Small and quaint brewery. We had their Tangled Oaks brew and it was very tasty. Cant wait for when were back in the area to enjoy another of their brews.

Really cool brewery in downtown Wake Forest. The White Street Kolsch is one of my favorite beers of all time and I have gotten it at bars all my life. Maybe I need to get out more but I didn’t realize the brewery was in Wake Forest and so close to where I live so it was great to go to “the source” of one of my favorite beers!!

Great space for a brewery in Wake Forest with a good selection of their craft draft beers. Had the Pacific Eruption IPA which is a west coast style. Hopefully you can get a taste before its gone. Also, try the hot dog place right next door to the brewery. Inside seating is set up for social distancing.

Just made a pit stop from out of state. The wife had a flight of beer and I went with the Hefeweizen (my go too beer). Delicious beer, great atmosphere, and friendly staff.I would hang out here if I was a local!

Amazing beer in a laid back atmosphere. Their Merideum is a Trippel that I would put up next to St. Bernardus or Chimay any day of the week.

Relatively quiet evening, good to enjoy some Oatmeal Stout and the football game.

Our Dearest Friends did get married today. They picked this brewery as the final third destination and ending point for their day with friends and family to meet and conclude. I was treated by their staff at the brass rail very well. Thank you to the gentlelady and gentlemen the evening of 5-22-21 for being excellent stewards to your great brewery. I recommend this terrific establishment.

Great atmosphere and awesome selection of beers that is constantly being updated, but my favorite - the Kölsch - is always available! The staff are friendly and helpful. There is typically a food truck outside and you can get food from the local restaurants. The owners are great people who know the craft of creating great beers! 🍻

Excellent place to visit! Bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable helped us make a couple great selections. Would definitely recommend this place and we will be happy to visit again

Mediocre beers, kind of sterile atmosphere, and descriptions to go with the beer would have been nice. Prices were decent. The building itself is really cool, and the downtown is safe, well-lit and trendy.

First time to visit the brewery was last Friday and it was an AMAZING place. Totally love how it is laid out, TV & football game on one side and quieter + darts seating space on the other side of the venue. Super friendly and courteous, helpful staff. The manager was also amazing and went way out of her way to make it a great night for us (family was in town). Thank you to everyone and we will be back! PS-Beer was AWESOME too and we ordered a pizza from the Italian place next door, it was great!!

The quality of beer as a function of staff friendliness is not on par. This is not a kid friendly place even while eating dinner. Prices are fair but taste isn’t worth it. Go to lone rider or wine 101

This was the first brewery I visited in North Carolina; you could say it was the place that started it all. There is no designated parking, but finding a space close really wasnt a problem at all. I enjoyed the space and ambiance. Cool low key vibe in an up and coming downtown area. There was no food, but outside food is allowed. Nice variety of styles available, and everything I had was good. If you are in the Wake Forest area this place is a must stop.

Nice place in a nice town. Shuffle board and darts! No food. Dont serve anything other than the beer they make there, which is unfortunate for those who cant drink beer. Id go again if they served cider or Im the DD, but neither of those are going to happen. But I can say Ive been there once.

White Street Brewing is a great addition to downtown Wake Forest, a real community gathering spot and hey, they brew and serve great beer on site! The brewery and taproom/bar are housed in a renovated 1930s car dealership showroom. The interior includes industrial architectural elements and a lot of dark wood (as a tap room should). You can sit at a table with friends, watch a game on the big screen, or listen to live music performances. Its a fun, inviting place but lets not forget the beer. Im a big fan of their Scottish Ale. If you like variety then youve got to order a flight. If youre hungry, many local restaurants will deliver (or you can walk down White Street and get food to bring in) and on occasion a food truck can be found on a nearby street.

Awesome place to grab a beer. They typically have 7 or 8 craft brews on tap. I have not found a beer I didnt like.They do not serve food, other than chips and such, but are located within an easy walk of multiple restaurants. And they allow you to bring food inside. They also have a rotation of food trucks parked outside during popular times. Love this place!

This place is great, they have good beer, especially when they have a lot of darker porters or stouts on the tap menu. That would be my hope, that they offer more porters and stouts. The atmosphere is good and you can bring in your own food to eat, the bartenders always seem nice and know their beer. The only thing that is weird is they have no trash cans in the store. Im guessing they dont want to deal with all the trash from the food people bring in. Maybe get some trash cans?

This is my local brewery. Great brews. Great people. They participate in a lot of local events. They are also good corporate citizens. Emmalyn might be one of the best beers that Ive ever had. If you are in town, stop by. If you are shopping and see a White Street beer...pick it up. You wont regret it.

