The service at Midas off Leonardtown Rd was excellent and the technicians were friendly and professional.

Im somewhat new to the area and was looking for someone reasonably and reputable to service my car. Im so happy that I found Midas. The folks here are friendly, professional and prompt - no sitting around all day to get service. I really like the manager and the techs. Ill be a customer here for years to come.

Grandmother took her vehicle there to get AC fixed a month ago. They charged her $189 and said it needed to be re charged. I see her almost a month later after thinking she got it fixed and it’s still blowing hot air so she took it back there. She was told the AC was working fine and it was just too hot outside and the AC couldn’t keep up with the temperature and got her vehicle back......knew that was bogus so she called back again after picking it up for second time and was met with an attitude saying they don’t know what to tell her because it’s working fine. Finally I had to drive her vehicle to another location because it was still blowing hot air and it was over 90°. They found that the compressor was cutting off due to over pressure within an hour of me dropping vehicle off. They said they could not believe the previous place did not see that problem. Well they fixed it correctly the same day and now my grandmother can drive her vehicle (even on a hot day...) with cold AC.. I do not recommend

Terribleeeeee shop got pulled over today for my brake light being out but I had already went to this shop last week to have it replaced. Called the shop and apparently the guy forgot to put the bulb in. Worst shop ever wouldnt recommend to a squirrel let alone a human being!!

We received a estimate on what it would cost to repair the issue. When we called back to inquire further Mr. a Thomas became rude saying you know what I’m not touching your car. Just come get it and hung up! Rude and unprofessional. I will it take my vehicle there again!

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! I went on Friday to get a state inspection so I could register my car in Maryland. I believed his name was Barry, passed my car inspection and said I was good to go. I was in a rush because I had to go to a medical appointment. However I noticed that my steering wheel wasn’t straight when I got in my car but didn’t think nothing of it. Well as the weekend went on I noticed a screeching noise every time I made a left turn and yet again my steering wheel would not turn straight while driving straight or parking. I called Midas on Sunday to report the issue and the older guy at the front told me to bring my car in. So I came on Monday once I got off of work (drove an hour) and they looked at my car and claimed there was nothing they did to damage my car. They said I need an alignment and I must have hit something over the weekend. I assured them this was NOT the case and I never hit anything. I asked Barry why he passed my car for the state certified inspection if I needed an alignment. He says my car was Good Friday when I brought it in but must have been damaged after it left Midas. At this point I was furious because I knew they were trying to scam me and get more money out of me for an alignment that I did not need until leaving there shop. Btw I know I didn’t need an alignment before I went to Midas because my car was just checked out at Firestone about 2 weeks prior. So I immediately left Midas and called Firestone to make an appointment for an alignment. After getting it done at Firestone they told me I should only need an alignment every 6,000 miles and it was impossible for me to have needed one from Friday to Monday. I will be contacted the BBB-Better Business Bureau- And corporate to report this scam. I am a young female and they thought they could take advantage of me, try again, y’all messed with the wrong one.

I cant say that I believe that their services are truly genuine... What good is lifetime pads if their designed to beat up your Rotors, that instead of replacing the pads or worst case having to turn the Rotors, you have to replace the Rotors after one year of operation??Rip off...

7/24/2020 .. just had my 2002 Mercedes Benz s55 state inspection completed here.. made an appointment for 9am they took my car right in. 30 minutes later finished . Had to remove the dark tint off the windows in order to pass, so I got that removed came back an hour later got my paper work and all done ! Was happy with the $84.00 plus tax cost !!Totally recommend this place if you need md state inspection done

Had my car towed to Midas after another shop couldnt figure what was wrong. Thomas at Midas not only quickly determined the problem, he called me with an estimate and repaired the car all in the matter of a few hours. Thomas is best mechanic Ive ever had and Ive been going to mechanics since the 1970s.

We have taken our cars (2 Subarus and 2 Fords) here for years. Always upfront and honest. Mufflers, brakes and wheel bearings . I had dropped my car at the dealer for a worn out CV joint...they wanted 2x the price of what Midas stated they could perform the work for...(over the phone, while it was still on the lift at the dealer). I had to pay for the diagnostic at the dealer, but still came out cheaper. It feels like all mechanics are going to give you the business when it comes to repairs...these guys always do it a little gentler😄

The service and cost of my repairs was great. The technician Mr. Harold Makle was very polite and explained my needed repair before starting the job.

I bought my truck for replacement of brakes Dec 2018. The cost was $1125.70 to include rotors. I was okay given the wear and tear. But I had to bring it back a week later due to a chimney type sound. I had to bring it back again for a chime and rattling sound. No one could hear it. The older mechanic said he didnt hear and tried to convince me it was normal. I pushed the issue and the hub bearing was broken. One they replaced in December. So three times and now my truck sounds like the bottom is going to fall out. This is not my first brake job and I am acutely in tune with my truck and when something is wrong. I fear a great deal of damage has happened with my 2005 Yukon. I will never bring my truck here again. I gave one star since they were polite. Nice doesnt equal effective.

Over priced and do not stick to there quotes, even though you only getting fixed what you specifically told them over the phone, they over charge you by $200 bucks, even though there only fixing precisely what was discussed, robbery, untrustworthy

My husband and I brought our car here for a standard state inspection, and not only was Midas unable to complete the inspection due to incompetence, they caused $500 worth of damages to our car in the process. They were unable to remove a simple brake drum, something that a different mechanic was able to do quickly and without issue. We would not recommend this business to anyone.

Absolutely amazing customer service! Ive gotten my car inspected at another place and they were so abrupt and rude. They didnt properly inspect and failed me on things that werent wrong so when I got my new car I wanted to find a different shop to get inspected at. I was hesitant but from the moment I walked into Midas, I was greeted and treated perfectly! The mechanics have wonderful dispositions and attitudes. I failed because of my window tint and lug nuts but it was calmly and politely explained to me why, the mechanic even gave ways for me to fix it myself. I didnt feel taken advantage of or like they were trying to squeeze money out of me.They are just absolutely amazing, love the customer service, I will DEFINITELY be a return costumer.

Most of theses reviews with 5 stars are from friends, family, or employees there. Worst customer service. The mechanic forgot to call me with price estimate and when I called he said he forgot and was going to call me back and then never did. When I was there he told me I needed a caliper because it was sticking, but when I brought my car to an actual real mechanic all I needed to do was to change the back tires. I won’t bring my car here again even if it break down in front of the store.

I went there and asked the tech could he show me how to get my brake light out(made weird)...I know how to change it and he said sorry we cant do that. I live right down the street wont go to them.

They had a special for their oil change they charged me for the synthetic oil, didnt top off the fluids and my suv ran rough for a couple of weeks after they rotated my tires.
