Received great service, check in was very easy, my vehicle was taken back to be worked on shortly after. The tech new exactly what to do,and completed it in great time. Everything went as smooth as could be. Id recommend this place to anyone having a glass replaced.

Technician was great. Went out of his way to install my new windshield by helping remove my jeeps light bar and not making me have to go remove it and come back.

I had a new windshield put in my truck little over a month ago, and of course I already have two chips in it due to road conditions. I called them after seeing so many commercials about No Cost To You because of your Insurance. A chip repair has now gone up to about $135 for the first repair, and basically $30 added per chip above the first. So my Ins deductible is $100. REALLY! $100 for a windshield or $100 for a chip repair. Whatever happened to the low cost chip repair, $25 or $30. Just seems ridiculous to pay the same amount for something I could get the stuff off of AMAZON or eBay. Safelite...time to return to reasonable prices to reduce waste!!!

I had to wait a week for an appointment. On the morning of the appointment, safelite called and canceled on me. I had to make arrangements for this appointment to happen. They told me it would be another week before they could get to me. I ended up going to Gragan and Sons in La Plata. They managed to fit me in for a same day appointment. Safelite needs to have better contingency plans for when an installer calls out. Most folks can’t wait that long for a repair especially if the car is not safe to drive. .

I believe all businesses should recognize customer service as a critical factor in marketing success. Customers should be given service at a high priority. Safelite have not done that. I was given 4 different appointment schedule and they did not show up, bearing the fact that I had to take off from work all four times, no consideration whatsoever. The last excuse I got from them, was that the windshield was cracked during shipping. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!

The experience greater than a magic show. Although the chip and I only had a short time together as it should be, I am convinced it is gone forever. The host and the magician were extremely professional. The each took covid safety cleaning steps mask protective and the apple cinnamon tea was a bomb to drink while I waited 😋. I am festive because the entire drive home at every traffic light I saw no evidence of ever having a rock chip my windshield. I highly recommend satellite AutoGlass.Thank you

Im attempting to ask questions about a potential install that Im paying for and there is no actual person to talk with. I called the local offices and received a recording and was told to go online. Even Amazon has a live person when you need it. Get it together Safelite. And dont blame it on COVID!

Called to get a price quote and both locations automated system stated no one could help me “good bye”. What happened to customer service when someone answers the phone, do you not have admin personnel or a receptionist. Small things make a big difference in customer service.(I wanted to thank the owner for responding to my review, I attempted to use the website. It did not have the specific window I was looking for listed. I went to the capitol heights location and the young lady at the window offered to look up what I needed by the VIN number which wasn’t an option online because she had a hard time finding the window as well. She was able to assist me and find the window I needed without the VIN)

Daryl, the Safelite Tech, was very knowledgeable and professional in every way. He arrive on time, promptly went to work, and completed the job in a reasonable amount of time. He answered all of my questions completely and respectfully. If I ever have a car window issue again, I would call Safelite and ask for Daryl to be the technician assigned.

I did not use them because they never found the part or got back to me to explain that the part was not available . All I needed was a rear window regulator that I myself found online. The call service is beyond trash and they didnt seem to care that my rear window was stuck even after I explained that we were experiencing rain and I needed my window fixed. Safelight aint worth the spit in your mouth and I wouldnt recommend them for air in a tire nevertheless window replacement.

If youre windshield is going to be replaced make sure you have a ride. Its a all day Job if you have the safety system in front of car

My car was done in no time. The only issue was my receipt said that my car was vacuumed and the outside windows were cleaned when neither of those things happened. I picked my car up at 4:36 and they closed at 5:00 so I was not able to go in and get that figured out. I assume they closed as soon as I got my keys.

Making an appointment online was easy. Once at the establishment at my appointment time, customer service was not up to par. Waited in the lobby for about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence. Eventually I cancelled my appointment and went with another company who were more professional and offered better rates.