Such a fun place to meet friends, drink good beer (and wine) and enjoy the yummy fare from assorted food trucks. Or you can order Italian food from a restaurant down the street that delivers. Friendly folks and a great playlist.

One of my favorite breweries in the area, with a great small town vibe. The bar is very industrial, always clean and has a steady flow of customers every time Im there. The staff is very friendly and the beer is always great!

Great spot in the heart of a lovely downtown. An anchor of the community this is one of the OGs in the area. Known for solid clean beers and a classic, family friendly space. They still fill growlers and crowlers too!Ps. Try the kolsch!

I strolled into a local craft brew store in Chapel Hill and asked for a light ibu, heavy bodied, full flavored IPA and the shopkeeper pointed me towards a 6 pack of Hoptimist by White Street. Amazing flavors and everything I love about an IPA without overdoing the noble hop flavors. Absolutely love this beer, I live in Jacksonville NC and cant wait to see who carries this beer back home! Dont change the recipe ever, please!

With such a helpful staff, good beer alone, isnt needed. But, the beer is catered to the micro-brew expert. Highly recommend, no matter the taste.

Good environment and staff, but no gluten free options, other than wine. The wine wasnt bad, but Id really prefer to see some gluten free beer tucked away for those of us with Celiac, even if they dont brew their own.

Giving three stars because the beer is good, the tap room is nice, and the location is quant, but my experience with the bar tender and the staff was sub-par because we kicked the keg, but instead of giving us the half beer that resulted, they dumped it down the drain. Every other bar Ive been to gives the beer for free when the keg is kicked (unless the pour was very close to full before its kicked). The bar tender said she has been tending for over twenty years and the shift manager also hadnt heard of this custom. This is all fine, but when told about it before she dumped the beer, she proceeded to dump the beer anyway, thus wasting it instead of giving it to us. I was disappointed in this.

Been here twice and the beer was great both times. Knocked a star off because they cant fill growlers from other breweries. I dont need another growler bottle.

I REALLY liked this place. not only can you get local beer from this brewery, but local restaurants delivery to this place. They do not serve food but allow others to bring food in. So grab a pizza down the street and come gather with friends

Like this place and would give it five stars if it had changing tables in either bathroom. Ive DMd them via FB (when I was pregnant in 2018) and they said theyd think about it. Now our crew still goes there, but we have to go to the car to change our babies. So we dont go unless its nice weather. Hope they consider it since a ton of families spend time and money there (and at the FNOW events). A changing table is like $200 + installation cost. Itd make a HUGE impact!

Beer was good, didnt know you were supposed to bring your own food - will definitely be more prepared next time. Overall, well be back.

Nice place to stop in and get a brew! They had a live band that was pretty good the night I was there and they had the playoffs game on a huge tv, I thought it was a nice spot to catch up with friends.

Wife and I both love White Street! The atmosphere is great for watching a big game or hanging out with friends. We enjoy having a beer and throwing darts and the nearby restaurants will deliver if you want food. The beer can be sometimes a little boring (I get it guys, you make money on the run-of-the-mill stuff, not everyone is supporting their brewery with the Sour Pineapple Honey Mustard Imperial Stout Aged on Croutons). Im not going to fault them for playing it safe sometimes, but I hope they strike it rich in the beer business... like so rich that they can wipe down the bright tank with $100 bills... that way they can get adventurous and do some really cool stuff. You know... to make people forget about all the Budweiser-owned breweries in Asheville (but its brewed with real beard oil guys!!)Seriously... White Street is my jam. I love their DIPAs and would love to see a nice NEIPA or maybe a chocolate stout with chili peppers from time to time. Cheers!

Whats not to love? They have a couple that rotate, plus a solid stable they always have. The Kolsch is my favorite. They also have wine if you have a non-beer drinker with you, and if you want food, plenty of places on White St. will deliver to the Brewery.

Chill local brewery located in the heart of downtown Wake Forest. It has a simple layout - bar, tables, brew floor, shuffleboard, bathrooms. Theres no food, but you can bring your own and theres often a food truck around.The beers are all pretty good, though recently theyve been on what I call the eight types of I.P.A kind of kick. Theres there Hoptimist (an I.P.A), a New England I.P.A (an imperial), a Scottish Ale, a Kolsch and a few other seasonals (at least one was an I.P.A.). Their biggest advantage is location and having nice indoor seating. Service was good and friendly, the place was kept pretty clean.

Friday Night on White - had a great time

I am only rating them 4.9 out of 5 stars because I went on Sunday to fill my growler of the most delicious Octoberfest but they said they were out and to come back tomorrow, so I came back on Monday and they were out so I left with a growler full of disappointment.
