, they will try to take advantage if they feel you have zero knowledge of Auto mechanics.. Only thing good about this place is the complimentary coffee.

Bad service. They tried to trick me to pay and fix for things i have already fixed a month ago. If i wasnt a mechanic myself i would have fallen for it. Dont go here!! Also lady who works here is angry for some reason, bad manners for customer service. In other places, when aligning the car they show you the problem in person but here they only tell you the problems without showing you physically.

This tire shop has excellent service. I was only there for a flat repair but they got me in and out in under 30 mins. They are very professional and knowledgeable. It was my first time going to them and now they have a new customer for the next 4 years.

I stumbled on this tire shop. I was riding with my daughter who needed tires. We were heading to BJs when I saw Southern Tires. I purchased tires and the price was great. Lifetime tire rotation for the life of the tires also a great deal for the purchase. Try them, I did.

Southern Tire and Auto Centers has amazing customer service and reasonable prices. I highly recommend them.

I took my car in for a vibration up front and was told that I needed 2 inner tie rods replaced because it wouldnt hold an alignment without this work being done. I was also told that I needed new rotors because 1 had rust on it. It had rust because the car sits most of the week. I thought you measured rotors to determine this. Long story short I took to another shop to confirm and was told my front end was tight, no worn parts or bushings and all I needed was an alignment. Never again even though I just bought tires from them a few months ago. Trust in your mechanic is a must for me and I have 0 trust for this establishment.

Good place for auto service and buying tires

While changing my shocks out, I realized my spring compressors werent large enough. This shop agreed to change out my springs onto the new struts for a reasonable charge. Thanks for the help :)

Had an issue with two tires on my Cadillac CTS. One had a low pressure reading and the other had a really high reading. Turns out the high one had a screw and the low one just needed air. Patched the tire and I was out in approx 30 mins or less (walk-in). Professional and fast.

I took my car in for an alignment and was told something was bent and they couldn’t complete it. I asked what was bent because I just had some work done there and was given an unclear answer that was completely false and was charged 36 dollars for the nothing they did for me. I took it to another shop down the street they clearly told me my strut was bent. I got a new one put on and then the alignment done. Southern tire wasted a whole day of mine.

Seriously.My friend needed new tires and after calling around and searching online, he found Southern Tire and Auto Center. The lady he spoke with on the phone before he arrived was sooo helpful and uber friendly. The desired tires were in stock so we headed their way.Once we arrived we were greeted and helped immediately. We asked if we could see the tire (Sumitomo High Performance, HRT All-Season) and we were told we definitely could. Once we made our way to the warehouse and inspected the tires we decided to go ahead with the purchase, as we were pleased that they would suffice. My friend has rims on his car, so he said the low profile was great.With the government discount (15%), a full set was $428.05....not bad at all! Definitely worth the money, plus they are great, high quality tires. You wont be disappointed at this venue.Thanks for the awesome customer service and quality products!!! Duly noted for any of my future needs!!

Commercial Customer, long term why does it take 2 hours waiting to rotate tires on a PU, when you advertise free tire rotation under stand busy, but customer like myself our you bread and butter, just because your busy you cant make room to service a long term customer on a 30min tire rotation?WHAT HAPPEN TO CUSTOMER SERVICE, oh tire rotation is a freebee,,,,,,,,

Service was so slow. I have never seen anything like it. The guys at the front desk were swamped while the techs were all just standing around with nothing to do.They need more help at the front desk because just the two guys that were there was just to much for the amount of business that they turn.
