I highly recommend Floor Coverings International Wake Forest and here is why: They listen - I didnt want the traditional transition pieces for the doorways that most companies use. There was no problem finding a solution. Mike the owner did the initial assessment, was prompt and very professional. Many companies require the entire cost upfront which means you have no recourse should something go wrong. Floor Coverings International only require a deposit of half the cost. Once the floor is completed and approved, the remainder is paid. And finally, Alex did a truly professional job laying the vinyl tiles. He was meticulous to every detail. My floor looks great!

I would recommend Floor Coverings International to anyone looking for someone reliable and accommodating to take on their project. We had already installed bamboo in our bedroom and wanted the old carpet ripped up in most of the house. Not having the time to do it ourselves, we looked for a company that would provide experience and would respect our vision as many contractors didnt want to work with bamboo (or they didnt know anything about it). Ron was very personable and helpful in getting the project started, and Alex installed our floors and was incredibly professional, hard-working, and detail-oriented. Thank you so much!

This is the most professional company I have ever hired to work in my home. I had hardwoods installed upstairs along with carpeting in my bonus room and stairway. Poor service. Multiple calls to schedule an appointment and excuses galore from wife as to why they weren’t able to come. Finally came last Thursday and stated he would find out from his rep if he would have the flooring available. It’s now Wednesday and I had to call him. He let me know he was on his way to Florida and, “they had a week from heck” from what his wife said (I was on speaker). I said, I don’t care about what your week was like, I need to know if the floorings available. I said if I have to call you to follow up what will the process be and end result will look like? His business is so disorganized. I stated I could find another flooring company. His wife spoke up and said “find one”. Here’s an idea, when grown men are talking about business, keep your wife quiet. By the way, Mike called me “Justin” more times than I can count. I corrected him multiple times and yet he still called me “Justin”. Mike, read this comment, it has my name on it.

Fred and Mike were great to work with. Great communication from start to finish. The guys doing the install were very professional and showed up on time, which is always a plus. If youre looking at a floor install, do yourself a favor and contact these guys.

8 March 2021Mike & Ron are very knowledgeable and thorough on what’s involved with replacing carpet for LVP and helped guide us to a much better color selection for our interior instead of a costly big box store mistake. We’re already customers for life & we aren’t even ready to start our project!

Just almost got run off the road, rear ended, and side swiped by One if your vehicles driving down route 1. LGT 8484 License plate. He was changing lanes With no room and barely missed hitting us and then kept driving in the middle of both lanes and breaking checking us after we were behind him. Tried to call the number on the car but it’s not in service. If this is how your workers drive on the road and don’t care about the public safety. Beware of their drivers and their work ethic as this is a poor reflection.

I had an amazing experience with Floor Coverings International of Wake Forest. Mike has very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. During our initial meeting, he made me feel totally at ease, not stressed. At no time did it feel like a high-pressure situation. When I started the process of looking for a company to upgrade the floor of my new house my knowladge about carpets was 2 from a scale of 1 to 10. It took me few weeks and visits from 5 companies to decide what company to choose. I was looking for a good quality carpet for a good price. Most of the company’s have products that combine both things, quality and price but what made the difference for me in choosing Floor Covering International Wake Forest was the way and time they took for explaining me every question I had and their guarantee of how good the work for the installation and the quality of the carpet was going to be. It’s a shame that you cannot see flooring without an appointment. I didn’t need them to come to my house but even to see the samples in the store you have to make an appointment.