My experience from start to finish was the best, easiest thing I had to do. I contacted them on a Thursday and my new windshield was installed on Friday morning at my home. Every Safelite associate I had the pleasure to have contact with was able to answer all my questions. The actual tech who showed up called before arriving. The tech was very professional by introducing himself, showing id. and being in a uniform. He was able to answer all my questions. The job was completed in a very timely manner. He was very neat and clean with his work area and even vacuumed my car and cleaned the outside of all my windows. He was a 5 star employee in my grade book. I am so happy I went with Safelite to get my windshield replaced. I initially scheduled for someone to come to my home and fill a crack. When he got there he looked at the windshield and told me that it could not be filled and had to be replaced. He then got me scheduled for the very next day for someone to come out and replace it. I had a growing crack in my windshield; my insurance recommended Safelite and sent a message to expect technician Cameron in a 4-hour window. Thats right -- the come TO YOUR HOUSE and replace the window right in the driveway! This was (pleasantly) followed by a message letting me know Id receive a text with the specific arrival time! THAT was fantastic. An added bonus? That I would get an Uber-type map that would let me see the driver as he was enroute! (My 3-yr-old LOVED watching the black van drive along the route! He repaired my window, gave tips and answered questions, and was just a kind professional who did a great job. As fate and misfortune would have it, the very next week as I drove at high speed down the highway, a huge rock hit my windshield, so hard in fact that it caused a huge bulls eye type crack with rings of circles and long cracks stretching from it that extended across the windshield in all directions. The force was so powerful that some glass shattered, spraying hundreds of pieces of tiny glass across my dashboard, lap, and front seats. Cameron returned the next day, surprised to see my in need of another windshield so soon, but still professional, courteous, and personable, and he did an excellent job again.He answered all of my questions, and patiently answered questions from my curious 6-year-old. He was just knowledgeable and professional without being overbearing or condescending. Id highly recommend him.

I was also texted with a photo of the windshield technician along with his estimated time of arrival to my home. I am a senior citizen, so the photo & text message was very important to me and I felt very safe knowing whom I was expecting. The service provided by the technician was Outstanding which separates Safelite from the rest! All my windows were cleaned on both sides and my car was vacuumed too! My rear car window blew out on 5/20/2017. I immediately called in a claim to you and was connected with the preferred glass company Safelite to have my window replaced. Safelite scheduled an appointment with me and never showed up, then called to tell me after I waited all day that the glass wasnt there. I told them to call me when it was. No call. I called back and was told the glass should be there the next day. A week later- no call again (thats two). I called and they said a manager would call me. No call (THIRD TIME). I finally called again and they put a manager on the line from the Waldorf,MD location. He said he did not know where the glass was but would definitely look into it. It had now been 2 1/2 weeks waiting on my back window. I received a call the next day from Jerome in the Waldorf shop and he was curt, rude, and did not convey any empathy or understanding of my situation. After 2.5 weeks of waiting on my glass, I expected as least some kindness. After being rude he attempted to schedule me next week after he said they found the glass in an unmarked box in their Virginia location. I explained I wasnt going to continue to wait, I had already been more than patient, and his reply with I didnt even have to tell you the glass was here was rude, inappropriate and very non-customer oriented. I believe he needs a lesson in service if he is going to be the one who represents this company.Mike the installer who called me this morning to let me know he would come today was supportive and friendly (earning the extra star for this review) from Safelite, but having a customer wait for 2.5 weeks for a glass to come in that was already there and then being treated poorly does not reflect well on Safelite.

Technician came out 2 weeks ago. It took this long to write the review because I was giving the company time to fix the situation.The technician arrived on time and was a very nice guy. The problem came when I went outside to check on his progress. To my utter disbelief, the tech spill a black substance on my driveway.BRAND NEW HOME. MY first home. No prior ownersThe technician advised me the I could get it pressured washed to get it out. I told him Im not paying for a pressure washer, he needs to do it and I have an HOA, there are standards for the upkeep of our homes and he tarnished my driveway. There is a difference between normal wear and tear and a dried STAIN. He tried to get it out but there was a black cast left behind.It took Safelite a week to get a 3rd party to pressure wash the stain. No rain in the mean time. The guy finally came and no luck.Now Im stuck looking at a stain that was not my fault. Call me crazy if you want but this is my home. First home and a stain has been left.The company stained my driveway and I have to see that stain everyday. I will say the manager tried to fix the situation but the stain will always be there.

