Amazing customer service. I am a woman who bought a chainsaw and they went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. They showed me how to use it and store it without being condescending. Harrison and Wyatt did a great job. An added bonus is they have a post office in the back so you can skip the main branch.

Very lovely store, friendly staff, good prices. My daughter told me about this store, and she was right; it was very clean and well organized, and not too crowded like the bigger stores you can get lost in. I found everything I needed, and will shop here again.

The staff here are amazingly knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful. They readily offer you advice if needed and dont just push you to buy the most expensive thing. They also have a post office, blade sharpening for lawn mowers, and overall helpful folks. Skip the chain stores and shop local! :)

Love these guys and gals. Especially the people who work the Post Office in the back! They make the Christmas crush very bearable. In the front, the people are very knowledgeable and helpful. Love the variety of sodas. We dont drink soda, but get one there for everyone as a treat since there is probably a home project underway.

Went to checkout Stihl chainsaws a few months back, ended up buying one. These guys were super helpful and showed me how to use all the new fancy features they have put into the units over the years. (Its been 5 years since I have used one and it was 10 years old at that time) Would highly recommend going here for anything you could need from a local hardware store.

I wanted to match my kitchen paint- that I painted 14 years ago! I scraped a few pieces off the wall and brought to Town & Country. Thomas Calcutt immediately offered to help. He took my tiny pieces and matched the color perfectly. I was going to buy 4 gallons. After hearing my description of the rooms I wanted to paint, he assured me I only needed 3 gallons at the most. He was right!

I found T&C when searching for Big Green Egg authorized dealers. Let me just say, the entire experience with them was phenomenal. Id done a bit of research, but had a few questions when I went to actually look at them. No waiting 20 minutes or desperately searching up and down cavernous aisles for help--Sean Patrick explained everything, answered all my questions, and was incredibly patient given it was within an hour of closing on a Sunday. There was a package deal on the size I purchased and (even better), free delivery. I was surprised theyd deliver Christmas Eve day, and they were incredibly accommodating when I discussed timing constraints. It was delivered today, and delivery timing was excellently communicated. Its actually the same crew from the store (not big box outsource delivery team) that delivered, set up, and explained how to season and care for it. They actually use one at the store for cook-outs, so they know what theyre talking about. And they went the extra mile: my parents wanted to get gift certificates in line with the Egg, but dont have a T&C nearby. I was unable to get to the store in time, so while confirming the delivery time today I went out on a limb and asked if I could also get gift certificates over the phone and dropped off with the Egg. HUGE ask, I felt terrible. But they worked it out! Life savers!Overall, an EXCELLENT experience, and Im incredibly grateful for their help. I highly recommend Town & Country for the quality of their products but more importantly the experience, care, and commitment of their staff to go above and beyond for their customers.

A thousand times better than the main post office on Holding. Haley was very helpful and friendly. No wait, extended hours, and all the boxes and tape were available. Can be confusing from the outside but the post office is located inside the hardware store.

Bald man with glasses in the Post office section is consistently rude. I gave him many- at least 5 opportunities to at least speak when I the customer say hi how are you? Or I like the music you guys play here ...crickets..nothing -no response. Nice customer service. Crack a smile. He needs to not be working directly w/ customers and the general public bc he is the rudest, most unpleasant person to interface with, and always has a nasty looking scowl on his face. Forget about customer service how about acknowledging another human being is speaking to you. But all the other young ladies who work there are the sweetest. Darby especially she is the complete opppsite of this person. Avoid him if you have a need to use the post office there. He is The WORST.

Pretty much the worst customer service and basic math skills Ive ever seen in my life! I went in with my mom to get sodas and we saw a sign on the shelf that stated they were on sale for 20% off the regular price of $1.99 when you bought 6 or more. We picked some from the shelf and some from the cooler and went to pay. The girl who rang us up told my mom the total for the sodas plus one $.55 caramel would be $12.11. Since the sodas on sale would make the total less than that, I asked the girl about the sale and she said that only the un-chilled bottles on the shelf were on sale (wrong) and then told my mom we should try the dog drool flavor soda next time. We walked out into the parking lot and I mentioned to my mom that the girl was wrong about the price and so we went in and talked to another woman at the soda cooler. She was condescending and rude, and first told us that the sodas were only on sale 10% off (wrong) and then that the price we had paid was actually 20% off (wrong again!). We walked away from her, I checked the price on my calculator to be sure, and we went back over to talk to the woman, who directed us to the man ringing at the register. She gave a condescending fake-sounding apology, and he told my mom he Gave her $1.20 but hadnt yet handed us any refund. Since he was just staring as if waiting for a response, I showed him on my calculator what the correct price should have been, and he patronizingly repeated his earlier comment and asked if that Worked with my math. Clearly all three employees were annoyed at being asked to simply do their job correctly and politely! The man gave my mom the refund ($1.29 after tax) and the girl told us that we shouldnt try the dog drool soda after all. Then when we looked confused the man said she had already tried one earlier and it was disgusting. Meaning the girl had made her comment telling us to buy the soda because she was irritated that we questioned the sale (or she just has a really poor sense of humor?). Either way it was very strange as was the behavior of the other woman employee and the man. My parents have spent quite a lot at this store but none of us will be returning and Ill make sure to warn anyone else I speak to.

Husband and I visited Town and Country for the first time yesterday because we were looking for The Egg. It was a very positive experience. All the employees we interacted with were friendly and professional. Wyatt is the the Egg Specialist and was very helpful, warm and friendly. Customers were coming in and out, and everyone seemed to know eachother. Such a different feel from the local Big Boxes! This place is definitely your friendly neighborhood hardware store, and even though we live in Youngsville, this will be our go to hardware store from now on!

Really inexperienced when it comes to finding Stihl replacement parts. After the third trip (Andy is the only one who knows anything about the product), they found the correct chain and offered to install it. I said sure, drove home and started cutting trees only to have the chain cover and both nuts fall off. I guess Ben (the employee who said We are a Stihl dealer did not pay attention to his training program to know that you need to tighten the nuts. In my mind going to a local hardware store should have premium service to go along with their products and this store is far from that. The best thing about Town and Country Hardware is there is a Post Office in the back. I would not recommend them for anything else.