They did a nice job in replacing my windshield. It took a little longer than I thought bcuz I have a SUV. Overall I was very satisfied. Hope I dont have to do it again but its so much traffic with trucks here in Waldorf & a great deal of construction. New homes & businesses popping up everywhere.

I waited 2 hours to be told the wrong part was ordered and the window couldn’t be fixed, crash wrap was put back on my window and I was send home without a follow up apt or a answer to my question as to when the new part can be ordered. The crash wrap came off 1/2 a mile down the street. Very Disappointed with the “service”

1-The wait time is to long to resolve a small matter related to the repairs.2-They communication between the shop and the insurance company is horrible, it will give you a lot of Frustration .3-when you call the company youll take forever to talk with someone live.4-and they will have difficulties to find your name on the system since they search NATION WIDE instead of local search for your particular case.I am super Unhappy 😡😡😡😡😡

I was not impressed with their service! I had an appointment time and showed up on time, but they looked at me like I wasnt supposed to be there and then they assisted someone who had an appointment AFTER my time. I scoffed.The technician filled in the chip on my windshield and it looked like a huge bird dropping. They didnt even peel off the excess tape that was stuck on my windshield, and they didnt wipe the windshield as the advertisements say. Just messy! I decided to have the car dealership install a new window.

So its been over 3 weeks since I had my window busted and called them to have them replace it. The technician showed up in the morning as scheduled. After taking off my door panel he stated he brought the wrong glass. In my opinion he just didnt know how to replace the window and made it up so he could get out of the job. The next day I got a phone call stating that they ordered the wrong window so I had to wait another day. Finally on the 3rd day a technician shows up at the wrong time but I was just wanting my window replaced so I rescheduled some things so he could replace my window. He didnt know what he was doing. He was on his phone calling his buddy asking him how to get the window to fit. After 1hr he told me he broke the regulator and that they would order it but I would have to bring my car into their shop. He taped the replacement window in place so it would stay up. I was told they would rush order it but it would take 3-5 business days. A week later I called them since I havent heard anything and asked if the part came in. I was told by one person that is still being shipped. I then asked to speak to a manager and thats when I was told the regulator wasnt ordered due to them needing my VIN number. They apologized but offered no explanation on why they didnt call me to ask for it. The manager stated he ordered it right then and there but once again it would take 3-5 business days to arrive. 7 days later I call and I was told they were pretty sure the part came in but they were having an issue deciding if they were at fault and if they were going to fix it. He also stated that I was driving around with a brand new window and I havent paid for it yet. After telling him what I thought about his nonsense he told me a seasoned repair adjuster from the Virginia office would come to my house with the part to fix it. Thursday he didnt show up but promised he would on Friday. Then I got an email stating the part only came in late Thursday night and he might not be able to make it on friday. Of course he didnt show up on friday but I was told he would come monday. Well today is Tuesday and my window is still not fixed.Safelite is a joke. The technicians receive minimal training and are supposed to figure it out while they are on the job. They take no ownership once they mess up and will lie to you multiple times. This place does not deserve to be in business. Im going to take my car to the dealership and have them repair my window. Thanks for wasting over 3 weeks of my time and having me drive around with a window being held up by tape. So embarrassing.

I had my windshield fixed at safelite, I made my appointment for 8:00am to be the first appointment of the day.I had many things to get to that day, as I sat there I watched other come in and leave. It was not till 11:00 that they even notified me that my car was being worked on. The only reason they told me that was because they had broken the mechanism that works my windshield wipers and that they were trying to fix it. After all that they finally returned my car to me with a new windshield at 12:30 so I could finally get to work.
